This deli inside a liquor store has always had super great sandwiches. I should have written a review years ago, but didn’t. I grew up in the area and we would hit the deli for lunch during high school all the time. Greg and his sons still run the store and have the same quality sandwiches for the past 35 years from when I was growing up. They still run the local shop and still have great sandwiches which I get from time to time when working in the area. I will stop in out of the blue and they still know my name after all these years!!! Super friendly family!

Man this place has been here forever. Never set foot in it though ive driven by it forever too. Theyve got a sign for taqueria so i dropped in. Desebrada, asada, chile rojo, and bbq pork. All decent meats though the chile was dry. Toritallas are big so the tacos are also big. They use a fresh tomato salsa that migh overpower the meat a bit and i wish the tortillas were cooked. 4 tacos at 2.5 each turns out to be a lot of food. Decent stop but it’s just because there’s not a lot of Mexican choices in Los Altoa

I just finished eating their super burrito and indeed I am a fan. The place looks very modest but the quality of their meat is quite the opposite. They have at least 5 different meat options, all of which are homemade and full of flavor. The burrito was good and they let me combine two meats along with the addition of all the fixings. The store could use a cleaning but I would not sleep on this place. If you live or work within 10 miles I’d say it’s worth checking out.

I like«thousands of people» bought lotto tickets for the huge Powerball game of May 18. I also bought one Super Lotto ticket, I may have left it on his counter on the 17th. The previous mentioned rude owner, who did not hand me my tickets, thought it really funny and was laughing like a swine the whole time I spoke to him. The fat doofus is his son and we can all look forward to another generation of pompous a-holes running the place.

Love the Family owned business, Greg, Robert n Adella! Great Super Taco Salad and Super Burritos. Ask for«the works» special salsa’s to choose from. Good for contractors(popular at lunch time w/guys!!) and lottery ticket buyers. Nice patio in back. Convenient location across from post office on Miramonte near Loyola Corners and down from great gas station. Easy Parking. Soda’s to everything!

I used to like the burritos my husband would bring home, until I actually went to the deli myself. The health board needs to check them out. MOLDEVERYWHERE!!! I have never been so grossed out. The food sits around all day, under suboptimal conditions. Nice guy working the deli, that’s about it.

The guy who worked here was completely rude, and I’ve been tainted by that experience ever since. Completely put me off for the whole rest of my night. Uncalled for! This happened a few years ago, so it’s probably a different guy now. Unless it was the owner, in which case I stand by my boycott against you!

YUM! Unless my Mom had told me that this place actually had mexican food in it AND that it was good… I would have never gone in. It looks just like anyother liquor store… but inside beholds a great little taqueria! How weird! But how great! Not to mention that Loyola Corners has basically NO food(hard to believe but true). The burritos are the best. I’m not kidding, they are really good! I sometimes find myself craving them. I understand what Michelle W. is saying about questionable freshness… but I have never tasted it in the food and whenever I do go, it’s on a work day at around 11:30−12 noon, so it’s fresh and ready to go! Everyone here is so nice and friendly! P. S. This is the place to buy a lotto ticket!

Think Mexican street food, but sadly without the number of customers to keep it at its freshest. I had an amazing super taco with chicken. It was basic, simple food done very well. I got guacamole and would avoid it in the future. It tasted like it hadn’t been kept quite cold enough or wasn’t quite fresh. I considered 4 stars, but they would need more customers to keep the food turning over faster so it would stay fresher. This place is also JAMPACKED with liquor choices. The wine selection looks amazing for a little liquor store.
