Alright, so this is a sweet, bitter then semi-sweet review. Matt(owner) got an earfull when we were inconvenienced but came through like a champ. So we move from California to Dallas on the cheap. CanXpress moving & storage was the less expensive of the bunch we sought out and their reviews were great so we were set. Date is scheduled and were good to go. About a week later we were politely asked if we could reschedule the move date 4 days sooner to combine our move with another’s and to allow the mover’s to spend the holiday weekend(Memorial Day) with family. Pull in the heartstrings, but fine, I get it, no problem. For the shuffling, we were offered a slight discount and verbal guarantee of a 4 day turn around versus a 7 – 10 day turnaround. Fast forward: moving day, movers come on time, polite and all business. By 5pm, we’re moved out and on the road to Dallas. Day 4: air mattress is taking it’s toll. Let’s call the movers and see when they’re expected to arrive. So we learn the truck hadn’t even left California. Check engine light. Not happy. Contacted Matt and voiced my opinion. The guy went to bat for us. He took responsibility for the mishap, got us another discount and took care of other small moving issues. Listen, end of the day, know the facts. Get everything in an email or on paper. Ask questions! i.e. «are there additional fees for 3 story town homes?» Can Xpress delivered. They owned up on the unsatisfactory experience and made it right. They followed up through the process and corrected the mistakes. Solid customer service!!! A company that listens!!!
