Specialties

I help guitarists who want to build their skills and confidence so they can play the way they want to.

I specialize in seeing what inspires you, figuring out how you learn, and helping you improve.

Beginners

I can help you learn to play your favorite songs, show you quick tips to make playing easier, and help you get through the tough spots to make practice fun.

More Experienced Players

I can help you add nuance and flash to your playing, making your songs more «musical». I can show you how to use scales and theory to jam or write great songs. I can also help you with technique to improve your speed and tone while making playing easier.

Performers

I can help you get THAT SOUND. I can show you how to build confidence and stage presence. I can assist you in taking what you already know to make your own music out of it and I can help you refine your songs and solos, making them the best they can be.

I’d like to talk with you and see if my teaching would be a good fit for what you need.

Meet the Business Owner

Bryan W.

Business Owner

Hi,

I’ve been playing music for 25 years and teaching for 15. I’ve been living in Brooklyn since 2003, originally from South Carolina.

I started on clarinets and saxophones, playing for 4 years, then quit to teach myself guitar.

I played solo, led bands, toured the Southeast and released 3 albums of original music and then wanted to learn more so I could play the music I heard in my head.

I then studied with my teacher, Robert Newton, in Columbia, SC for 5 years. Robert immediately declared that I was a teacher and began teaching me to be an instructor.

I found that i love helping people play guitar and I’m still helping people to this day.
