Vizzi Truck

I used to follow the gourmet food trucks for years. This is hands down the poorest food quality I’ve seen even on a roach coach I’ve had better. Beef sliders were full of fatty meat and the tacos were horrible. My work hired them to serve lunch to us today. Our entire Department was running to the bathroom all afternoon due to this trash food. Poor presentation, upset stomachs and cheap low quality meat. Yuck!

The potatoes were like a salt lick and the braised beef was of lower quality with lots of grizzle. I will try other items the next time I run into the truck.

Awesome food! Got the 3 set of tacos. Pork chicken and beef. Amazing! Not a big fan of chicken but they’re chicken is amazing! Make sure to get extra sauce because you’ll want it! The potatoes are amazing. And the guy helping us was great!

three words: not worth it. basic ingredients, small portions, long wait times.

HORRIBLE GARBAGE.
Do not waste your time eating at this establishment. Unless you like to wait 45 minutes, for a plain, generic grilled cheese and velveta mac and cheese, then by ALL MEANS come eat here!
Honestly, the wait would have been worth it if the food was good, but I literally felt I ate a a pile of SH*T. Don’t call yourself a «Upscale Visionary Cusine» when you’re straight up serving GARBAGE.
And FYI… $ 14 for a grilled cheese and mac and cheese that was nothing special… RIDICULOUS!

First off, the wait is SO long. The team working the truck is so disorganized, I could see after 20 minutes that they hadn’t even started working on my order. I stood next to guy who ended up yelling at them through the window because he had been waiting for 30 minutes already and had to go back to work. People were yelling their names through the window just to see where their order was. My coworker was so frustrated that she tried to get a refund to order from somewhere else. They lied and said it was next. It didn’t come until after other people’s orders were ready.
Once I got my order, I could see that the wait wasn’t worth it. The mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich was just a mess. It was small and looked extremely unappealing. The ingredients tasted so basic that I’m pretty sure I just could have made it myself and it’d taste better. I paid $ 10 for it and I really regret it.

I was a slightly disappointed today. I ordered 4 shredded beef tacos, which were great, but no truffle popcorn on the bottom and the price went up to $ 12. :(

The Vizzi Truck is awesome! I tried the chicken sliders and the chicken tacos (yes, I like chicken) and really enjoyed them both! The cabbage in the tacos is delish and the fact that it is served with popcorn is an extra plus :) Keep it up!

This truck is just phenomenal. The popcorn is absolutely amazing! I tried the fire cracker shrimp tacos and the beef slider, both were so delicious. I’ve also had the truffle mac and cheese which is so filling and tasty!
Vizzi Truck definitely knows what they are doing!

AH! Truffle popcorn, mac n’ cheese grilled cheese with bacon, and bonsai bacon sliders??? I ate everything they had and it was all amazing! Very cool team — give them a try, you love it! I tried them at the #Brake4Lunch food truck gathering in El Segundo and I am so glad I did

We had the pleasure of having lunch provided for about 50 of our guests today. Not a single word of disappointment from anyone. I personally had the braised beef sliders with macaroni and cheese, plus the Kung Pao chicken tacos. Oh my goodness were they both delicious!

Shame on Vizzi and the greedy bastards who run it. We decided give them try at the Made In America concert in downtown LA since they had the shortest line. Their menu that day was limited to cheese quesadillas for $ 9. A little steep for a plain cheese quesadilla, but food is food. And like everyone else in line, we were hungry and weren’t left with many other options.
Little did I know, that $ 9 quesadilla would be the biggest rip off ever. I’ve never felt so robbed before and I’ve actually been robbed. The Vizzi sharks were passing off a single 4.5 inch tortilla (just slightly bigger than a street taco) folded over with some melted cheese in the middle as being worth $ 9. It was literally 4 bites. What a joke! There was nothing special or redeeming about it.
The shocked reaction of every customer after seeing their food was priceless. Or maybe worth $ 9? While customers saw a bite size, pitiful excuse of a quesadilla, Vizzi saw huge crowds, long lines and a shortage of food trucks as an opportunity to make an easy buck.
Well that easy buck also comes with an angry 1 star review. Any business that would rather make an easy buck than care about customer satisfaction doesn’t deserve any business at all. Do not eat here!

This truck is terrible.
We had to wait 15 minutes to order even though there was only one person in front of us. Then, we had to wait another 15 minutes for our food. No apologies.
I got two tacos for $ 8. It seemed pricey but I was willing to give the food a try.
When the food came out I couldn’t believe how small it was.
I stared at the two tinniest tacos that ever tacoed in disbelief.
There were no sides.
No garnish.
No little umbrella to cheer things up.
8 dollars. For 4 bites of (mediocre) food.
The people who run this truck should be in prison.

I like this truck a lot. Most of the items on the menu had at least one ingredient that I had never heard of, but that’s coming from a person who ordered the venison burger and then immediately looked up what venison was on his phone.
What was a pleasant surprise about the truck itself, which has a flat-​screen television attached to the side that you could watch while you wait for your food.
I thoroughly enjoyed my burger, as far as I could tell the venison was cooked well, and the Sriracha aioli that was spread on the bun was a welcome kick. Apparently anything you order is served on a bed of their special popcorn, which is seasoned with white truffle essence, Bolivian rose salt, and cracked black pepper. I’m not a fan of popcorn, but this stuff was truly excellent.

This truck is just not what it used to be.
Back when I tried Vizzi Truck, it was probably one of the best food trucks I’ve ever ordered from. The Wagyu sliders were on par, and the truffle popcorn was savory and delicious and just wonderful.
Nearly two years later, I found the Vizzi Truck on campus, and got SUPER excited, since it’s been a while since I’ve had their truffle popcorn and their wonderful sliders. But the minute I perused their menu, unfortunately, I found that things were different. The wagyu sliders were no more, and I wasn’t seeing the items I did a couple of years back.
Unfazed, I decided to order the slider trio, which included a chicken-​pesto slider and a chickpea patty slider, both of which sounded pretty tasty. I asked about the truffle popcorn… and they told me they had run out. At 11 a.m. How does that even happen?
Well, I waited, a little scared of what was going to come out of the kitchen. I heard my name, and I fetched my order. The sliders were a little small, but still looked good. However, when I took a bite, I noticed that the Hawaiian rolls were lukewarm, almost cold. Huh? This would have been considered unacceptable by the Vizzi Truck from two years ago.
The patties in the sliders, on the other hand, were admittedly tasty. But the roll felt like cotton in my mouth, because they made up ¾ of the slider.
I understand that menus change, especially for food trucks, but for a menu to change to a lower quality is unacceptable. My perspective on the Vizzi truck has changed, unfortunately, and I don’t think I’ll be going back.

First off, I eat a lot of amazing food and experiment in the Vegas culinary world. I’m a foodie. So I have to say that tasting food is kind of my thing. I first tried these guys out at Foodie Fest here in Vegas and a second time in LA. I’m baffled these guys got bad reviews but not everyone has an elite pallet.
I tried the lobster tacos, confit potatoes, truffle popcorn, grilled cheese sandwich, the chilli, and the mac & cheese. Everything was AMAZING! Almost everything had bacon on it, which is classy! I don’t even eat potatoes but I devoured these. Truffle is an acquired taste that some people may not like, but the popcorn only has a subtle hint and isn’t overpowered by it. As for that grilled cheese… I think about it all the time. :(I can’t wait to see these guys again and wish they had a truck in Vegas. Absolutely worth every penny. :)

Wow! The food here is amazing! We ordered the wagyu beef sliders and wow my taste buds were dancing with glee. Seriously it was super tasty… the chimichurri cream sauce was on point. Definitely a must try… it comes with truffle popcorn and it was amazing and I am not a fan of popcorn but you definitely must try it out to believe it. No regrets! Also, you must order I mean MUST try the grilled cheese chicken sandwich… super tasty! It was so rich and full flavor and mouth watering… I am drooling just thinking about it and craving it as I write this review… another must try is their shrimp and kung pao tacos… hmmmm yummy!
Oh and of course, I must mention their super friendly staff… the new owners greeted us right away and gave their recommendations. I’m glad I stopped by here for an amazing lunch experience.
Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu… I hear they are revamping their menu and coming up with more delicious and flavorful dishes. Thanks Vizzi Truck! My taste buds thanks you… till we meet again!

Too salty, even for older customers that usually need more salt to experience the flavor.

I was also disappointing that the buns for the sliders were just store-​bought Hawaiian sweet buns. They did not grill them or anything, just served them cold, so that was BAD, when plated with the hot meat.
The truck looked clean, but was missing any visuals that let me know what I might be getting. I decided to try this truck because at the event I was attending, I had already experienced the other vendors food, so I am always willing to try the new guy at the party.
pricing was as expected and reasonable for the expectation of what I should have been served. they take CC using square so that was convenient as well.
would not recommend or go back unless they fix up the menu.

Awesomely, our work was able to start getting food trucks to come by the office at lunch time. The Vizzi Truck came by and I was excited to try what they had to offer.
I ordered the braised wagyu beef sliders, featuring a maple balsamic bbq beef and chimichurri crème. I had a side of broccoli with manchego cheese because I tried a coworker’s confit crispy fries but it was just an overpowering oily mess.
The sliders were solid, but expensive for what they are. The broccoli wasn’t that special and was really just… broccoli with some cheese sprinkled on top.
Overall, it’s OK food, but would be much more appealing if they prices were slightly lower.

Vizzi was one of the better out of town trucks at the Las Vegas Foodie Fest. After seeing them on Eat Street where they mentioned that their sellers were the Chickpea Slider and The Portobello Piadina, their creative visionary menu items had already help me decide what I was gonna start my lunch off with.
The Portobello Piadina came loaded with meaty portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, nopales (cactus), pickled caramelized onions, smoked cheddar and crème, sandwiched between toasted lavosh. Lots of flavor and different textures, a total winner with this one!
I also got the Slider Sampler-​Black Skillet Chicken, Maple-​Balsamic Braised Wagyu Beef, and Organic Chickpea. The Chimichurri Crème and Hawaiian Sweet Roll on all the sliders
complemented each one very well. Chicken was juicy, The Wagyu Beef melted in your mouth, and the Chickpea was very flavorful with a nice kick.
Another added bonus is the truffled spiced popcorn that comes with each order and acts as a cushion to help keep the items in place in the box, and is a good substitute for chips or fries. I hope they make another appearance in Vegas in future food truck events… ALOHA!!!
