Hate it!, I am standing here in the iyle #8 because only three counters open and lines are reachin all the way to the end of the iyle which is ridiculous. What’s wrong with opening more counters or self check? Came here to pick Wine n Salsa… never again!

Never had a bad experience at this Vons location. These guys are on point with their service. Their deli and bakery, are one of the best that I’ve had the pleasure of patronizing. Breakfast sandwiches or burritos. Regular sandwiches, soups, fried chicken, wedges, and… SUSHITOGO! And I don’t mean some weak packaged sushi. They have an actual sushi chef there, making fresh sushi on the spot! Slide over to the deli area, and try some of their excellent pastas(pesto pasta and bow tie basil pasta*), different salads and side dishes. On to the bakery! Lol You can choose from many different rolls and bagels all fresh, for $ 0.69! You can also ask them to heat up any of the rolls, bagels or garlic breads you purchase. You can’t tell me that’s not awesome! I mean, you caaaaan. But c’mon now. Lol So next time you’re there, take full advantage of your experience and what they offer to their customers! *Side note* Wash it all down with iced coffee or tea from the Starbucks inside the store! #ForksUp

This was my first visit to this store. I was sceptical it would even be half way decent. I walked in and was very surprised by how neat and clean and well stocked it was. They have an excellent selection of fresh fruits and veggies including organics. The bakery selection is wonderful! The freezer section isn’t huge but they have a pretty good selection there. I went on a sale day and spent $ 250 and saved $ 56. The employees were very polite smiling and greeting us and quick to offer help. I will be making this my regular store from now on!

The most unhelpful employees. And one self-righteous, sanctimonious grocer named Ryan. I’m calling the store manager and putting in a formal complaint.

If I could burn down this grocery store I would. It has the most willfully rude and unhelpful employees I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. My boss sent me on an epic goose chase trying to retrieve a receipt from this store, which is EASY everywhere else but for some reason is beyond Vons’ capabilities even at a corporate level. The phone operator insisted I travel across town to pick up the receipt in person, then when I got there claimed I should have called! The manager was rude and kept walking off while I was trying to talk to him, and then claimed he couldn’t find the receipt because it was«too much work»(even though I had the specifics of the transaction). He gave me a phone number to call which turned out to be WRONG(it was for their point club) and the service line I was transferred to told me I had to fax my request. Cut to: the next day I call corporate to check on the fax. They claim there is no fax!!! Unbelievable. Amazing, even. After literally an hour of waiting on hold they do indeed find the receipt, but then proceed to tell me I have to mail in a request to a PO Box(5−7days) to REQUEST a fax(so now they have a fax machine?!). What is this surreal hellscape of customer service? I have no choice but to slog on because it is my job, but I am fairly certain at this point there is no receipt, no end to this quixotic quest. At this point this store has consumed probably a solid 4 – 5 hours of my life. There is only one lesson to learn here: NEVER shop at Von’s, not even once!

My car was towed from the parking lot of this Vons. I arrived at the store on a Saturday a few minutes before 11pm. When I left the store around 11:30pm, my car had been towed. After following up with the store and the towing company, I found that: 1. At 11pm, Vons suspected my car was not a customer’s car, and they claim they made an announcement ONCE over the intercom(which I did not hear) 2. At 11:05pm, Vons called the towing company 3. At 11:10pm, the towing company towed my car. This is a very flawed protocol for towing customers’ cars. The intercoms at supermarkets are not always very clear, and not all customers will be tuned into every intercom, whether or not it’s audible. I had to pay ~$ 350 to retrieve my car since it was considered afterhours by the towing company. I contacted the store and they refused to do anything about it. I called corporate(Safeway Inc.) as well, in which they said they will not do anything about it. VERYCLEARLY Safeway Inc. does not value their customers. I will be avoiding all Vons, Safeways, and Pavilions in the future.

I shop at this ralphs once a week. Tonight I lost something in the store and I just wanted to know if someone turned the item in. Called 10 times and no answer. of the store is 24 hours at least one employee could have assisted with picking up the phone.

I only shop at Safeway, Pavillions, and Vons stires… brand loyalty and all. The J4U program is pretty nice as well. The store manager is cool, hipped me to some upcoming sales when I asked a question. It’s the rest of the staff that isn’t so great. I called to make a bulk order and it was like I tried to order nuclear weapons, it is probably easier to order nuclear weapons. I wanted to order water. It didn’t happen. Seriously disappointing.

I had already finished putting all the items in my cart when I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home before checking out. I approached one of the Vons’s friendly associates, James for help. I asked if he could hold my cart for me while I drive back home to retrieve my wallet. He said it was no problem and to just look for him when I return. I came back to the store with wallet in hand and looked for James. Just as he promised, he had placed my cart in the back near the refrigerated section where all the milk is stored to keep all of my items fresh. Now that’s what I call great customer service when your associates go above and beyond to help their customers! Thank you James! I appreciate all your help and awesome personality! You’re the real MVP!

This place is ok. The last time I was here with some friends to buy alcohol a worker was following us around like we were going to steal it. Other than that they have good sales sometimes for seafood

I usually stop in at this Vons when I bank at the US bank branch inside the grocery store. The selection is okay, but the place needs a bit of cleanup or better lighting. Perhaps, both. Their produce section is hit or miss. Customer service is okay, but nothing above average. It is one of those grocery stores that take the excitement out of grocery shopping. I prefer Ralph’s prices, but the grocery items at Vons. Vons tends to have a better selection attached to a noticeably higher price tag. This is my local Vons, so I find myself here most Fridays for the $ 5 Friday deals. This grocery store is generally clean, save for the Starbucks area. The seating area can be quite disgusting. One qualm I have is that they sometimes run out of advertised goods. For instance, solid white albacore tuna was on sale for $.99; however, despite coming two days after the sale began I was unable to get even one can of tuna. This has happened with several other items as well. It is highly disappointing when you travel for a specific item, only to find out they are out of stock or the shelves have not been replenished. Ain’t nobody got time for any of that. Frustrating indeed! The lines can also be daunting. I have actually picked up some items and once I saw the long lines promptly discarded all items and exited the store. Overall, I think this location is adequate.

I rarely write reviews but this needed to be told. This is the first catered job ever using a supermarket… Which was the worst. 1. They don’t cook the meal dinners… they needed me to pay, an additional fee to have catered food cooked(never heard that before) 2. The deli department was going to be down one worker, so they needed to make sure they had additional help, which some reason I also had to pay an extra fee for… hmmmm 3. Then I asked for silverware and that was also not included I would have to pay additional for that. I ordered larger number of dinners to feed skid row people for free for the holidays which I also explained to the deli manager, but she didn’t seem to care. I guess she wasn’t in a very charitable mood and all she wanted was money money money!!! well happy holiday to you

The short chubby Latina girl, at the courtesy desk on Sat. 12⁄12 @ 6:30, is completely incompetent!!! The line was 10 people long!(Sorry had to include a description bc I don’t know her name) Go to Ralph’s across the street, everyone there is so much nicer and better trained in customer service!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Came around 5:30 am on 11÷29÷15. We were waiting for about 20 minutes just to pay for two items. Service staff has been called and nobody served us. Was the cashier sleeping on the job? This needs to be checked.

I go to this location once or twice a week between 6:30AM and 7:00AM before work because they have a specific coffee creamer I like, as well as a lot of(perishable) prepared snack trays. One time I purchased a creamer from the front of the display, and it turned out to be two weeks past the expiration date. Another time I bought a tub of cubed watermelon. I didn’t notice that this particular package didn’t have the lid taped on, so it ended up popping off in the ride to work and I had to clean up sticky watermelon juice from my car. Both of those incidents are annoying, but forgivable. What I don’t understand is why in the world they only have one checker in the morning, when the line is consistently 5 to 12 people or more deep. They are super slow to call for assistance in opening a second lane, if they open one at all. I always leave feeling grumpy, so I think I just need to try and stock up on the items I get from a grocery near my house on the weekends.

The best Vons in town. People who worked here are so nice. And very attentive too. Vegetables and fruits are fresh. So far never see any expired items there Very clean inside. One problem is the bathroom … Please upgrade the toilet. It looks so old and smelly. And i hate it we always need the key to go to the toilet.

they never have good arugula at this vons it’s actually really bad for produce but slightly better than the ralph’s across the street but they both aren’t good I mean I don’t know what your produce needs are so maybe your recipe will call for a mushy tomato or wilted kale or a moldy tomato so if you need any of those things then this vons will be great for you they have a very rude starbucks but they can’t control that so I forgive u but could you just give them a heads up thank u also they never have more than like two checkout people working so if you like long lines this is a great place for that also they are always out of those polvorón cookies but sometimes they have them so it’s kind of a tease but that isn’t always bad sometimes it’s like a roulette which is always fun at the grocery store

Came to this Vons on Super Bowl Sunday and it was the third store that we tried to buy wings. We hit the jackpot and found the last four packages of wings. This Store is a nice because it is very big. Compared to the Vons near my house this Vons has a lot more product. I would say that this is a full-size Vons because the Vons by me hardly has any canned goods and also has a very very small cooking supplies Aisle. I love that as soon as you walk into the This Vons they had a whole section of all the guacamole supplies that you would need. See my picture where you saw the avocados and the onions etc. this place also has a lot of parking.
