La Quinta Inn & Suites Los Banos

Pretty decent place considering it’s Los Banos but very very noisy. The housekeeping continually talked loud back and forth to each other in the hallway and doors slamming all day. If you need any day time sleep this is not the place

The property itself is very nice and updated with great design, and clean presentation. So that’s worth the one-​star. However, when it comes to service; it is a big ZERO.
After a midnight check-​in we were kept up the entire night we by noise of other rooms. Nothing was done by the management to solve the issue. The most regretful part came into play when I addressed those issues, and nothing was done with it. No one ever got back to me, and when I complained politely at the frontdesk personally, IALINA just defended herself in an incredible unprofessional and non-​polite way.
Nothing was done with our complaint, nor any friendliness was shown by the frontdesk staff. The promising 100% satisfaction guarantee stated on their website would not by applicable for them since they were a franchise (?) — according to IALINA, the assistant manager.
Don’t look for customer service here, a smile, or any kind of empthaty. Oh, and not only the guests can be loud, from 7AM/​8AM on, when the cleaning ladies are present on the floors, they almost scream to wake all the guests up with their loud talk in spanish.

New property with excellent rooms. I was pleasantly surprised. Seems a bit out of the way of the 5 if you are traveling, but worth the 10 minute drive into Los Banos!

I stay here all the time for business travel and it is by far the best hotel in Banos. It is in the same location as the old Vaganond hotel but they did a complete design overhaul and its much more modern and pleasant.

This is a literally nice hotel, especially you are desperately viewing comments of other inns. I got room of one king bed and sofa bed. It is clean and tidy. No bugs, no smelly carpet, no stains on bed. I would definitely stay this hotel if I would have to come back this place again.

Solo female 31 yo traveler on my way back home from a business trip. 1 night stay… sunday night. Arrived around 4pm and checked out at 730am.
Rooms were large and brand spanking new. Smelled nice.
Parking lot was large with ample parking and well lit.
The rooms facing the front of the hotel (side where the front doors are to lobby) face the parking lot and that is a better view. I was facing the opposite direction on the first floor so I saw a brick wall 5 feet from the window (with just dirt and garbage on the ground, no grass or concrete).
Area seems just ok… not totally sketch but not magnificent either. It was fine for me since I wasn’t leaving the rest of the night. TV was great.
No noise could be heard from the hallway at night but I always bring a fan to drown out noise.
Bathroom was slightly small but not going to stop me from staying again.
I did not eat breakfast but I grabbed some fruit on the way out.
I will stay here again and I highly recommend. Cheap and comfortable with new rooms.

We stayed here when the place was only a couple months old. It is very beautiful and clean. The pool area would have been 5 star if only the jacuzzi worked. This made me mad because I love the pool and spa areas a lot. But I can’t complain too much because we got the room free for points and got upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. Nice staff too.
