Wow. Who use this gas station?
You can find about $ 0.5/gallon cheaper price gas at the gas station which is a block away from here.
I tried here once because I thought they must have something special reason for their curiously expensive pricing, but a few minutes later, I just regretted.
For me, they just try to rip off.

Unfortunately, I have to downgrade this gas station since they are clearly trying to rip off customers. As another reviewer already mentioned, prices at this station are anywhere between $ 0.20 — $ 0.50 higher than other gas stations on this side of town. They may be a block away, but it’s not worth getting ripped off. I wonder how long they’ll be able to get away with this little scam they’ve got going on. No wonder a third of their pumps are always broken and I never see a single car filling up whenever I go there. Now there will be one car less.

OMG!!! I almost died near this place!!! Traffic is horrendous!!! I dont even want to think about how I am going to drive around in the city with all these damn cars!!! Two cars crashed right in front of the gas station… clogged up traffic real bad! Cops were there directing traffic and well I was late to my meet love by like 40 min! Anyways, I was short on fuel so on my way home I stopped here.
They are not too bad. I had a guy tell me that I didnt need my tires rotated because its just a waste of money… he further explained to me that it wasnt necessary but places promote them to get the mula out of you. Honest mechanic? Awesome! Their bathrooms are clean… at least for LA they are! Prices shift like crazy at times but I loved their snacks!!!

Didn’t realize I needed a Smog Test and was on my way to the DMV. Popped in and asked if I could get a test in a hurry and they were more than happy to accommodate. My car was serviced by Chet who not only had excellent communication skills, he took great care of my car and made sure I got out of there in the 20 minutes he quoted. On top of that, he is a riot! Really had me in stitches laughing. Don’t need smog tests often, but if I need one again, I will be back! Thanks guys!

Albert the Manager has moved to Kami’s as Lucy Y pointed out. I am therefore also docking Union 76 one star, as my previous review was based on Albert’s customer service skills. Since he moved, I have been to Kami’s and am happy with the service I recieved at that location (see my Kami’s review).

I have to drop this station one star in this update because my awesome mechanic Albert is no longer here. This only breaks my heart for one short minute, because he’s practically shouting distance down the street from here at:
Kami’s Auto Service
That’s right — be as good to me as Albert is, and I’ll be fiercely loyal!

My family comes here for car service all the time! I must concur with Christopher S. and confirm that Albert is amazing! He’s very friendly and honest. And of course, he does great work on our cars at reasonable prices!
Definitely recommend this place for your service station needs!

I always take my car to my dealer for service because I have an amazing warranty. So what happens when a rear taillight goes out?
1) I don’t realize it until a friendly Angeleno points it out.
2) I don’t fix it for a long time because I don’t have a convenient place to take my car in the neighborhood.
3) I freak out about getting a ticket.
4) I still don’t get the light replaced because I don’t know where to go!
Then I remembered that Unilocal existed and that Lucy Y. had a super glowing review of a service station on one of her lists.
Cost — $ 10 and five minutes of my time. Everyone there was very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll keep this place in mind for all the little fix ups.

Not sure about gas, but in terms of the service station this place is great. Albert is an amazingly efficient and honest guy. Fixed my car for half the price of what I paid for the same problem in the past. Quickly as well. I highly recommend going to see him if you need some work done on your car.

Love this place. They consistently have the lowest priced gas in the neighborhood and they are helpful. I failed to get his name but I took a photo of one of the great guys there against the 76 sign yesterday with my iPhone.
August 27: still lovable but no longer the lowest priced gas in the neighborhood.

This is my go-​to spot for filling my thirsty car full of petrochemicals in West L.A. It is normally a little less than the nearby Chevron, and is virtually always less expensive than the fuel in the nearby enclaves of Brentwood and Westwood. I haven’t stopped inside for anything yet, so I can’t comment on the prices of the snack shack.

Although the gas is competitively priced, the store isnt…
everytime i fill up i usually buy a redbull. depending on how the cashier feels, you will either spend more or less than expected.
example: the small can of redbull costs $ 2. its expected that most small privately owned gas stations will overcharge… which is fine. but if youre going to over charge, be consistent! one day i paid $ 2.35. another day i paid $ 2.15. and then another day i paid $ 2.40. what the hell??!
my advice is to just fill up gas and drive next door to 7-​eleven for your redbull needs.

The manager of this station, Albert, will give you all the attention you need, tell you the reality of your car’s situation without putting his profit first, and get your car back to you as quick as possible.
How do I know? As a car broker I’ve used him to take care of literally hundreds of problems for me, minor to major. On every type of car, from Hummers to Volkswagens. He knows his stuff and he’s honest.
By the way, Anyone out there who has questions about cars, I have been in the biz for quite a while, and may have an answer or solution for what’s on your mind regarding cars. I don’t work for a dealer and don’t sell retail so you’ll get honest advice.
