Excellent food and service! Highly reccomended… I had the chicke parmegiana and my wife the chicken alfredo. Both excellent.

I’d give this place a 6th star, I would. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. The owner of the restaurant was serving us and he was so nice and attentive. Our cups were always filled without question and our appetizers and main entrees were delivered in perfect timing. The prices are beyond awesome for the amount of food that you get. The flavor is out of this world. One of the BEST(no joke) Italian restaurants I have ever been to. If you’re in town, you must give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Delicious Italian food & wine Not only is the food fantastic their wine list is the best in town. One of my favorite things to order is the chicken piccata over pasta. We have also enjoyed the bruschetta, mozzarella fritta, sautéed mushrooms. On Friday and Saturday nights they also do a to die for prime rib. The chef is one of the owners and you can taste the pride in the food he serves. We definitely give this place 5 stars!

Excellent restaurant! Everything is amazing! The chef and owners are doing an amazing job here. Keep it going. Some of the items I always enjoy getting(not all at once) are: Bruschetta, Mozzarella frita, Chicken Parm, Chicken Piccata, Pasta Pomodoro, Veal. An absolute must visit!

Had dinner here on the way to Norcal. Place is quite dated. Serving portions are generous, and food was alright. Service was good — servers were attentive.

large restaurant off pacheco… parking and tables plenty… large bar counter at entrance… old fashion dining area… separate party room for banquets or special reservations… probably fits 50 max… pasta, chicken and salad… food is quite basic, but saucy… alfredo sauce tastes fine and pasta is slightly overcooked soft… amount of sauce is bit overwhelming, but fine… chicken was cooked firm and covered in thick clear caper saucing… tasting okay… tube pasta in red sauce… plenty of sauce covering and filling every tube of soft pasta… salad was just standard basic greens… expect filling portions and a super saucy experience… standard store bought taste

Hadly anyone here. Most people were in the bar. Food was fresh and very tasty. Waiter spilled my drink on the table and didn’t bother to replace it! Still, I would recommend eating here.

We just stopped in for a bloody mary while driving out to the bay area. They have a cool little lounge/bar area in the back. Good drink! Next time we’ll eat and I’ll update this review.

Are you kidding? How in the world is this place an overall 4stars? I’ve been here several times, and honestly I’ve tried to like it. The people who give this place 4 – 5 stars must never leave the city limits of Los Banos. This is far from authentic, and borderline fancy feast for cats. I’ve had the pasta, the chicken, the sides, and even a burger(how can you go wrong with that? Welp… I was wrong). Aside from the food, the vibe of the place seems that of a corners office. Update the ambience, and redo the entire menu and I’m sure it will straighten out.

Amazing fresh Italian food that you can tell is made with love & is served with homemade special sauces! Super attentive and friendly staff! I live 45 minutes away from this place and it’s well worth the drive! First time here & I’m not disappointed! I rarely give out 5 stars ;)

My God, what a find! We drive through Los Banos for years and rarely stop for food but the other day I had to. The thought of fast food was too depressing so I decided to try this place. I was served by one of the Munoz brothers himself. I asked him what’s really good here and got the standard answer«Everything!». Not exactly helpful but it may be true. I chose the Seafood Linguine with red sauce. Their red sauce is very possibly the best red sauce I have ever had and I have been to Southern Italy and Rao’s. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the portion was fairly generous. It came with very good bread piping hot from the oven so I used it to mop up every bit of sauce on the plate. If I did not have to drive for another 45 minutes I would have considered getting another dish. Sigh. The décor is very old school, kind of goes with the family style Italian food. Can’t wait to drive through again with the family so I can try a few different plates. It’s definitely worth a detour off I5 next time you are in the area. Highly recommended, I rarely give out 5 stars.

Above all, great service! Good wine and great steak. The interior decorating is a bit dated but it’s not about that. The food is good and so is the service.

Had a great family gathering. Plenty of room and the food was very tasty for our group of 52. Yes we have a big family. The raviolis were outstanding. The chicken pic a ta was out standing especially with such short notice the might before. Fresh green salad with huge verity of toppings. We highly recommend the food. The 1970 furnishings were comfortable.

We drive out of town for our Italian food. We ate here once. The dining area aesthetic isn’t exactly pleasing, but as the only Italian restaurant in town I was really hoping the food would be great. The food was okay, but not great enough to charge legitimate restaurant prices.

Worst«Italian» restaurant ever! Ordered the prawn cocktail and calamari for our appetizers, the prawns were room temp and the calamari(fish sticks) tasted like they were from the freezer section at the grocery store. Our entrées were nasty, my children, who will eat just about eat anything, refused to take a second bite, it was as if a can of Alpo dog food was heated and served over pasta! We took them to the ice cream shop after because we felt bad for making them go to this disgusting restaurant! Would never recommend this place!!!

Excellent service ! Excellent food ! Place looks great, a very traditional setting with beautiful dinner-ware ! The food looks beautiful, well put together on the plate in beautiful fashion. Alex and the other Waiters/waitresses are on top of everything! Don’t even have to ask for refills, everything is truly taken care of!

Oh boy. Well, they’re certainly very nice. The food though was pretty abysmal. Fried calamari consisted of long deep fried fish sticks. Egg plant parmigiana was undercooked and bathed in a meaty brown sauce that was reminiscent of a ranchero sauce. Chicken parm was at least edible, though hardly tasty. My side of vegetables was cooked to a mush and bathed in a soup of oil. The dinner salad did at least come with fresh lettuce. I don’t write many reviews, but felt compelled as a public service to add my two cents to try and counter all the four and five star reviews here. If I could give negative stars, I would. Buyer beware!

Not bad for Central Valley California. One those place that smells and feels like it has been here for ever. The staff treat you like you are a local. I had the chicken Marsala. It was really good. I like the wine taste, onions and mushrooms. The bread was a little dry and the ravioli was over cooked and not much of a taste. But hey the hotel is next door. It is always nice to be in a new town and be in a welcoming place.

«How ’bout Italian?» This is how our obsession began. A group of friends and I were staying at the hotel next door. It was getting late, and we were cruising Los Banos wondering where we should eat dinner. «It’s close to the hotel…» When we walked in, we were skeptical. This place was OLDSCHOOL – it looked like it hadn’t seen a remodel in fifty years – plus, it was filled with OLDPEOPLE. «I have a bad feeling about this…» Husband whispered. But our first impression could not have been more wrong. We loved everything about this meal. The first thing that stuck out was the unbelievably good service. The waiters were so fast and attentive that it left us dizzy. No water glass was allowed to get past half-empty, and if we so much as wrinkled our brow, there was somebody there to ask if we needed anything. But we didn’t actually need anything, because everything was SOGOOD! The food, the wine, the service, even the kitschy old décor all blended together into a perfect meal. Which is why, the next time we found ourselves driving down the I-5, we had to stop again, this time for lunch.(Keep in mind, it is a good 10 minute detour off the interstate to get here… that’s how much we love this place.) Surely the first time was just a fluke, right? It couldn’t be that good again? Except that it was. Same great service, same amazing food. A few months later we were back here again. Did I mention that we live in Reno?! This time it was Kid’s birthday, and we couldn’t think of a better place for a birthday dinner! Oh, and same great service, same great food. We managed to eat at M&M four times in about 18 months. How a nondescript Italian joint in Los Banos became one of our very favorite restaurants is something we’re still a little bewildered by. But there it is. We love this place. LOVE. IT. My suggestions: My favorite dish is the linguini with clams, white. The sauce on this is so good that I have them wrap up my leftover sauce to go because I can’t bear to part with a drop of it.(They always include some extra bread for me when they pack it up.) I’ve also enjoyed the eggplant parm sandwich(lunch menu) and the ½ spaghetti, ½ ravioli. Also, you must, must, MUST have the cheesecake for dessert! It’s not made in-house…I think they buy it from angels. THEBEST cheesecake. We’re heading down the I-5 next week… guess where we’ll be stopping?

I really enjoyed this place! Great service, food fast, and reasonably priced! Only bummer is they were out of tiramisu! The shrimp Alfredo is amazing! Get the garlic bread!
