This apt at 2892 w 7th St LA ca 90005 is a dump. I had bed bugs and had to throw away my bed all my bedding and my sofa. Did they give me any compensation NO and on top of it I did not get all my deposit back. RUN don’t walk from this property. OLD and very run down. Parking is awful don’t look at this apt.

I’m thinking about asking the roaches, fruit flies, and mice to pay rent since they’ve been living with me for over a year… unfortunately every time I turn on the lights to ask for money they all run away… so whatever. Personally i think the fruit flies are the rudest since they just fly around all day and bug you. The roaches just party at night mostly and aren’t too noisy, the mice. well they just walk around like they own the place. I’ve tried feeding them a killer meal to make them go away, but it’s hard to get rid of a party that just won’t stop. Outside my apartment, the tenants are the best thing about this place. Friendly, social, caring, diverse group of people who sadly have the same pest problem. I’ve learned that this building is more interested in a vending machine than taking care of its tenants. Water gets shut off once a week, so you have to plan accordingly. The apartment manager is a sweet heart and does her best to help, but it’s her big bosses and once a week maintenance guys who suck balls… they don’t care, that’s the bottom line, cuz stone cold said so. P. s. don’t worry there are no bedbugs though!

This is for the 2017 n Argyle ave apartments. I have lived here for almost 2 years and this building is terrible! Pipes always breaking and the tubs fill with dirty water and gunk. People never clean up after their dogs, leaving dog shit all over. The front foyer is kinda nice where people leave their things as a free for all. I’ve accumulated some dishes, drinking glasses, wine glasses and some clothing. But if no one wants it whats left is left sitting there, it sits for months. The building manager here is terrible. I have sent many messages about the pipes, door handle to my apt, the dog mess in the back with no reply or doing anything about it. Its so disgusting with all that dog mess! There is a grill that is for tenants but who wants to BBQ out there with that smell of urine and shit!!!

Wellllllllll. what to say about this place… It’s fine if youre barely ever home. Wouldn’t live here if you have kids and care about your pets. It’s not really maintained… has drug deals, hookers, and just strange stuff happen on the daily. Would wake up to drunk people screaming outside my door at 3am on the regular. Pros: I had a pretty sick view from my apartment and a lot of the people that live there were all very nice. Mostly artists or creatives. That’s pretty much it. Lets get to Cons: Parking, well there is none so good luck trying to fight for one every night if you drive. Infested– When i say infested just think all of the above. I have had a bedbug incident which wasn’t resolved for me well and had to stick it out for 4 months. Those who had bedbugs know the seriousness of it. A lot of my neighbors had the same issues and one even just said screw it and left cause they didn’t help her for over 6 months. Cockroaches from what i’ve seen are gigantic. Oh lets not forget the rats… I thought I was lucky and didn’t have any. Welp on the last few days of my move out there was a dead one in the middle of my living room. The«security» was just hilarious… the management. well used to just be a complete joke. A new one came in recently and she was nice and made some changes that I think helped the place. The laundry. well you want your clothes clean? Better to take it down the street to a laundromat cause it’s just disgusting. Sure it’s lower rent than most places… but trust me when i tell you you can find WAYYYYY better places to live for around the same price as this place, you just have to look. This«NY Vintage Style Apartment» is not what you think it is unless you’re looking for mold, infestation, craziness. Seriously… think about your health lol.

This place is a little old, but great to live in of you just want to live through on a day to day basis. Parking is horrible. I recently moved to LA from San Jose and I stacked up quite the parking tickets, unfortunately I wasn’t notified by my landlord. I don’t blame him, here in LA as in SF and NY or any other crazy populated city is common sense. Anyways, this place is close to everything else if you’re the walking type. I would recommend to move in for the prices they have to offer.

As far as apartments go, the units in the building on 7th arent the best. But, they’re not absolutely terrible either. The pricing ranges from $ 750‑1500 for a studio-2br, and the tenants are pretty laid back. I’d say that for the price and space you get, it’s pretty decent. Just beware: PARKINGIS A BITCH! It’s SO easy to rack up hundreds worth of tickets because of the time constraints. Do yourself a favor & purchase a monthly parking pass from a lot nearby.

The guy below me I think, is reviewing a different complex owned by the same people… I have not lived here, but I visited as a prospective renter. First of all, its on a VERY steep hill. Like, if your cars breaks aren’t on it will roll and I am not even kidding. Secondly, the manger is nowhere in sight and does not answer his door bell. The elevator is scary because the doors are old and you have to push them open. Yes, it’s somewhat of a creep show.

And Adding to John J’s…“The Tranny who walks around wanting to bum a cigarette and gets beat down infront of the building”… and that black drunk guy with the huge cyst on his face… What the hell was that thing? Its like a side show. I didn’t live here, but visited plenty. This is in regards to the bulding on Manhattan &3rd Street in Korea Town by the way, which is owned by this company. I don’t know how to rate this. Its a sh! tty neighborhood. Part of the block is still considered the hood. This is just one of those appartments which is trying to attract different kinds of people than what is used to living in this low income area. It will continue this way until the block is cleaned up, meaning this bulding gets demolished, or all the garbage from the block gets evicted and or leaves. Other appartments, one in Hollywood is of better taste, and the people are different. As to the company, never really had any problem. The previous manager is awesome and was always very responsive. As to the company, its a bit slow on processing checks. GF is still waiting on a deposit check which doesn’t seem to come. And after howling and working with the managers that keep being blown off by the accounting department, all you can do is wait. So 1 star for the company.
