Recently opened in late 2014, this contemporary gallery is run by a wife and husband duo who are artists & art professionals themselves. They’re well educated & well traveled and it shows in the care of their space, exhibition decisions, writing, interactions with artists & visitors, humor, collaboration, attention to detail, and just plain old enthusiasm.
The gallery is a nice addition to Queen’s art scene. In a sleepy industrial area bordering Sunnyside and Long Island City– next to the Sculpture Center studios and not far from LaGuardia Community College (excellent art program), Aviation High School, and of course Natural Tofu House & Baruir’s Coffee.
FYI– By Appointment Only. There’s opening receptions every few months.
