Kathie has been working with our twin 5th grade boys for several months. She was highly recommended, and we have been so happy with her. Kathie is patient, kind, and understands our boys’ different struggles. She has helped tremendously! Kathie is fantastic. Working with our son she has taken him from someone who struggled with math in the 7th grade to a student who was accepted into the Honors Math program in the 8th grade and is thriving. More importantly he has a new found confidence and appreciation for math. She is kind, patient and calibrates lessons to what the students particular needs. I would recommend Kathie unreservedly.

I HIGHLY recommend A Plus Math Tutoring! Kathie has been working with my daughter since August 2014 and my daughter — a student who bounced between A’s and B’s — now makes straight A’s. And, more importantly, she understands math better than she ever has and has a much better grasp on the concepts. Kathie is flexible, patient, and provides understandable explanations. She has helped my daughter via email and the phone on evenings when she didn’t have a lesson but had questions. I am very, very, very happy that we found A Plus Math Tutoring!

Kathie is a god send! My son was failing math and math homework was a NIGHTMARE. After working with Kathie, he made 2nd honors and homework/​classwork greatly improved! Kathie is VERY patient and able to keep distraction at a minimum. She is very prompt and offers ideas and suggestions on how to improve learning environments at home so your child stays focused. I’m so glad we found Kathie! She is very reasonable and I found that my son really looks forward to having her come over and tutor!
