Business Owner

Dr. Michael Triantos was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado and attended Michigan State University. After attending medical school at the University of Utah, he performed his pediatric residency at the Children Hospital of Los Angeles, which included a yearlong fellowship in developmental disabilities. Dr. Triantos is board-​certified in pediatrics and is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Gatos.

In his 35 years of practicing pediatrics in Los Gatos,

Dr. Triantos has treated several of thousands of patients, many of which now bring their own children to our office

for treatment. Dr. Triantos believes that proper medical care begins with informed, involved, and caring parents who take an active role in the development and education of their children. By clearly explaining a patient’s condition and treatment, Dr. Triantos has built bonds of trust and confidence with families that span 3 decades.

Dr. Triantos resides in Silver Creek and is the father of two adult sons.

When my oldest son was born 16 years ago, he had a myriad of breathing problems. The pediatrician we were with kept telling me there was nothing he could do because it was a cold and colds were not treatable in infants. The Summer came and his breathing improved. When the winter came again, his respiratory issues came back. We went to the pediatrician and they gave us the same story. We switched to Dr. Triantos and he immediately put my son on a nebulizer. His breathing instantly improved and we have been with his office ever since.
We have five children and with all the sick child visits and physicals we need throughout the year, this office has been heaven sent. I just called because my son needed a football physical and they scheduled it for the same day. If I show up and have another child that I’d like them to squeeze in, they make it happen.
All the doctors are caring and level headed about not over-​medicating. Dr. Triantos and Dr. Milford are always extremely committed to helping me understand their prognoses. I model my expectations for other doctor’s and dentist’s offices after my experiences with them.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Triantos… he has been our daughter’s pediatrician for 10 years now. Sarah adores him!!! She looks forward to seeing him each time we go in!
The entire staff has always been very nice and friendly to us as well.
My OBGYN referred us to him when Sarah was born and we have been very happy ever since.

We had Dr. Milford as our Dr. and instead primarily saw Dr. Triantos and another Dr. that was always in the office. For the most part the Dr.‘s were fine but I transferred from the office to another Pediatrician because the front desk staff. It was mainly because the main Nurse was really rude… Kimberly. We had a followup appointment where we saw a different Dr. and she was upset that we were there not seeing the same Dr. We just did what the office told us and came back and they made the mistake of not doing the appointment with the same Dr. Anyway, it’s way too much hassle to put up with rude staff. I would never recommend them. I had my records transferred out of here and 1 yr later I find out that they missed faxing some the records. We have missing records and when I called Dominque at the front was rude and completely talks over you when you are trying to explain what you need and then she hung up and wouldn’t answer the phone.
We are completely happy that we have left this office and very happy with our new Pediatrician. If you aren’t happy, definitely get referrals elsewhere, it’s so much different and we love our new Dr. who spends so much time with my son and me explaining everything, answers calls promptly and front desk staff that are informed, helpful and friendly. Hoping I don’t have to deal with them again!

I have had Kaiser all of my life but had to change when my husband switched jobs. I was very upset but had to do it anyways. My aunt recommended Dr Triantos for my 2 year old and I couldn’t be happier. He is extremely nice, welcoming, and patient. (My daughter hates going to any doctor.) He can see that my daughter is uncomfortable ad takes the time to try and make her feel better about being there. For example, she has a «bear bear» that she takes everywhere and he will pretend to do a check up on bear bear to show her it is ok. They have a train set in the waiting room that I can’t pull my daughter away from! So even though you have to wait a little bit, she is always thoroughly distracted with the train set and movies playing. The themed rooms are totally cool. They have an underwater room, Sharks NHL room, and a safari room. My daughter really gets a kick out of that. We have always been able to get an appointment when needed and we schedule her routine appointments in advance. They are extremely good about recommending things when I call. I hate calling the nurse advice line so I always call the office for advice and recommendations and they are great about it every time.

When I was a nanny of 4 children, their Dr. was Dr. Triantos. When it came time to deliver my first born, I was thrilled to choose him as my families pediatrician! Not only do I love the staff and he and Dr. Milford… my children ADORE them all! That, to me, is the best endorsement. I am never disappointed or confused when leaving the office. Dr. Triantos is excellent at explaining things in terms easy to understand. He takes his time and answers all our questions. My kids need a little extra attention due to asthma and allergies… so we tend to come in often for «lung checks». My kids HUG the Dr. and Kimberly each time and NEVER complain about having to see the doctor. They often, in fact, make up reasons to go.
I would like to address the comments made about Kimberly in other posts. We ADORE her! She is always warm and cheerful to us and, as mentioned, my kids can’t wait to hug her! She handles shots quickly and calmly… my kids never need freak out. its over before they know it!

I can’t believe there are so many people saying they don’t like the office staff here — I LOVE them. I’ve never seen Kimberly be curt or short, I’ve seen her busy but she always smiles and oooh’s and ahhh’s at the cute babies. When I call to make an appt. whomever answers the phone, usually Dominique, is always nice and always helpful. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience with them.
Dr. Triantos and Milford are both amazing Dr.s. Dr. Triantos explains everything to you which I appreciate. I like being able to relay the information to my husband after the visit. I highly recommend this office! :c)

My wife had gone to Dr. Triantos since she was a newborn (26 years ago!) and now my newborn sees Dr. Triantos — does that tell you what kind of Dr. he is? Hands down, best pediatrician. When our daughter was born, he took great care to explain all the nuances of a newborn to my wife and I.

Drs. Milford and Triantos are warm and friendly. We have nothing but positive experiences with them.
But. the nurse Kimberly drains my spirit sometime. She can be curt and obvious with her frustrations. If I were a child, I would note that when she’s smiling, her eyes are not. I yearn for a pediatric nurse who welcomes children of all kinds with open arms.

My two sons ages 5 and 4 both see Dr. Triantos and Milford. I can absolutely recommend them as fantastic pediatricians especially Dr. Triantos. My oldest son has a propensity to get Bronchitis any time he gets sick and each time Dr. Triantos does what ever he can do help my poor son out. It truly feels like he cares about the kids he sees. The longest I waited in the wait room was 5 minutes (if that), the staff is always polite and upbeat and the rooms my kids love to actually sit in.
Great place if you need a top notch pediatrician!

Not only has Dr. Triantos been my pediatrician (26 years ago!) but now he is the pediatrician for our newborn daughter. Does this tell you what kind of Dr. he is?! Nearly 30 years of service with me and I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Triantos (and his office) for your pediatrician needs. When we brought our daughter in for her first newborn appointment, Dr. Triantos took great care in explaining all the nuances of having a newborn and little things to expect. He took the time to teach my husband and me!
Dr. Belinda Milford is also excellent — I have seen her when Dr. Triantos was out of the office. They make a great team, hard to say who I like more. Ultimately, if your child needs a pediatrician, both Dr. Triantos and Dr. Milford are the best.

We have been so happy with Dr. Triantos! You can tell he just loves what he does. He has patiently listened to us every time and given great advice that comes from 40+ years of experience.
Each room is decorated differently-​ocean theme… all the way to the SJ Sharks Hockey.
We have also had Dr. Milford and although soft spoken, she definitely is very professional, talented and kind, also.

We are visiting Los Gatos with a 2 year old who was very sick. Our friend referred us to Dr. Triantos who saw us on very short notice. He was wonderful to our daughter and though she felt bad, she took to him immediately and let him do things her normal Doctor can’t do without crying. His advice was great and reassuring. If we lived in the Bay Area, he would be our absolute first choice pediatrician!

Dr. Triantos, along with Dr. Milford, is awesome. He is a great doctor and explains things very well. I take both of my kids here. They are open 6 days a week and I never have issues getting an appointment. The entire office is caring and nice to my kids. 5 stars for sure.

Dr. Triantos is the kindest man we’ve had the pleasure to meet and would never consider changing pediatricians for our daughter.
He is a warm, kind man, with so many years of experience. His photo wall shows him with his babies from many years ago.
He saved our daughters life in detecting a kidney reflux problem, where other doctors mis-​diagnosed the problem to be a cold/​flu.
We do wish the nurse was a little more friendly.
Dr. Triantos is a terrific doctor and we are truly lucky to have found him.

Some of the staff at Triantos and Milford are good; some are not. There is one attending nurse in particular who is extremely rude, impatient, and argumentative; she obviously did not attend many client care tutorials because her manner was completely atrocious and disrespectful.
There you have it, folks, to this day, the rudest and most unprofessional nurse I’ve ever encountered on three continents. Congratulations.
Also noted: when you call to confirm appointments with parents, remember to tell them AHEAD of the appointment that vaccine shots are to be done — don’t ambush them or children at the appointment. This kind of omission separates the pros from the absolutely lazy. Treat your patients with the same respect you want.

Everyone has always been great to us… doctors and support staff. My only gripe is that I don’t always see the support staff including the nurses wash their hands when they come in. However, I don’t know if they wash before coming in which is the practice in many clinics and could very well be happening here as well. I may have that gripe since I work in a hospital and conduct hospital training on this kind of topic so I may be too sensitive on the subject. However, customer service wise which is as important, I have nothing but kudos for this staff. They work well together.

Dr. Triantos and Dr. Milford are the best! I’m always reassured when he sees my kids. He’s friendly and has a nice sense of humor. Very helpful and friendly staff. The office is due for a sprucing, but with such great doctors, who cares?!

Also, a tip… if you want to be seen in the afternoon that day, call after 2pm. If you call before lunch, they’ll want you to come in ASAP or early afternoon.

Reviews are spot on. Not only will Dr. Triantos make you feel better about whatever you’re worried about, he will explain in layman’s terms everything you need to know, even if you didn’t ask.
The staff can be a bit severe, but then that’s good cop/​bad cop. The doctor is the good guy, the staff keeps him (not very) on time.

I think the staff here is excellent! They are very warm, friendly, and caring. They even give you great advice when you call in regarding your child being sick. We never really had to wait too long here either. I am very happy with both Dr. Triantos and Dr. Milford.
