Charles Goodman, DC

Great Doctor, he definately is at top of his game !!! Very very good at what he does! I have been seen him on and off for the past 4 years for variety of problems: shoulder, arm, back… etc. Everytime, he was always able to identify the problem and adjust me back so percisely ! Highly recommended ! My whole family and some my friends, and co-​workers also seen him, they all have great experience with him.

I have tried Chiropractic care off and on with just ok results.
Then I had a terrible bicycle accident coming down Moody Rd. My bike was toast. It wasn’t until the next day that I realized I was worse off than my bike. I was in agony. My whole body was sore, I could barely get out of bed. My back and shoulder took the brunt of the fall and the pain was unbearable. My massage therapist called Dr. Goodman on a Saturday and he came into the office to treat me. My blood pressure was ²⁰⁰⁄₁₀₅. Dr. G said pain can do that to you.
He gently adjusted me and I got off the table, stunned how much better I felt. We took my BP again: it dropped 40 points!
Since then, he has treated my 85 year old father for life long back pain. Dad wouldn’t walk half a block with me, and now enjoys a stroll.
I asked him if dad was his oldest patient. He laughed and said he has patients in their 90’s. I asked him how old his youngest patient was. He replied, a few hours old. The baby was in the hospital in a tent. The parents, both patients of Dr. G’s, frantically called the doctor. Dr. G arrived promptly and gently put his fingers under the tent to adjust the baby. Soon after, the tent was no longer needed!
And last but not least, Dr. Goodman is a very kind person. He only treats you when you need it, and he doesn’t push unnecessary treatments.
If I could give him 10 stars, I would. If you are in pain, Dr. Goodman is the best Chirporactor I have even seen.

I have never been to a Chiropractor before, and I must say It was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend Dr Goodman for any of your back issues type needs. Ohh and Im not the same Kevin D that did a previous review, we just have the good luck of having the same great names

Several years ago I experienced a sudden onset of tinnitis. The ringing in my ears was constant, and at times so loud that I could not hear on the telephone and would have to excuse myself from business meetings.
My HMO doctor told that it was just part of getting older (I had just turned 45!) and that I just have to learn to live with it! Dr. Goodman proved him wrong! Within a relatively short time of working Dr. G. the tinnitis eased up significantly and then disappeared completely.
I’ve continued to work with him on neck and back issues and have often recommended him to friends. In addition to the great results he achieves, he is accommodating and flexible — and has a genuine and honest concern for his patients.

Not sure how I can «super fan» Dr. Goodman’s practice.
I first started seeing Dr. Goodman for a shoulder problem incurred from a car accident. I’d been told by other doctors that the pain would go away after the swelling went away. It didn’t. Silly me, for nearly 7 months I lived with pain, severe enough that I wouldn’t hold anything heavier than a glass of water in my right hand. After 1 treatment, I could lift my purse (no ‘what’s in that thing’ jokes, guys). And after a series of treatments, I forgot that the injury even happened.
Fast forward many years, and I broke my foot. Dr. Goodman has been a constant through the healing of a very bad break that has resulted in a surgery, and years of physical therapy and ‘traditional’ medical treatments. What I can tell you is that I think it’s been the combination of medicine and chiropractic that’s helped me return to activities I wasn’t sure I would ever be able to do again.
So… about the doc. I tell people, and I’ve referred a handful of friends and family, that seeing Dr. Goodman can only be a good thing. His ego doesn’t get in the way of his treatment practice or his advice. If he thinks you should see someone else, he’s always been very honest about that.

Approximately 10 years ago, I picked up a box incorrectly and strained my back. I went to a chiropractor two blocks away from the Pruneyard, and it was like walking into Bob Newhart’s TV sitcom office, except without Bob, the budget to build the set or any good taste. The chiropractor who saw me put two electrical current vibrators on my back and walked away for 20 minutes. I returned again, and he did the same thing. No relief from the back strain at all.
I tried another chiropractor, and it was pretty much the same lousy experience. AKA, let’s see how often and long I can get this patient to come and spend her money with me.
I gave up on chiropractors for about five years.
Five years later, I had the pleasure of being in Escrima class (a martial arts class) and was bruised, beaten and battered. I received a recommendation to see Dr. Goodman and I *finally* know what good chiropractic care means.
Dr. Goodman is a third degree black belt, who takes unique pleasure in making people whole again. He studied and has a degree from a college which specializes in Chinese medicine, and this is to your advantage.
While Dr. Goodman has Western upbringing, his care is wonderful, as he strives to heal you, not make you return anytime soon. He will be honest and caring about your condition, the problem (s), how often you need to see him to obtain relief and what you should expect after your session.
His average appointment time for a returning client is 15 – 20 minutes, so a busy professional can slip an appointment into their workday. He takes most major medical carriers, and is happy to work with you otherwise.
I’ve now been seeing Dr. Goodman for many years through a pregnancy, birth and for additional health problems. I feel like I have the best care possible, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health.

Dr. Goodman is Great! Not all chiropractors are equal but he is excellent!
He helped me significantly. I now live out of the area but am making arrangements to see him when I am back in town. He is that good!

Dr. Goodman was very helpful in relieving my sciatica problem. Through his treatments and some modifications to my sleeping arrangements I was able to overcome this ailment and have not had any problems for quite some time.
My Blue Cross health insurance didn’t cover chiropractic, but Dr. Goodman worked with me to make it affordable. Thanks Dr. Goodman!
