History

Established in 1992.

Was originally established mobile service by my father and my older brother., they were both in to the locksmith solutions and on calls since they were teenagers, at their time, and after my 13 years of service in the Air Force intelligence it was then passed on to me .

now i am 61 years of age me and my son in the trade. in the high end advanced new locksmith technology, that we have in the American locksmith moderate industry, all in all grateful.

I thank my brother for the most part he is 67 years old in Israel still making this business running from my grandfather whom inherited to us, a family generations of the special trade that last in the family.

Me and my son Mike been in the locksmith business for quit some time, care to a point where money isn’t an issue, for me or him to be thrive for, but to truly have the compassion in helping with lock and key problems for every and everyone individually all in all reasonably, and to also get the chance to see that same person over again that’s the obvious goal, with that comes lots of effort and fairness and full understanding, Yelp members have been honestly one of our true trustworthy people, so besides that we would want you to tell others and that others will make us useful for them one day.

Locked my everything in my car except for my home keys. Mike came even though he did not have a call back phone number. Other places refused to do so and though it was a prank (I used google phone to call from my iPad so there was no caller ID). I called a couple times to update with him where I was etc. He’s helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

I called Eric last night to schedule an appointment for the morning time, and he was very kind and quick to the point. Even when I had to reschedule, he was completely understanding and showed up right on time at noon. It only took him about 30 minutes, and he was completely professional. Excellent service, reasonable price!!! While dog sitting for a friend, I locked myself out on Friday night of Memorial weekend. I had to call my husband and go home because I was barefoot and everything except the dog was inside, including my phone. Saul not only got me back in, but picked me up at my house on his way, and was very pleasant doing it. With minimal waiting time. I was back inside within an hour!

Mike helped me out by replacing the key for my 2005 Acura RSX, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
— He responded quickly and professionally, including via text, which was great.
— He gave me a small neighbor discount, since I live RIGHT by the office location.
— He didn’t mind answering my 500 locksmithing questions. He was even excited to tell me all about it while he worked, which was super fun.
— Even though it took FOUR HOURS (thanks, Acura), the price was still the same and reasonable.
— He had to come back because there was a problem with one of the locks. He fixed it right up, no charge.
— Just a really cool dude. I had a fun time hanging out with him. I would call him again for any locksmithing needs.
At first I was annoyed at how expensive auto locksmiths are, and I didn’t get why it cost so much to replace the car key. But after talking to Mike quite a lot, and watching him work nonstop for 4 hours, I totally get it.

I got locked out of my apartment and Eric came in less than 30 minutes. It only took him about 20 minutes or so to figure out how to open such a complicated lock. To be honest, I had my doubts at first, but he really surprised me and opened my door without any unnecessary damage to the door or to the lock. He picked the lock using unaggressive and delicate measures and made it look like a magic trick. Thanks again, brother. God bless!

My boyfriend and I were just about to enjoy our Saturday by getting some sun on our balcony when the door unexpectedly locked behind us. We checked the front door but that was locked too. He is a physician who happened to be on call and his phone was locked in the house. He was almost about to break the glass door down, when I checked Unilocal and saw that this locksmith was the closest too us, had great reviews, and was open on the weekend. I called him right away, and he quoted us at an incredibly reasonable price, and said he would be there right away. In less than ten minutes he was there and our door was opened in five. He then was kind enough to give us all kinds of helpful tips to prevent us getting locked out in the future. If you need a locksmith, I highly recommend you call this one at anytime.

I worked late and didn’t end up getting home until 11:30pm. I tried to get into my apartment, but apparently my lower lock wasn’t working. My key just kept going around and around, grabbing nothing. I had a momentary freak out, then remembered this is LA, where there is 24 everything. I Unilocaled and came upon Eric’s Locksmith. I called and Eric was great. First he had me send him a photo so he knew what kind of lock it was, and then he got here in under 30 minutes. After ~15 minutes, he got me in. He gave me an invoice, made sure I knew it was broken from the inside and I was not at fault, and encouraged me to have my landlord call him if there were any issues getting reimbursed. A truly nice guy who got me out of a pretty pickle. Thanks Eric!

I was running out the door with my daughter when I broke my key off in my lock. I went back inside and went on Unilocal to find a locksmith. I was in a hurry so I read 2 reviews of this business and then I called. Eric came over within 20 minutes, fixed my lock and made me a new key! Somebody stole my house keys (because we don’t we have enough things to worry about besides petty thieves), so I started calling around for quotes. Eric quoted me 105 $ to rekey 3 locks and provide a few keys. Great price compared to what other companies quoted me. Got locked out of my apt this morning and called all other locksmiths in town. Besides the fact most were rude and pricey. Paul here answered the phone and was my savior! He was so sweet. He tried helping me open the door on the phone very patiently, but when that didn’t work he went above and beyond to help me out. I only had a certain amount cash available and he worked with me. It took him two seconds to open the door and was honestly so genuinely nice. Most places try to milk you for money, but here I actually felt they really wanted to help. So thanks so much Paul! As an honest contributor to Unilocal,I must –MUST-​update you on my prior review of Eric’s Locksmith. The owner contacted me and told me he has let the person go who came to my house and seriously overcharged me. He has also sent me the difference in overcharges. Y’know, we are only telling other people of our personal experiences. To have the owner even acknowledge let alone send the difference is really such a wonderful thing to do. I bought two used file cabinets that didn’t have keys for the locks. I called at 4pm asking if he could replace them. He was here by 4:15. The file cabinets had new, working locks by 4:40. I mean, come on! This could not have been an easier, more professional transaction.

An incredibly easy transaction, which is what you’re looking for in a locksmith.
Details: Needed a new mailbox lock as I moved into a new condo without a key to the mailbox. I called Eric and setup an appointment for 10:00am in the morning.
At 10:03am, Eric calls, asking if I’d like him to start working, as I was running a bit late. I show up at 10:05am and he’s already done replacing the lock with a new one.
Obviously, I saved him in my phone immediately as locksmith and have a new keymaster for life (or at least my time in LA)

15 months later, Eric’s Locksmith saves the day again! On my way to an important company meeting, carrying my laptop bag, water bottle, heels, and iPhone, I managed to leave the house without my keys. As the door slams in my face, I realize the telltale lack of jingling a moment too late, and start to panic.
Thankfully, I had my iPhone and immediately called Eric’s. I was told a secret about my brand of lock once upon a time, by a great locksmith, that any locksmith can look up my key design and cut me a new key with just a serial number. After learning that, I emailed myself my serial number 3 years ago, and now I happily looked it up and gave that number to my Eric’s Locksmith savior.
My coworker drove me to where he was currently on a job nearby, and he promptly handed me a shiny new key. I gave him a rumpled $ 5 and dashed home to grab my keys, and made it to my meeting an hour away with time to spare. Not only did he tell me that good customer service was his priority, he chose to not abuse my moment of panic to screw me for a $ 100 house call and lock picking. What a gem!
(Note: I stopped at Westwood Lock & Key on the corner of Westwood and Santa Monica Blvd on my way to meet the Eric’s guy, and they LIED and told me cutting a key by serial number wasn’t possible, and they’d have to make a housecall and drill my lock and replace it. Easily $ 150 because they knew I was in a bind. Once I started to walk away, they told me they in fact could, but for $ 25. I scoffed and went to meet my buddy from Eric’s.)
I’ll never recommend another locksmith as highly as Eric’s Locksmith, I swear to the Unilocal Gods.

This place is a joke.
Yesterday I made an appointment to have a locksmith here today at 2pm.
I called at 2:10pm when nobody arrived. I was told he messed up and someone could come at 3pm but he’d try to get someone here sooner and he’d call me back in 15 minutes.
It’s 35 minutes later and no call.
This is not a good way to do business and I’m glad I found out before getting this simple work done rather than hiring them to do the next job (a very complicated install) and encountering this. I’ve gone and hired a different locksmith.
Thanks for nothing Eric’s Locksmith. You truly suck.
