District Fridays

To put it bluntly: It is all ya get if you are 18 and wanting an 18+ hip hop club. That is the only reason why I’ve come back a couple times.
The security guards are assholes. One time I had a water bottle and one approached me. I told him I was underage and it was water. He took it and smelled it, then told me I had to go home. I walked around the block and came back to the line.
Another time, I was wearing these bedazzled sandals, and a guard came to me and my friend that we couldn’t enter because of our shoes. I just shot him a «really?» look, and he said «uh, hold on let me get you a waiver. They scanned our id just so that we could wear open toed shoes? It’s a cheap club that thinks that they are better.
However, if you are 18, and somewhat broke, this place is what you have to live with. The music is good inside, and the people inside are always fun. Water is $ 5, but my nasty self always just steals cups and fill them up in the bathroom.

If I could I would give it 0 stars. The reason being is because first of all the text to get in for $ 5 before 10:30 is a lie. I got there at 9:30 and they start moving the line until 10:15. They were asking if my friends and I RSVP and we said yes. When it was time to pay they were like it’s $ 15 now instead of $ 5. Who does that? We clearly got there before 10:30. The DJ sucks! I can hook up my phone and be a better DJ. They didn’t play any Latin music whatsoever. They are really disorganized! The cops had to come and shut down the place because the bar tenders were giving under age people drinks. It got shut down at 12:30 and my friends and I didn’t get in until 11:15
