FamilyCord is a cord blood bank that has provided stem cell services for 15 years. Operated by nationally renowned physicians, including a stem cell transplant physician, FamilyCord has an «A+» rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Guided by world-​class scientific expertise and medical ethics in everything it does, FamilyCord has extensive experience in clinical laboratory management, cord blood stem cell and cord tissue banking, and frozen tissue storage.

In addition to cord blood banking, FamilyCord offers the opportunity to bank stem cells from umbilical cord tissue, an excellent source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). Researchers have discovered that MSCs will play a major role in future clinical therapies using Regenerative Medicine.

California Cryobank Inc., the parent company of FamilyCord, was founded in 1977 by Dr. Cappy Rothman and Dr. Charles Sims.
