I hired Karim to take out a moving TV Wall mount and then install a different TV wall mount and install a TV in my living room. He was professional and got the job done in a timely manner. Overall I’d say he was great and I would definitely recommend him to anybody who needs a similar job done.

Karim was amazingly helpful! We recently moved and needed help setting up a receiver for our surround sound system. He was quick in coming out and was able to help us with our WiFi network and also installed a Sonos system. The Sonos system required some explanation on how to operate it and he was thorough and patient in his explanation. I added his phone number to my contacts cause he was that good! Thanks Karim!

I bought a TV and speakers recently and thought I could handle all the installation myself. But it wasn’t an easy walk as I thought. Karim at High Def Solutions is the person you want to install your home entertainment system (period). I had the Best Buy, Magnolia folks over to give me a «consult», but wasn’t really impressed with that visit. It felt very cold, canned, and expensive. Not Karim. He beat their price and feel that he did a better install than they would have done.
My home’s great room was prewired for surround, but the wires were in an undisclosed location in our ceiling/​walls. Long story short, Karim located the wires and overcame some construction and poor design hurdles to install five speakers (3 in wall, 2 in ceiling). He also installed two outdoor speakers and an indoor volume control. Once again he smartly Macgyvered some poorly thought-​out prewiring issues and found a way to make it work the way it should. What I like about him is when he encounters an issue doing what he does; he doesn’t look for the easy solution, he looks for the right solution. Then he works meticulously to get it done. I know at this point you may be thinking I was paid or have some incentive to write this. Well, I wasn’t and do not. His work is professional and polished. He cares about his craft and takes pride in doing a good job. Those characteristics are hard to find anywhere these days, especially at the big chain stores. Give him a shot.

Absolutely fabulous service. Extremely professional. Very punctual. Very reasonable pricing. And very honest. All of the qualities I look for in a service professional. I highly recommend Karim. I blinked my eyes and he was done with mounting my TV, connecting it and programming my universal remote. It was a small project but I can tell that he could easily spread the skills to large and small projects alike. 5 stars for sure.

I just purchase a Samsung smart 4k television, and needed to incorporate it into my audio and video surround system using my universal remote. Karim was very knowledgable and took the time to see that the systems was not only working properly, but that I understood how to operate the system. If your system requires anything more than a simple set up, I would recommend you stay away from installers at the chain stores and get the expertise and personal attention that Karim provides.

Karim is the best. Hands down. He showed up and gave me a more than fair quote. When I asked how soon he could do the install he said he just had to grab some additional cabling and he could do it later that day.
He was back within the hour, and just one hour later, the job was done. He was communicative about what he was doing and why the whole time and gave me options throughout.
Couldn’t imagine a better (or nicer) guy for the job. I have his number saved for next time.

This guy missed an appointment with me once which is why I previously reviewed 1-​star.
I called him back because you can’t argue with the quality of his work. He is exacting, has the extra stuff (cables, mounts etc.) you might need so that’s convenient, and by exacting I mean he is spot on with placement and install (balance, center, mount etc.)
His prices are fair. His work quality is top-​notch. And, he doesn’t leave a speck of dust after his work.

5 stars all the way! I was blown away by Karim’s service and knowledge. He cared just as much as I did in regards to how everything looked and its functionality. My plasma TV mount was installed within an hour from when when I first called and my TV looks perfect!

It was Sunday and I needed my tv mounted quick in order to watch my beloved Saints. Luckily I found High Def solutions on Unilocal and I talked to Karim and told him it was a emergency! It was no problem for Karim, he came out in no time at all. My television was mounted and he even put the cords in the wall! I love my video games and movies so it was really cool when he hooked up my entertainment system to the highest level of performance. He was in and out in 2 hours, just in time to catch my saints!(they lost)
Overall Karim was professional, nice, quick and really just a live savor for coming out on a Sunday. Next time I have any low voltage entertainment needs I know EXACTLY who to call!!! Thanks again.
