Deliciously Yours Kosher Catering by Lucienne

I was really excited to find out that kosher caterer would be providing food for a work event at Testarossa Winery a few weeks ago. Knowing that there would be a kosher option that would help me blend in seamlessly with my coworkers and our guests had me feeling normal.
Unfortunately, whether it was the Testarossa staff or Deliciously Yours, the experience was beyond disappointing. During the five-​course meal, I had three courses of cold food in foil pans.
The first course? A container full of fruit. The second course? A boatload of spinach with a few cherry tomatoes tossed on top. The third course? Some kind of nicoise salad drowned in mayonnaise.
I had zero clue how many courses there were, and I kind of hoped there would be some hot food. Alas. They provided food I could have gone to any grocery store and produced on my own. I stuck out like a sore thumb with the offerings.
I won’t recommend Deliciously Yours to my kosher colleagues in the future.

I recently hired Lucy for a major event (250 guests) and the kosher catering received excellent reviews – for the food, their lovely displays, and service. Here’s a recap of my feedback to her after the event:

Fantastic food, wonderful customer service, and very accommodating even on short notice orders! I’m so thankful that I found the reviews on here! I had to order Kosher food for a work event on extremely short notice. It was Passover and I couldn’t find anyone who was open and that I could order Kosher food from. Lucy and her husband are not only amazing at what they do but they are also very kind and gracious. The food was superb. Just all around, they did a fantastic job. I am so happy that I called and received their help for our event!

The most amazing caterer you will ever use. We have used her services on several occasions. From an intimate dinner party to my husbands 70^th Birthday bash. We needed a Kosher and Vegetarian — and even Vegan– believe it or not. on a very short notice. and she came up with an amazingly tasty creative and delicious menu. Her delivery is always on time. Her smile and presents puts you at ease– and you know all will go well and your guests will be very happy. Her creative touch turns you buffet to work of art. Try her I guarantee you will be very happy.

I called Lucy based on the two other Unilocal reviews, and I’m so lucky I did! We recently had a work conference that included people from Israel, Asia and California. Some of the attendees were strictly kosher and hard to please. Lucy took into account all the different palates and dietary requirements and created meals that everyone loved. I’ve organized dozens of lunches for my company, and by far, Lucy’s food received the more compliments than any other catered food we’ve had. Lucy is amazing. Every dish is made with love.

The food was delivered promply. The food was amazing! We Had 22 very happy dinner guest. We even had leftovers. The brisket was the best I ever had. Sorry mom. We’ll definatley use her again. Above and beyond service.

Paper napkins and disposable silverware — $ 8.50. A bottle of Blackberry Manischewitz wine — $ 3.99. Having the number of a good kosher caterer in your back pocket — priceless.
