They say they ship for UPS and Fedex, right?! Well did you know they charge DOUBLE what you’d get charged at a REAL UPS location? Yep. I used them once before and was charged a ridiculous amount. This time I checked UPS online, and got a quote of $ 49 for ground shipping. Went here thinking that’s what I’ll be charged, and they ‘tried’ to charge me $ 96 for the same service. I was a little puzzled so asked why they charge double? He simply shrugged and said that’s ‘our’ price. Then I asked where the closest UPS location was he said downtown. What an ass. There’s one 5 blocks east on Santa Monica blvd. I went there instead – Shipping was $ 44. Box & Ship WILL RIP YOU OFF.

When a package was not delivered on time, the owner, manager took it upon himself to open an investigation. His follow through and tenacity has been nothing short of amazing. Cannot begin to tell you how refreshing it is to find someone in such a large environment such as LA where the is someone who actually cares about his customers. Thank you! We will all be back.

Very unfriendly and not willing to help much. Does passport photos, yet has never heard of photo paper. Also doesn’t even know the address to send passport application to. Good job buddy!

I’ve been coming here for years! The proprietor has always been quite fair and reasonable with all of my requests. They can be a tab expensive on the packing and shipping side, but I would rather support them than a bigger shop/​service!
If you are looking for quality, personable service you just can’t fail here!

i wanted to send some baby clothes to my sister (ie this was not a heavy package), and the guy tried to charge me $ 40! =O so of course, i said hell no and ran out of there. i ended up driving just ½ a mile down santa monica blvd and sent the package by usps instead. the usps cost was less than 1⁄3 the box & ship price! how this place can stay in business charging these ridiculous rates is beyond me. o_​O

We’ve had a mailbox here for many years. The owner is absolutely the most thoughtful, conscientious businessman I know. He checks on things I’ve shipped, recommends the most cost effective way to ship my packages, based on my parameters, and even calls me if I ask him to when he knows I’m waiting for a special package, and it arrives. Love, love this place.

Very kind owners. it’s a mom and pop version of Fedex. They take good care of your packages and make sure everything gets there. Might be a bit more expensive than Fedex but much easier to deal with if you need to ship presents or move for college. The boxes here are good too if you live nearby.

me: wait why do I have to pay $ 5, its not going to take up that much space in your store? What if I just come back on Monday?

me: Wait, i don’t understand, what am I paying for, the postage is already paid.
MBBNS: No, $ 5 is for me, not FedEx. I hold your package, $ 5
Still don’t understand if Fed-​ex lets their designated drop facilities charge to leave a package. Just find a FedexKinkos. Theres two nearby
