Established in 2006.

I started this business because I have a passion for food and thought there was a lack of high quality, artistic, kosher catering. The fact that I would be an integral part of people’s most joyful celebrations and be able to share in their happiness was something that really appealed to me.

I started A.D. Catering in 2006 after working in numerous restaurants and catering companies.

For 2 years the company grew and gained popularity. Unfortunately the as recession hit in 2008 we suffered a large drop in business. Little by little the as the economy slowly picked up, so has business. People are rediscovering the quality, attention and care that made A.D. Catering popular in the first place.

I started cooking at a young age with my mother. To me cooking was a kind of magic. You could take something that in its raw form could be unappealing and even inedible and turn it into something beautiful and delicious!

My first job was in a family friend’s catering company. I was hooked. I loved learning about the professional kitchen and learning all the new recipes. I would come home after a long day of work, often times at 9 or 10 pm, and try to recreate at home what I saw the chef prepare that day.

I decided to go to Los Angeles Trade Technical College culinary school to get a more formal and focused education. I worked in numerous restaurants and catering companies before deciding to start catering on my own.
