I had Mason and the team from Wright Way complete a room addition as well as add a bath and install new copper plumbing. My experience has been excellent as the workmanship is very good, and the people that we have had working on our project have been even better.
I work in a service based industry and I value the client experience, and I could not have asked for a better outcome than the one I have had. Mason’s project based /​team approach ensures that you will have easy access to people entrusted with the care of your home. Heladio, who was our PM, is fantastic to work with as he is very pleasant, attentive, and extremely knowledgable in residential construction.
I would definitely recommend Wright Way Builders and I will certainly use them again for any upcoming projects that I may have.

Wright Way Builders came recommended to us by a colleague who just went through a renovation with them. Mason, the owner, came out to our property and looked at what we wanted to do and promptly gave us an estimate, which we thought was reasonable compared to other contractors we looked at. After the bid was accepted, we only communicated with Heladio, the foreman for the project. It was an extensive project, which included gutting 2.5 baths and a kitchen. The project was to take 3 months, but ended up taking 5 – 5.5 months in total. Most of the delay, however, was due to delay of the windows we ordered. The time frame also included final inspection and follow-​up items to get passed inspection. Throughout the project, we did not come across any big surprises. We had two change orders throughout the entire renovation and because we felt they were reasonable, we went ahead with the changes.
We enjoyed working with Heladio. He has great work ethics and is always professional. He always addressed questions and concerns we had either via email or phone. Although some things were done incorrectly, they were promptly fixed after we pointed them out. We are very happy with the overall quality of work — our kitchen and bathrooms came out beautifully done.
We did a final walkthrough with Heladio prior to our final payment. The guys came back right away the following day to address the touch up finishes discussed during the final walkthrough. Overall, Heladio and his team did a great job on this project and we couldn’t be happier with our new home!

This company was highly recommended to us by my father in law who has had majority of his remodeling done by Wright Way Builders. I spoke to a Vanessa who answered all my questions and went and is going above and beyond to meet our needs. Business professionals like her make you want to continue your projects with Wright Way Builders.

I called to schedule an estimate for a bathroom remodel, and was told that they only work Mon-​Fri until 4pm. After explaining that I work and need either an evening or weekend appointment, I was told, «Like I said, we only work Mon-​Fri until 4pm». Doesn’t sound like they are all that interested in new business. Snarky receptionist to boot. No thanks.

Unfortunately I have to write a bad review cuz I never made it to the construction phase… I never even got an estimate Helaido came to look at the job. Kitchen remodel. We talked about what I wanted and after he left he said he would email me an estimate in two days. Never received an estimated. I even followed up with an email to him and still no response. Customer service the «wrong way».

Couldnt even get a call back for a 2 bathroom remodel project. Dissapointing… onto the next company who returns messages

I’ve heard plenty of horror stories from my other people that a good contractor is hard to find because they can never stay on budget and the job is never completed when promised. So instead of picking a contractor that was recommended by a friend of mine (even though they were the cheaper bid) I pick Wright Way Builders based on prior Unilocal reviews. I’m so happy I did because our remodel was a very good experience and finished very close to the original timeline. I added a master bedroom, walk-​in closet, bathroom, central heating & A/​C, and refinished my original hardwood floors. The people that work for Wright Way all know each other and work very efficient with a high level of professionalism. Mason bid the job very fairly and was very detailed, unlike other bids I received. Heladio was the project manager and gave me full visibility of the progress and obstacles that they encountered. Over all they have great people that make the experience smooth considering the circumstance of having your house turned upside down for 2 months. Eric the plumber knew what he was doing and only used top quality material, which is great when I didn’t even know the difference and it was not noted on the bid. The guys who did the framing of the house knocked in out in a few days, incredible! The house is complete and I am extremely happy with the quality of the workmanship and the professionalism that Heladio and his team delivered.

After a slew of negative experiences with contractors, working with Wright Way Builders was a fantastic experience right from the start. Mason, the owner, responded to our inquiry quickly and came out to look at the house. He was fantastic to work with and communicated very quickly. He understood our needs and worked diligently to collaborate with us. We very very quickly decided to hire the company to do a bathroom redo and kitchen counter-​top replacement. Everyone was very clear in their instructions every step of the way and were quick to help and adapt to our needs and ideas. Heladio was our Project Manager and he was fantastic. Vanessa in the office kept us updated at every step of the process. I cannot say enough great things about them and hope to hire them again for future projects!

The owner, Mason was prompt and polite when he came out to give me an estimate. He understood my budget constraints and provided pricing for two different options. One option relocated my kitchen and added a bedroom and bathroom. The other just remodeled my kitchen. (In hindsight, I wish I would have gone with the bigger project because the finished product was so nice). I went with Wright Way because of Mason. He listened to my ideas — pointed out potential problems and made helpful suggestions keeping in mind my budget. There was no pressure. Other contractors I met with seemed either to blow me off due to my budget or seemed to want to do their design.
The project was to take 4 weeks (20 business day), but it actually took about 6 weeks. From talking to neighbors — this is normal and in the scope of things wasn’t too bad.
One area that they could improve on is communication. My project manager changed throughout the project. I had 3 different project manager, plus a cabinet designer, so never really knew who to talk to when there were problems/​questions. Thankfully Vanessa, who works in the office, was easy to reach and always helpful.
On the plus side — I wanted stone counter tops and Mason worked these into the price. I also wanted drawers instead of cabinets on my lowers and he worked this into the design and my budget as well. Their tile person was really good and my floors and backsplash came out exactly as I pictured it in my head.
They were on time and always cleaned up after themselves. They put up a great barrier so that we could keep the dust out of the rest of the house and keep the dogs out of the work area.
Some of the negatives were that I felt I needed to check the work each night. I felt there were times that things were done incorrectly (not as I had requested). However, when I pointed them out they were usually fixed quickly. I wish there had been more interaction/​discussion with the project manager before work was completed. For example: the placement of electrical outlets and light switches — I wish I could have talked these through with someone before they were installed.
I think the most important thing I can say is that they were always patient and polite. I didn’t realize how stressful remodeling is. There are so many decisions to make, your routines are changed, and things are out of place. And, with a kitchen you’re eating out or living on microwave food. Plus, if you’re on a tight budget you worry about costs. Again, their patience was really important. They always listened to my concerns and worked hard to alleviate my concerns.
The finished project turned out beautiful. Our kitchen is our favorite room in the house. I’m now trying to save money so I can have them back to do my main bathroom and my back porch.

This is the first time we had Wright Way builder to fully remodel our master bathroom. My experience has been wonderful with them. Mason the owner who came in and give us a bid for the project and fully understand what we are trying to accomplish. Heladio is the PM and very responsive with all our question and concern and address them very quickly. We fully tear everything out from the old bathroom and put in new vanity/​tile/​marble top… etc. Thanks to their top notch quality work, we turned our 20 yr old master bathroom into a contemporary style modern bathroom. Their price is very reasonable their crew is also very polite and clean up everyday after they finish the day’s work. I never has to worry about any clean up after their work.
We are so happy with their work and already planning to have them come back and remodel our kitchen and do the room addition project. I definitely recommend to use them for any kind of remodel project. They are worth every single penny !!!

This is the second time my wife and I hired Wright Way builders. First they remodeled our kitchen /​living room to create an open floor plan and doubled our counter space. This time we added on to the home in creating a master bedroom and bath retreat. These guys come to work everyday and when they give you a time frame they stick to it. They utilize their project managers very well. Mason is the owner who bids the jobs and helps with design and signs off on the end product but the project managers are there everyday walking the job through from start to finish with you. Heladio was our PM for the add on and Ed was our PM for the kitchen, both guys do a great job. We will continue to recommend Wright Way and we’ll be working with them for our next job as well.

We had a very positive experience working with Wright Way. The crew, the pricing, and the process were surprisingly refreshing after our previous experience with other contractors. We hired Wright Way to take down a load bearing wall, do a complete kitchen remodel, and to replace a few doors and windows. We are VERY pleased with the end result!
We were especially grateful for the hard work and expertise of our foreman, Heladio, and his crew. They were professional and considerate, while doing fantastic work. They always arrived bright and early and worked throughout the day. They seemed invested in the job and did everything they could to make sure we were happy and that it turned out perfectly. They even worked extra hard to match our timeline (baby arrival!). Heladio was our hero!
I highly recommend Wright Way and we plan/​hope to work with them on future renovations in our home. There were no hidden fees or mysteries, and they were trustworthy from start to finish. We met with many contractors before hiring Wright Way and found that their pricing was very reasonable. The price was less but the quality of work was superior to other contractors we’ve worked with.

My wife and I recently completed a kitchen remodel and room addition with Wright Way Builders on our small 1950’s 2Bd/​1Ba Lakewood home. Overall it was a positive experience and we are very pleased. There were challenges along the way, but the team at Wright Way worked hard to find suitable solutions.
Contact/​Responsiveness: Good
After leaving two voicemails we received a call back from Vanessa. She is professional and kind, but direct and to the point. After advising her of the work I needed done, Mason (the owner) came to my home within and a few days and provided an estimate. We also interviewed two other contractors. Wright Way was not the lowest bid but Mason was confident he could give us what we wanted and in a very reasonable time frame (30 – 45 days). Throughout the project, we had no issues getting in touch with Vanessa or our project manager, Heladio. The only minor complaint was receiving receipts on time.
Project Manager: Great
Heladio was a true professional throughout the entire project. He was patient, timely and communicative. Your happiness is his greatest priority. We were VERY picky clients and he never trivialized our concerns. We had a few issues with two of the subcontractors (leaving a mess behind and a scratched/​dented window), but he dealt with the issues promptly and brought them to a satisfactory resolution. He was on-​site several days a week and kept us up-​to-​date on the progress and what to expect next. He always returned calls and text messages. The bottom line is that Heladio cares that his clients are satisfied.
Quality of Work: Good
Our framers, Josh and crew, were excellent. They were the consummate professionals. They completed the demolition of an old patio structure + concrete, poured the foundation and framed the entire addition within two weeks. Also, they installed 4 windows and french doors and built our deck in one day. They were respectful, timely, and cleaned up after themselves. They were, hands down, the best subcontractor.
The electricians were good and made several changes to accommodate our ever changing needs in the kitchen and addition.
The Ikea kitchen cabinet installer was fast and friendly. He does B+ work so if you see something wrong and ask for it to be fixed, he will. But if you say nothing, he will leave it that way.
The plumber and stucco man were fair. When installing the dishwasher, the drain tubing was left very loose causing a leak that we didn’t catch until 2 days later. The base cabinet bottom under the sink remains water damaged, but serviceable. We did not inform Wright Way. Additionally, one of the water valves underneath the sink was defective and Wright Way came to replace it a couple weeks after the project was over. The stucco man was careless with our new windows, but as mentioned above, his errors were corrected by Heladio and crew.
The drywall and painters were great as well. They did more than we asked and were very professional.
The floor guy was phenomenal. He restored our original 1950’s wood floors to their original beauty and installed matching floors in the hall and kitchen/​dining room. His ability to weave old wood with new to create a seamless floor was impressive.
Overall:
Wright Way is a solid choice. They are a legitimate contractor and will execute your vision. For us, the end result was a seamless dining room addition that looks like it was always a part of the house and a beautifully executed kitchen remodel. I highly recommend Wright Way if you are looking for a contractor to remodel your home.

After I left a 1 star review, I promptly received a call from Mason, apologizing for the communications glitch. Mason was prompt in putting together a proposal and based on the positive reviews and my sense that Mason was highly motivated to do this project I chose Wright Way to remodel our kitchen and bathroom, remove some walls, add a bathroom and to have other miscellaneous small jobs done. Although Mason closed the sale, we never saw him or heard from him afterwards and when we sent emails to him it was Heladio that responded. Wright Way does a lot of flips and I assume Mason is more focused on that part of the business.
Our home was built in 1938, which has its plusses and minuses. Everything was very well built with high grade materials, but sometimes finding crown moulding and baseboard trim to match is challenging. Heladio was the supervisor for our project and he really went the extra mile to be accommodating and searched high and far to find materials that matched as closely as possible.
Heladio was fantastically patient and accommodating with us, despite the fact that we are pretty picky people. He always stayed calm and tried to find satisfactory solutions. There were no doubt times where we were probably requesting things that he could have said «Sorry, that’s not in the contract.» but he never did. The workers were all very nice, polite, ethical and trustworthy.
Our project took longer than expected. Some of this was attributable to us, some to the fact that a beam that was installed per approved building plans but later deemed not long enough by the city inspector, and some was probably attributable to the crew being busy with other projects.
We had a few issues along the way, such as our mantle accidentally being demo’d, the wrong color grout being used and the finish maybe not being as precise as we would have liked. But issues always come up in construction projects and I think Heladio and his team were always working to try to make us happy.

I contacted Wright Way Builders through Houzzz regarding a full kitchen and bath remodel. Several days later Vanessa contacted me to discuss the project and indicated they would be interested in working with me. We confirmed date/​time for Heladio to come to my home to discuss the project and to take measurements.
I received several email confirmations from Vanessa prior to the actual date.
Heladio showed up within the confirmed time, we discussed the project, he took a few measurements and pictures. I thought it was odd that he did not write down any of the measurements, or sketch out the floor plan of the kitchen or bath
Heladio told me to give him a few days, and he would call me back to schedule an appointment to review the estimate.
I never received a call back. (it’s been over three weeks)
I reached out to Vanessa to follow-​up on my estimate/​project review. No communication back from her either

We used Wright Way Builders for a bathroom remodel and are very satisfied with the experience. Mason came to our house to evaluate the job and develop the bid. He was helpful during that process and good to work with. Although we had a general idea of what we wanted to do, some of the details we were not 100% on and he helped us iron out some of those details where we were fuzzy.
The work was scheduled and the workers showed up promptly each day. Jose was our foreman and he kept the whole process rolling along smoothly. With these remodels there are always some unexpected twists and Jose and his team were able to adjust and keep things going. Everyone was great to work with. They kept things organized from beginning to end.
In the end the transformation of this bathroom was pretty dramatic, going from a dated, run down ‘70s look to something that is fresh and new (and also something we’re actually happy to have guests see). Thanks guys for doing a great job.

Wow. Just called here to be told they could not help me.
I recently bought a townhouse and need some work done — entire house needs floors replaced and bathrooms need to be redone in addition to some wall work in the dining room.
When I explained what I wanted done in the bathroom I was spoken to NOT very nicely, mind you… that Wright Way ONLY works on remodels. «If you want to us to just replace a vanity we don’t do that.» Hmmmm… ok, so I guess, cutting and tearing out an old fiberglass shower and completely replacing it with something new and improved doesn’t count? Then doing the floors around them and the toilets. Doing the same of an old fiberglass bathtub? Tearing out all carpet — putting in new baseboards– painting… tearing up a wall… hmmmmmm…ok…
You know, if the job doesn’t sound big enough — just say the job probably isn’t big enough for the company at this time. Or just say you don’t have enough time for the job! Not a big deal! Do not talk to people like they are 5 years old and don’t know what «remodel» means. Obnoxious!

Wright way builders were excellent. They remodeled my kitchen, which included the following: new Quartz countertops, backsplash, extractor hood, new appliances, backsplash, stained cabinets, new cabinet pulls, recessed and pendant lighting.
The crew that worked on my home was amazing. They focused on all the small details and made sure everything came out perfect. They were very responsive to all the emails I sent throughout the renovation process. I would definitely use them again for a future project.
I contacted a few contractors for estimates. Mason wright way builders provided the most competitive estimate. I think I would have been able to find a better price if I kept searching, but I don’t regret a thing given the quality of the work and customer service provided.

Unfortunately Disappointed!
Phoned WWBC this morning to get an estimate on crown molding for three areas in my condo after reading the great reviews on Unilocal.
I was told by Vanessa that they are NOT taking on any smaller jobs at this point.
What they didn’t know is after this job, I was remodeling my bathroom and then kitchen. One thing at a time.

We hired Wright Way Builders for our kitchen remodel after meeting with the owner, Mason Wright. We couldn’t be happier. The following is a list of the work they did:
Removed 3 load barring walls and replaced them with flush beams
Replaced and relocated our hot water heater outside
Added an HVAC system
Demolished the old kitchen
Installed new kitchen cabinets
Installed crown molding on cabinets

Wright Way Builders worked on our remodel while we were on vacation. We felt comfortable having them in our home while we were away and, Mason kept us updated on the progress by sending pictures and emails to keep us in the loop.
Mason and his crew did a spectacular job! Mason honored our original design but wasn’t afraid to make suggestions — a number of which we agreed to and are very happy we did. They made our Ikea cabinets look custom. He responded to us in a timely manner, stuck to his estimated bid, didn’t add on any extra costs (other than the add-​ons we requested and approved), and he even added crown molding to our entire living room and painted it at no charge. We have already referred Wright Way Builders to all of our friends and we will definitely use them again for any future work we have done on our home. We are 100% happy with the end result!
