I have been shopping around for window estimates and this company is 5 star. When I called into the office, the receptionist was delightful. She took all my information and scheduled an appointment at the convenience of my schedule.
My saleslady was Montina and she was fabulous! She was running late, but the office called to let me know about 45 minutes before. It had started snowing the morning of my appointment. I also think the company would be wise to give a window, instead of a time slot.
When Montina arrived she was warm and personable. She showed me different options for windows for my home. She also educated me on the materials they use and the install process. I had four other quotes and this was the ONLY company to talk about materials and install process. She was positive, nice, and a good listener. She was not pushy about the sale and never made me feel rushed or pushed into anything. I highly recommend Window Nation for window replacement.

After writing to the owner of Window Nation about my experience, a local manager called me and I decided to give the company another try before deciding which door installer to go with. The salesperson showed up 20 minutes late for the appointment, but was courteous and did educate me about door quality and glass quality. The visit took more than an hour and he would have stayed longer if I had not rushed him. I was disappointed to learn that the person visiting and giving me an initial quote did not measure the doors, but a separate person had to visit the house to measure the doors, and depending on what s/​he found, the price may vary. I was quoted retail $ 8,000+ for two doors, but with standard discounts, $ 5,700. He said if I decided that day, it would be $ 4,200. I did not have time to check reviews and compare companies that day, am an turned off by high-​pressure sales tactics like this, so I did not take them up on their offer. The $ 4,200 quote was within reason and though the second-​highest quote, it was in the ballpark of the better quotes. Their door and glass quality seem to be very good. If the discount was valid for more than a few hours, I may have used their services.

Representatives from Window Nation continue to solicit door-​to-​door in our neighborhood, though it is on a non-​public street and is clear posted for no solicitation. Why you would want to buy windows from a company that has to canvas door-​to-​door is beyond me.

Three weeks since in home visit and still no estimate or communication. Not worth the time.

I love my new windows and doors from Window Nation! After 18 years of owning my townhouse I finally replaced the original 1978 windows and sliding glass doors and wish that I had done it sooner. The first thing we noticed was how quiet our house is now. Inside and out, our windows just look so great and it makes such a difference in appearance when you drive up and see the clean, white frames. It has made our house look so much better than the others in our row.
From our salesman, Dave, to the two wonderful, hardworking young men who installed the windows and doors, I couldn’t have asked for better service. In the past two weeks, since my new windows and doors were installed, I have recommended Window Nation to several friends and co-​workers and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for helping to make our 36 year old house look new again!

We live in North Carolina and purchased 10 windows about 18 months ago. We were pleased with the product, installation and overall service. We are going to replace the last 7. I sent an email to the website requesting a quote. I immediately got an email confirming a 5:00 pm appointment the next day. About 10 minutes later I got a call from a woman saying there was a computer glitch, and we scheduled an appointment for Saturday at noon. I then got emails and a phone message from Bridget telling me that they don“t have a sales office in Charlotte any more, but our warranty was still good, and they’d like to help us with new windows. No one ever showed up at noon, and subsequent emails have gone unanswered. The web site still shows 3 locations in Charlotte. I have looked into the «Guild Quality» on their website and all that company does is charge WN for customer surveys. Very disappointed in WN, I thought they were different in a shady business .
Buyer Beware!

Attended the home and remodel show at Dulles expo center and saw these folks at a booth. Made an appointment and they came when they said they would. However, then I got the big sales push — «the discount from the Show is only available while I’m here — if I leave it goes away». I was unimpressed with the answers I got to other questions and so decided against their windows. Later when I was reviewing the materials I had collected from the show I found the promotional material from this contractor where it said their quotes were good for 30 days. Sorry folks, but that kind of sales fibs means I NEVER buy anything from you. Buyer beware!

Wow, really disappointed in their customer service. I previously had a fairly positive experience with WN and they replaced nearly all of the 18 windows in my home. Most recently I’ve been trying to replace my entry door with them, and have had a horrible experience just getting them to be responsive and have the right materials to move forward with my project. Poor follow through and follow up. A bunch of unkept promises. They will not get my business again.

Jim S’. review under this company was EXACTLY my experience. The salesman tried to charge me1k for each window (13K total) until I showed him an estimate from another window company who would only charge $ 400 per window installed. The salesman then said he would call his boss to see what he could do. I felt like we were at the new car dealer with the salesman going to «talk to the manager» to try and lower our price. Ridiculous. The salesman got off the phone and said we could have the windows for $ 8,500.00 if we purchased them right then. Just like Jim said above… it is one of the oldest scams in the book of high pressure sales. That price was still more than the estimate I received from the other reputable window company, Window Man. And Window Man’s windows were better quality for the price. I was stupid enough to fall for Window Nation’s high pressure sale at the moment and put a down payment on the job, but smartened up and within two days got my money back (I was allowed 3 days to cancel the job). Go to Window Man if you want a one time fair price for a good quality window. No high pressure sales job, no outrageous prices.

We love our new windows. We feel like for the product we received we got a pretty good price. The only thing that holds be back from a 5 star is a surprise we had NO idea was going to happen. Basically with the new window install the entire window seal is gone, so our blinds had to go bye bye because there is now no room to hang the bracket. I wish we had been warned during the measure I wouldn’t have spent all this money on nice new blinds. Other than that the install was quick and easy, the men working were very respectful of our home. I would recommend Window Nation to anyone looking.

I recently had Window Nation install new windows in my ground-​floor condo. The lead installer was as good as it gets. He was professional; careful; exact; and didn’t leave a speck of dust when he and his coworker finished. The windows look great and my place is sealed tight! Thank you Window Nation!

Heard about Window Nation on the Kornheiser program. If Tony got his windows there, then that is good enough for me.
Made an appointment for a free estimate. The rep was on time, and really took time to review the options with us. We had taken a few estimates on replacing windows, but the Window Nation rep was the most thorough and gave the most options.
The pricing was right in line for a project of this size, so we made the decision to move forward.
Are we ever glad we did!
The installation team was magnificent. They were clean, worked hard, and I felt like they treated our home as if they were installing at theirs.
The windows are terrific! Heating bills were reduced by almost a full ¹⁄₃^rd at our house, and I am looking forward to lower cooling costs this summer.
I would tell anyone considering new Windows to call Window Nation.

My experience with Window Nation is fair. It’s fair because of a combination of events that led up to me actually RECEIVING the windows. It’s also fair because of their installation practices which, while I understand, I don’t necessarily agree with.
I initially called to have a sales person talk to me. I was told that that would take 48 hours. No response. 2 weeks later I called and was told that my name was in the system and no one was sure why I hadn’t received a returned call. I set up an appt with the sales person and they neither showed up NOR did they call. After a few months I decided to do this again. This time a sales person came and we went over everything. Because my condo was built in the 40’s, I was asked if there was lead. I didn’t think so because it had been renovated in the 90’s, but I couldn’t say for sure. I was told that the measurer would test for lead. If there was lead, then I would pay extra to have the windows hauled away. Ok. The measurer
didn’t test for lead. When I asked him about that he said «we’re assuming you have lead.» REALLY?! I went out and bought my own test kit and I did indeed have lead. If that test had been negative, I would have had to fight that. My appt was between 8 and 10. They didn’t arrive until 11:30. To the installers credit (Frazier), he did call twice to let me know the status and I appreciate that, but there was an error at that shop that caused the delay. I had shades which they removed to install the windows. I was told that I couldn’t put them back up until 6 that evening (the windows were finished by 3.) I was not prepared to have to reinstall my shades, but living on the first floor of the building, I didn’t want people looking into my home. There HAS to be some faster drying caulk out there. 3 hours was also not enough time for it to dry so I had no shades overnight. I wasn’t happy about that AND reinstalling them in the morning was a SERIOUS task. That might be the right practice, but surely there’s something that can be done differently here. Because of the lead, I was told that the haul away fee would be $ 200. When Frazier showed me the paperwork it said $ 260. I told him that I was only paying the quote that I was given and he said that he would take my payment back to the office.
The windows look good and in the winter I’ll see if they keep the cold air out, but it took me a lot to get to this point.
Because of my experience I can only give 2 ½ stars. At this point I’m not sure I would recommend them.
