Came here when this place first opened a couple months back on a Saturday and it was super crowded! However, came here this past weekend on Sat and it was a ghost town. Not sure what happened between then and now? They charged me and my group a cover, only to walk into an empty room, why would you do that? The place is empty and your making people pay to go inside? I was looking to spend money and make the most of the night with our group but we quickly got turned off by the cover and valet charge. The crowd was also different than I last remember, wasn’t the same vibe. Not sure what happened, definitely not my type of scene. It’s a shame because the place seemed like it had nice potential when it first opened. But now, it seems like a ghost town from what we saw, no bueno Coco Bongo.

Went there last weekend with a couple of friends and had drinks at the bar. We have not heard about this place before and we enjoyed our night, the staff was very friendly, had one too many shots. The décor is modern and different we are sick of the same boring places in queens, I wish they had live shows tho…

I was here this past weekend showed up around 1130pm no issues coming in, small line moved quickly once inside not crowded but within 30 – 45 minutes the place got packed. Entrance fee was $ 10 definitely not bad includes a drink ticket since they seem to have a one drink minimum? Don’t recall seeing this rule much but let’s face it one drink is nothing for most people. While u pay you exchange your ticket for a drink card & if u have a coat it’s a mandatory check in kinda annoying that it’s mandatory but it was only $ 3 dollars so not bad at least they don’t try to rip u off with this one. Drink cards are only good for house liquor not top shelf not terrible depending on what u choose to get, For our drinks we had Grey goose & Cranberry & Ciroc Coconut w pineapple juice drinks were good, nice & decent. Mid night we got shots with our cards, ended up getting Cuervo 1800 Silver, shots come in a pretty large shot glass I gotta say I was surprised to see that it was decent size, good shots. As for the place itself I like the set up, nice open space to dance, not too big with seating area for bottle service in the surrounding area, I like the bar set up that being elevated & a few steps away from the dance floor always a plus when u don’t have to get through the crowds to reach the bar. I believe this is supposed to be a Spanish club? Not 100% sure tho … On this night they had some Spanish station promoting which of course led to a lot of Spanish music not terrible if u enjoy Spanish music like that I prefer a mix. DJ didn’t play a good variety, they did play some reggaeton & house music which I was surprised but with both it wasn’t a lot just a few songs. Music wise not terrible depends on how u look at it, would be nice if the DJ wasn’t yapping so much I’ve always found this to be so annoying. As of now this place seems to be cash only, hopefully this will be something that they change not very convenient. Service at the bar was good, drink prices were $ 12 for the mixed drinks. Little bit of a Mixed crowd & Aside from the lack of mixed music, this place was alright we had fun.

I would give 0 stars if i could… got the gold package… which included 2 bottles, 1 champagne and cupcakes… that was the package. We got the 2 bottles.. had to speak to the waitress about the champagne. Which at first she told us we didnt order a package so we wouldnt be getting it. But when i told her i have the receipt she remembered we had ordered a package. She brought us the champagne. And brought the next table the cupcakes. When i asked her about our cupcakes she just said they didnt have… worst service ever and i have gotten bottle packages at other places before. They think you will be too drunk to remember what you are supposed to get but guess what there are certain people who will remember! Because we paid for it!!! And btw we bought extra bottles! Also they make you think it is packed by making you wait in a long line outside althought it is empty inside. 9 of us were inside and had 2 friends outside… they made them wait and wouldnt let them in unless they were part of a bottle package… mind you while we were inside it was dead… empty…

Went to Coco Bongo 4÷25÷15. It was posted online that«everyone free all night» with«drink minimum required». Not sure what a drink minimum means, but we learned that inside when they asked for $ 20 cash only for the«two free drinks» before 12am. Kinda ridiculous that ladies must pay before 12am, but I guess this is new club protocol. Coat check was mandatory cash only $ 3.Went to bar to redeem drink asked bartender for menu like I was told by the cashier up front. Bartender said the selection was beer or mixed drinks with no brand name alcohol. So when I asked what rum they are using since it won’t be Barcardi or Captain Morgan I got no response. I got a rum coke tasted like nasty medicine. I mean I can make the drink better at home for less than $ 10. Went back for second drink I selected orange juice and vodka which tasted better. I think the options were limited especially for ladies who would spend $ 10 for mixed drink anyway with real alcohol! I am usually not cheap and leave tips for the bartenders, but cause they had a pre-selected menu why should I pay them a tip! Plus last time I was at Mets/Yanks stadium a bottle of beer was like around $ 7 which is less than $ 10, so rip off! The layout was typical club style. My only concern was the standing tables in the center of the dance floor. Music was a good mix and was changed every 15 minutes or so. Seems like a lot of the Latinos in the room don’t like party music and didn’t want to dance. Don’t mislead your costumers, especially when you just opened! I know you need a cash flow, but be clear on your ads online. Anyway this place has a lot of potential & next time I’ll just do guest list and drink at Sunrisa Bar next door for«real drinks» I can select on my own.
