Welcome to The Basic Shop. The Basic Shop was created to provide easy access to contemporary women’s fashion, unique home accents and specialty gift items, that are not readily available locally. Each Piece is hand selected, based on boutique quality and uniqueness, without the high end boutique prices. In addition, the comfortable, inviting environment ensures our customers have a relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience with every visit.

Not only is The Basic Shop a quality local retailer, but also provides personal shopping, by appointment, and is available for special occassions and events. If you are looking for a memorable experience, to celebrate any occassion, we’re here to help you plan and host your event.

History

Established in 2015.

As a resident of Placer County, for more than 30 years, and a member of the Loomis community for the past 11 years, I am very proud to have the opportunity to support the «Shop Local» movement by launching The Basic Shop. A retail store that provides a wide range of women’s fashion, unique home goods and specialty gifts. We also provide personal shopping/​fitting, and personalized, private parties without leaving Loomis. Since our Grand Opening, in late June, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know my long term business neighbors, as well as our fellow community members. I truly look forward to growing those relationship and gaining new ones.
