Founded in 1908, Page Private School is a nonsectarian, coeducational private school with six locations in the Orange County, Los Angeles and Florida area. Since our founding more than 100 years ago our mission has never wavered; Page offers preschool with potty training program, extended hours, summer program and advanced curriculum to provide the best student and family centered education to our communities. Page has an elite team of teachers and administrators, small class sizes, progressive curriculum and innovative resources to help young minds and imaginations thrive.

Page Private School has been developing young minds for over 100 years. We at Page try to develop the whole child — character, personality, etiquette, and academic prowess; while providing safe and secure surroundings with fun filled activities.

While Page Private School concentrates on basic education and old-​fashioned fundamentals, our teachers do not use old-​fashioned teaching aids. Our textbooks are the latest editions of the best available and other classroom materials are the finest. Beginning as early as pre-​kindergarten, our students not only learn to operate computers but use them in the practical aspects of schooling.

Page Private School challenges students to do their best. Our teaching staff understands that students instructional needs differ. Classes are small and provide many levels of teaching and learning.

I used to go to this school as a kid in the mid 80s. I received the best education that targeted each subject such as math, english, drama, music, spanish, etc. The staff were wonderful at the time, and I had so many memories here. The educational structure prepared me to do well as I transitioned into public schooling, and in college. I went on to have a Bachelors, a Masters and a Credential. Thanks Page School!

This place is not really what they make it out to be. The teaching staff is scared at the chance they may lose their job around every winter and summer break. Attendance is dwindling, and this place is on hard times! Outside of the occasional Asbestos removal sign and junk food lunch program, it’s still not a positive environment for learning, especially when the teachers are more focused on keeping the admin happy and stress free so not to run the risk of losing their job rather than focusing on the children’s needs. God forbid your child falls behind in one single area of development or learning, they admin staff will be quick to blame the parents without really realizing your child was with them for 6−7hr 5 days a week for the past 1−2yrs. I doubt anyone here actually has any teaching degrees and once your child is above preschool the teachers only favor children who are introvert, unexpressive and follow orders to a T. If you want to pay $ 1275/​month for your 2 – 3 yr old sit at a desk and do worksheets and play outside for hours on end with lesson plans that are a joke, then this is your school. If your child acts different in any way outside of the norm compared to their peers the staff confronts you as if it is something you have done wrong, yet the problem really isn’t a problem or anything other than a normal toddler being a toddler… This is not a preschool, it is a school trying to teach young minds as if they were adolescent. Above that they fee you to death with silly programs and text books, text books for 3yr olds, laughable, it’s a binder with construction and computer paper. This is a for profit school seeking only profits… One hick up in your child’s behavior or development and the staff goes hands off and does whatever they can to not be bothered or burdened by the issue. Don’t bother looking into this school for your child if you value expression, positive growth or the beautiful reality that a toddler is only a toddler once and sitting at a desk doing ditto sheets and playing on the playground for hours and hours until pick up time does not achieve successful future growth. All in all the preschool teachers are amazing, the staff is horrendous and the pre– k teachers have no business teaching. Awful place, really is!

My daughter has been attending Page Hancock Park since she turned 2. I have nothing to say but wondering things. The teachers are kind, loving, and respectful of the children, and the kids are just so happy there! The hours are magical for working parents, the cost reasonable, and knowing that both my girls can go here from age 2 through 5th grade with a great education and experience provides comfort in the face of LA public school concerns. In addition to all the standard school programs beyond the classroom such as gardening, field trips, music, computers, languages, swimming, etc, they also offer on-​campus optional after school programs so you don’t have to drag your children around town for those experiences. Those include dance, art, piano, cooking, and more.
I would also note the feeling of difference in quality between the Hancock Park and Beverly Hills schools. While they have similarities, they have uniqueness in their administration, teachers, families, and programs. You have to trust your gut feeling as you find the right place for your children, and I have had peace since the start with Page School.

My son started Page Private School in preschool and now is in the second grade. Watching him become confident and thoughtful in his life has been a joy. A huge part of that journey has come from the community of Page Private School. The faculty and families at Page are very special they all want the best for each child, I assure you that your child will be challenged in a productive way. We have made some great friends who have become an extended family. As my son goes through his secondary education I am excited for him knowing he is arm with great tools as he continues to shape his personality.

After going to the Beverly Hills Campus I was about to cancel my appointment at the Hancock Park Facility, but glad I didn’t. There was a big difference between the Bev Hills campus and Hancock Park location. I was greeted by Hannah who also attended Page as a child and is now their Admissions Coordinator. She gave me tour of the school and took her time to show me every classroom and introduce me to each and every teacher. I have to say I was very impressed by their campus. They had 3 separate playgrounds. 1 for the preschool kids, 1 for pre-​k and kindergarden (which was my favorite) and last the one for the older kids. Their tuition is reasonable for a private school and offer a hot lunch program for only $ 90 a month which I think is a great deal. They also go to field trips once a month. There aren’t enough teachers in the preschool classes…1 per class which is not what I’m used to. Normally at this age there are at least 2 teachers. Call me spoiled, I guess I am just used to the sweet nurturing teachers at Chalk with all their huggs. My daughter is not a «napper» and she wouldn’t be allowed to bring her Ipod to school for resting time which she is allowed to do at her school now. Overall the school is definitely worth checking out. I didn’t rate it higher because this is based on a tour, I have no clue how and what they teach or how they would handle separation anxiety. The kids look happy. Very nice campus and small classroom size for the older kids (3 – 6 grade) which is really nice.

teachers very helpful and considerate. they even change my two year old diapers. it’s kind of expensive but in LA, private school are expensive. about $ 1,000 a month with the tuition, uniforms and field trips for pre school. none-​the less, my 2 ½ year old daughter kailee loves the place, which is why i do:)
