We specialize in Capoeira, the first Afro Brazilian Martial Art. We are the first to establish the art in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We have one of the best kids programs on the Jersey Shore! (ages 4 to 11) The art, with a strong element of martial art hidden within dance-​like movements, acrobatics, and agility was discovered in the era of Colonial slavery in Brazil practiced by African slave on plantations. Nowadays it has proven itself to be a great addition to all fitness programs and martial arts because of its high calorie burning, aerobic and anaerobic qualities, agility, hand eye coordination, stamina, core, upper and lower body development and actually a lot of fun and social networking.

Established in 2002.

The business was created in mind of exposing Afro Brazilian culture to the area but became an established part of the community doing presentations and becoming a grand part of the children’s community programs with fitness and fun as the goal.

Kasey S.

Business Owner

Baiano (aka Kasey S) has been part of the community and teaching this art for more than 2 decades. His compassion for fitness and health awareness has brought him to expose Capoeira to many local and international venues. As a musician and a martial artist with backgrounds in many disciplines, he breaks down the elements of the art for beginners to advanced and teaches the theories behind the instruments and music played in Capoeira. He is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish and also is a Certified Personal Trainer
