Description

Specialties

Daycare

We provide a safe and clean 24 hour daycare that caters to your dog during their stay.

On-Site Training: Consists of hands-on training at our facility in 24 hour increments. This is similar to a type of «boot camp» atmosphere where we conduct a series of training exercises during their stay. This type of training identifies trigger points and the level of intensity displayed by dogs when pushed past their comfort zone. Instructions for continuing training in the home will be provided at the end of the training session.

History

Established in 2009.

In starting a dog daycare/training facility they wanted to provide an environment that continued the obedience training and pack mentality that dogs experience in their own homes. They wanted more than just a bunch of dogs trying to entertain themselves; they wanted pack — a group of dogs that worked well together, played together, trained together, and grew emotionally and socially into confident self-assured dogs. Brian and Laurie realized through their fostering with K-9 Lifesavers and All 4 The Animals that many dogs were not provided a structured home of leadership, discipline, exercise, and affection and the reason for many problems facing new dog owners was a lack of education on how to appropriately train and socialize their dog. They both firmly believe that most dogs desire leadership and discipline and common destructive behaviors are not caused by the dogs inability to adhere to rules, but due to the lack of training and socialization.

Brian D.

Business Owner

Brian has been working with rescue dogs over the past year with issues such as: cat aggression, dog aggression, dominance, fear aggression, gender-based aggression, leash issues, resource guarding, etc.

Brian not only applies an understanding of dog behavior to his work, but he also uses his own dogs to create a submissive, confident energy that promotes learning with other dogs. His use of verbal commands and hand signaling stimulates dogs mentally and helps to keep them focused on their training.
