Took the CPR/​AED class at O’Connor hospital for $ 45, and had a great experience! Kira taught me what I needed to relearn after years have passed since my 1^st certification. She had any my over and positive vibe about herself which made this 2hr class very enjoyable! Thanks Unilocal.con

I have taken CPR/​AED and First aid training a lot within the last 20 years of working with children. (I started when I was a pre-​teen and got babysitting gigs.) I’ve probably taken it a total of 15 times in my life.
Truthfully I’ve had some good instructors, but Kira and team are top notch.
Hands down.

She is informative, to the point, non-​intimidating with her depth of knowledge and gives you real-​life practical know how for care and training in life or death situations. She’s also very relaxed and makes the experience fun.
I am a preschool director and we have a 73 year old on our staff who was terrified to take the test to pass the training, but Kira’s teaching and mannerisms immediately gave her the confidence to know what to do in an emergency situation.
We will not be booking with anyone else for our training from this point forward.

Kira taught a group of adults at our non-​profit organization, and was thorough about CPR for adults, children, and infants, as we work with all age groups. She was so friendly, and very easy to plan and work with. We even chatted while waiting for the participants to arrive, and she has such a heart for safety training. She made the class fun and quick, yet detailed. We had lots of practice on dummies she brought, and she was prepared with one for each person in our class. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Kira comes to our Boy Scout troop every year for 2 classes: CPR and First Aid. Both are painless :) and informative :))
I don’t have to give up a weekend day or take a day off of work or start right after work and get home super late. Kira manages to cover the material in a timely and efficient manner.
On a side note, it’s incredible how many changes are made to first aid care every few years. So I am grateful to renew my certification and get up to speed /​refresh myself so I can help someone if they need assistance.
I used to dread these classes, now it’s a no-​brainer.

I’ve been certified both in CPR and first aid many times before. That being said, most of the classes are so dry, boring, and I have felt like the instructors were just reading from a manual. Kira came to my office on two separate days to train us in both CPR and first aid. As we work with kids, its very important for all of my staff to be trained. Kira was great because she kept the class light, but definitely highlighted all of the important points. I’d definitely recommend any business to call Kira to come and train at your office, but also believe any individual would really benefit from taking her course.

The training was so easy, and time just flew by. We may have never done it if she didn’t come to our office, and make it happen.

I knew it was time to re-​learn CPR given my caregiving duties but had been putting it off for a while because it’s one of those things you dread doing.
We took a CPR class with Kira last night through my daughter’s preschool, and it was great. She had really good dummies for us to practice on and taught us everything we needed to know in a clear, logical, efficient way. She was also empathetic and tactful when talking about the sometimes sad/​scary subject matter. If you want to learn CPR, take a class with Kira.

Kira came to my office today to train everyone on CPR/​AED and within two hours, armed with knowledge and hands-​on training, we were certified.
In addition to the «dummies,» she brought humor and relayed great stories which made the class just fly by.

Kira was very helpful, friendly and efficient. I needed to update my CPR certification as it had expired a few years ago and I want to return to work as a child care provider. I did not have the time to put together a group so I contacted Kira to see if there was a class I could join. She was teaching a class that I could join in just a few weeks, that was perfect for me. It was a class for infant, child CPR and I stayed after class for a short while to include adult CPR. She is a good teacher, friendly and approachable. I felt comfortable asking questions. Kira gives clear instructions and gives interesting examples that are tailored to the group she is working with. In this case she was focusing on emergencies young parents would likely face. This was fine for me as I was interested in child care. She augments discussion with short videos. As other reviewers have pointed out she is also concise. It was great that the class was less than three hours, and I still felt I had all the information and practice I needed to be successful in an emergency.
This is at least the 4^th time I have been CPR certified so I’ve heard the information before. Yet Kira gave some great tips for hand positioning to avoid fatigue while preforming CPR.
Her class was also very affordable at $ 45, she said that since I’ve already taken CPR the first aide would only be $ 20. I have seen other companies charge up to $ 95 for the same information. I also wanted to add that her CPR dummies were new and clean, which I appreciated.
I highly recommend contacting Kira the next time you need your CPR certification. I’ll be attending a first aid class as soon as I can put one together, or get into one she has already scheduled.

Kira has been a pleasure to work with. I first contacted her to host a CPR Training Session for my group of «mom» friends, and we enjoyed her humor, kindness, and stories so much that we invited her back to teach us about First Aid! When I held the Fundraising Chair position at my daughter’s preschool in 2007-​08, she also hosted the same classes that were previously mentioned, and she generously donated a large portion of the proceeds back to our preschool. She’s professional, sincere, and highly dependable — and she’s become a great friend along the way. I wouldn’t dream of calling anyone other than Kira for any of my safety training needs!

So a few weeks ago, I’m notified that I need to complete CPR training in order to graduate and receive my teaching credential.
What???
So technically I’m Red Cross certified for CPR and First Aid, but I never got my little card, and I doubt I will ever get my little card. Curses.
So I get an e-​mail saying that CPR Training solutions has a class at the community room at Sports Basement and a bunch of SJSU people will be attending. So I bring a test batch of bacon chocolate cupcakes with me and off I go!
Kira is very sweet and made the class very interesting, when usually it’s a snooze with Red Cross.
It only took about 2 and a half hours to get through and I got my card right then and there! I had plenty of time to go look at shoes and jackets that I shouldn’t buy but then bought anyways. Grrr.
But really though, if you want to get CPR certified, Kira is the way to go!

I put together a group of aspiring teachers who needed to take CPR a a requirement to get our credentials. I contacted Kira through email and though she was very busy, she set up time on a Sunday so we could take her class.
CPR solutions comes to your location to teach Adult, Child and Infant CPR as well as first aid. We only took the CPR class, but I was impressed.
There was a 6 person minimum, but that didn’t seem to be a problem for us. The CPR alone was $ 45 per person and valid for two years — a great deal. The class took about 2 ½ hours and was VERY simple. We each had our own dummies to practice on and Kira was very professional. She had many true stories and great examples of why and how CPR worked. It was a fun class, and I was so relieved as I was dreading the ALL DAY Red Cross option.
CPR solutions was EASY, FAST, AFFORDABLE, and (oh my gosh) kind of FUN! We had a great time and now are all certified to save some lives.
I would recommend this business to anyone who needs to be CPR or First Aid certified without the boring, awful, all day class.
