For 30 years the Academy of Dance Arts has provided quality dance training for students of all ages & levels.
We offer the area’s best dance training including Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Tap & Pilates.
History
Established in 1985.
Founded by Jennifer Church, The Academy started with about 150 students in a 3 story walk up on Monmouth Street. Word spread about the quality of dance training offered at the Academy and by 1996, with more than 500 students, the Academy had outgrown its location and moved into 10,000 square feet at 59 Chestnut street. In 2008, Mrs. Church passed the position of artistic director on to Nicholas and Shayne Mishoe. Mr. and Mrs. Mishoe relocated the Academy in 2014 and continue the tradition of excellence at the Academy’s new state of the art facility at 70 Apple Street in Tinton Falls.
