History

Established in 2006.

Lessons by Jeremy has provided exceptional private and group instruction to aspiring woodwind players of all ages and backgrounds. Students of all ages study with Jeremy. Jeremy’s students have achieved many honors. Notably, one of his most recent saxophone students was accepted into Berklee College of Music. His performance background alone is enough to encourage students to practice and achieve goals. Jeremy’s performance background includes playing in the GRAMMY Award Winning Brian Setzer Orchestra and performing as a guest artist on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. As an educator, Jeremy’s private studio recently reached its eighth year in existence. He also enjoys conducting educational clinics on topics such as woodwind doubling, working as a professional musician and music education at universities and colleges throughout the country.

Business Owner

Saxophonist, clarinetist and flutist Jeremy Lappitt is from Tucson, Arizona. He achieved his Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance from Arizona State University. During his time at ASU, Lappitt received the prestigious Special Talent Award and JazzBird scholarships. He studied under the direction of pianist Michael Kocour and Sam Pilafian, along with associated ASU jazz faculty. In 2010, Jeremy was awarded a DownBeat Jazz Magazine award in the category of Best Jazz Arrangement for «Um Segundo». Later in the year, Lappitt was selected as Lead Alto in the 2010 Disneyland All-​American College Band.

Jeremy currently resides in Los Angeles, California. In March of 2012, Disney once again requested Lappitt’s abilities. He was selected to play tenor saxophone, act and sing with «Five & Dime», an atmosphere show at Disney California Adventure. Jeremy is an active member of the Grammy Award winning Brian Setzer Orchestra.
