I’ve been sending them 5 shirts and 1 – 2 pants a week for two years. What I need from a cleaner service:
— Correctly wash my clothes (obviously)
— Pick up and delivery
— Fast and reliable
— Not destroy or lose my stuff
— Competitive prices
So far, City View has checked all those boxes for me.
I had tried a couple other cleaners back when I used to live in the Upper West Side and always got cracked buttons in my shirts. These guys have only cracked one in two years.
As long as they keep it up, the’ll keep getting my business.

I’ve been going here for years… since Liz’s dry cleaning place on Vernon shut down and became the bike store. (What was the name of that place?)
I’ve never had a problem. They usually remember me, and the stuff is always ready when they say it will be. They’ve gone out of their way for me many times for a quicker turnaround.

Great spot. Good service, good prices and good people. They always remember you and don’t mind talking. I bring all of our clothes here. Best cleaners in LIC by far. They’re spot in with their work and their time frames and if you tell them you really need it sooner for some reason, they go out of their way to take care of it and never charge a penny more. We’ve got a different cleaner in our building (which is across the street) and I avoid it at all costs. They’re rude, overpriced and always late with your clothes.

I cannot stand this place. I have gone here twice to try and get clothes altered, and both times they had some sort of excuse. I went in the morning and their seamstress wasn’t there, and she’s not there on the weekends, so forget it if you work a normal 9 – 5 job.
The second time, they were doing some sort of electrical work. Maybe I have bad luck, but the guy wasn’t nice to me about it. I said «uh I guess I will have to come back later» and he laughed and said, «uh, yeah». Like I’m an idiot or something. Seriously… I went across the street to Absolute Cleaners. No problems there.
