Mid Valley Hospice, Inc

Worked with them with some of my patients and got excellent feedback from patients and families. The staff respond to calls right away. Office people are very efficient in relaying messages and very professional. No prima donna attitude or any arrogance on the part of the owner and the DON. My office staff just love to talk to them without having the feeling of being looked down.

I’ve had the pleasure of using Mid Valley Hospice, and I have to say they are a great company, they have always responded fast to what was asked of them, I’ve also referred other families to them and have gotten really good feedback from the family members who unfortunately have also lost a family member.
Ana and Rosario have been a pleasure to speak to even though I’ve never met them in person.
I will keep recommending this company to family and friends.

Mid valley there been taking care of my mom and they’ve been veryyyy helpful and very nice and they’re taking an excellent care of my mom and it does not mattar what time call they reply right away I highly recommend them

After the grandfather of a dear friend of mine was recommended for a hospice service, we searched for several options. Another friend of ours recommended Mid Valley Hospice inc. We got them and is very satisfied with the quality of care they provide. We can’t ask for a better one.

My 94 year old mom is living in an assisted living complex using Mid Valley Hospice as her care. The staff and services are absolutely wonderful with her, and they keep me informed on a weekly basis as to her care and condition. I’m totally pleased with them and the work they do. Not an easy job, but they are compassionate about their work and the care they give to their patients. Many thanks to the entire staff for making my job of taking care of mom a little easier.

Mid Valley was terrific; all round. The personal and professional care they gave my mother in her final months, weeks, days and hours was a relief for both my mother and also myself being her chief caregiver, and son. Caregiving, and especially hospice, is the most difficult and demanding job in the world, so you have to put of this into Gods’ hands, and let the professionals do what they do best – helping people transition. Not easy but necessary. I must have 20+ phone #s from staff at Mid Valley whom I was able to contact very rapidly. Everything I asked for, and that my mother needed, we got. I recommend Mid Valley as I have for my own mother.

Most definitely would not recommend this hospice. I am an RN, who has been served previously by hospices in the past, so I have a good perspective from which to judge. Before I continue, let me say that the hospice nurse and aide were wonderful, respectful, and caring toward our family and my father. The management of this company, and the after hours services are horribly lacking. Twice we were put on an unreasonably long hold, with music and no opportunity for voicemail for a return call, leaving us hanging with anxiety at a time we needed assistance. On the night of my father’s death, the sequence went horribly wrong. Hospice, during this time especially, functions to relieve the burden of the family by notifying the mortuary, and taking care of the body. The message was relayed by the service that it was non emergency and that I said «it can wait». After a period of time, we actually called the mortuary ourselves, and they arrived an hour before anyone from hospice responded. After an hour, we called the CEO, Ana Safarian. She was disrespectful, defensive, and instead of helping us, worsened an already deteriorated situation. Hopefully no other families will experience the pain and frustration we did with the management and answering service protocols of this company.
