History

Established in 2012.

Miss Mary, as the kids call her, has been performing music for most of her life. She began teaching Montessori Music over 20 years ago in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Flash forward to 2009, when her son was born.

She researched anything & everything that would help her give the best life for him. Music & Movement, as it turned out, are at the top of the list in terms of helping brain development, social skills, physical skills, health and more. At the time, she was focusing on teaching kids & baby yoga, interspersed with music. While the «Goddess Mama» yoga classes were popular, the music was the biggest hit. She finally took the hint and created classes that focus on music, with dancing, playing instruments and creativity. She studied Early Education Music & Movement at UCLA.

With demand for LoveBug & Me Music classes at an all time high, Miss Mary has brought in some new Magical Music Educators to ensure that little lovebugs everywhere can enjoy the fun & unique experience!

Business Owner

Music called Mary Arden’s name when she was young. It stirred something within her heart. You know that warm, butterfly flutter type of «I’m in Love» sort of feeling? Music was her 1^st love.

Mary Arden’s first audition was her first starring role, as «Annie» in the musical at age 11. Her first job out of college was as a Montessori music teacher in Pennsylvania. She loved music and loved kids. She continued performing on stage in musical theater until she realized that she needed to find her own voice, rather than portraying characters. She began writing songs, sharing deep thoughts and formed a band. She toured the country, released CDs, wrote music for Film & TV, and loved the adventures of an independent music artist.

After the birth of her son, she became so passionate about the benefits of music & movement for kids, that she created LoveBug & Me Music to share this joy with other families. It’s amazing to see the benefits music gives our kids, from newborns & up!
