Established in 2004, United Care Family Medical Center has been a bustling downtown Los Angeles clinic for nearly a decade. Due to the high demand for quality and efficient care in the LA area, UCFMC opened a second location in West Los Angeles in 2012.

Business Owner
Dr. Alfred Lavi, is certified by the American Board of Family Practice as a primary care physician. He is the founder and medical director of United Care Family Medical Center. Dr. Lavi and his staff care for a wide spectrum of patients including pediatrics, adults, obstetrics as well as geriatrics. Dr. Lavi received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in the field of Molecular Biology from University of California, Los Angeles. Subsequently, he received his Doctorate degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Graduating with honors he then completed a three-year Family Medicine residency at Harbor UCLA. Dr. Lavi’s formal and extensive training as a primary care physician enables him to provide quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Dr. Lavi also serves as the Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine at USC school of Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences. He is also a clinical professor of Family Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine.
