In all honesty I got what I expected. Americanized, overly sauced and sweetened pseudo-Asian food. And it was good lol. I’ll start off by saying that our waitress Angela was a sweetheart and very attentive to our table. We ordered Pad See Ew, chicken fried rice, BBQ chicken and pineapple curry. All told $ 37. Not bad. Kids liked just about everything. And they got to find Nemo a few times in the big fish tank.

The food here is awesome. Not only is the food awesome but the hospitality is even more amazing. We walked in 20 mins before thy closed and they helped us anyways. We insisted that we didn’t want to in-convince them and they still made sure we got good food. The owners son was so delightful and chatted with us about all their fish in their fish tank. We defiantly will be returning. My man loves their bbq Beef ribs.

Found them because of Unilocal It’s almost bad I live so close because now I will be coming too often. The pad see eew with chicken is so good and they have the best crushed ice for drinks personally I love it with Thai tea or a Coke

Called the order in before coming to this place, it’s ready to be served when we get there, very professional. I was able to get a free thai iced tea upon checked in Unilocal

Got the beef pad see ew and it’s not bad overall, but I felt like it was a little too sweet and a little heavy on the sauce for my taste. My bf on the other hand said he really enjoyed it. We got a free Thai tea drink with Unilocal check in but your order has to be at least $ 15 in order to get it. The portions are filling and neither of us finished our plates we had to take it to go. After finishing, we both agreed that one was enough to fill both of us and usually he is a big eater. The pricing here is about average for Thai food but they do offer lunch specials as well but it’s not a lot of options though. It was super hot inside because there was no AC, only a couple of ceiling fans. On the bright side they do free delivery within a 4 mile radius. There was a sign that said no outside food or drinks allowed but we walked in with Starbucks drinks in our hand because we didn’t see the sign until we left the restaurant but the lady was nice and didn’t say anything to us. She still greeted us friendly and said thanks for coming after we left.

Late at night. HANGRY and in need of food. Pineapple fried rice hit the spot! So good! The rice is flavored perfectly. Pineapples are sweet but not overpowering. Cashews added a nice crunch. Will be back for more!!!

Walked in at 9pm on the dot and instead of greeting us the rude lady behind the counter greeted us by saying they close at 930. Umm, ok? It’s 9? Is that not adequate time? «No I was just telling you so you know that we close at 9:30.» Ok so do you want to serve me or not? We get seated. I order 2 s-8’s, and ask to use the Thai tea check in. Ok so I check in, write the small review and she walks away in the middle of it to rush and put our orders in. She comes back and asks to see that I have used the check in and obviously I show her and she very condescendingly doesn’t believe me and insists to see my phone and she still walked away unsatisfied maybe because she didn’t know what to look for? I’m not sure. A few mins after another couple walked in and wanted to dine in and they were met with similar tone. She handed us the check at 9:22 and immediately demanded the payment before we even finished. Quality is the same as Cerritos location more or less, but the service is much better in Cerritos and we will not be returning to this location again. There’s too many good Thai spots in LB to not get good service.

We were looking for a quick place to eat with decent food after a long day. We just moved to LB and have been exploring the various restaurants, so we literally just happened upon this place after driving around for a while and hunger finally getting the better of us. I wasn’t too sure about it when we first walked in as its a small place in an old retail strip. It’s a little dingy and out dated, but don’t let it fool you. The food was great and the portion sizes make it well worth your money. I had a simple plate of chicken fried rice, which was no nonsense and delicious and my boyfriend had the rad nar, which was perfect.

Driving through the LBC not knowing what I wanted to eat I passed by Thai BBQ and kept driving. The place stayed in my mind so three miles down the road I came back glad I did. I ordered the beef pad see ew and it was wonderful! Fresh perfectly quick cooked broccoli with lots go meat and noodles. There was so much delicious gravy they had to serve it in a bowl. Portion was huge! I need to and will go back quite a few more times to try other dishes. My rating will probably move to to five stars when I do.

Really good marinated chicken and rib BBQ. S1 and S2 are my girlfriend and I’s go to dish in here. We tried the Pad Thai today and it was delicious too. I’m betting their other dishes are amazing as well. The customer service is great cause I checked in on Unilocal and said I have a promotional free Thai tea if we dine in there but we order our food to go. Our server still gave our Thai tea for free. Definitely will come back again and again lol

I have been coming to this restaurant for a while now and always order the BBQ Chicken with brown rice instead of shrimp fried rice and it also come with a side salad. There is nothing wrong with their shrimp fried rice, however i just prefer the brown rice which they charge extra for. But today(02.01.2015) I tried their Noodle Soup with thinly sliced beef(5.95) and have to say this was pretty good. It came with either thin or flat noodle that have bean sprout and the thinly slice meat which was full of garlic flavor. I wished it had more but for 5.95 it was a good. Usually like i said, i always stick with the BBQ chicken combo. It comes with two or three big pieces of chicken, huge amount of brown rice with a dipping sauce and a side salad. the BBQ chicken just falls off the bone. On the side note, each time I been here, its always pretty dead. Usually, there is one other table seated. I guess its good thing for me since its not busy, so there really never a wait. To add on, you would seat your self at a open table. Another thing is, service has always been great. The waitress is always attentive to us and nice. As a final point, they have good food and good service.

I’ve dined in their locations in LA and Glendale, but this location is better for take out. Staff is very friendly(Sammy is amazing!) and attentive, but the décor and ambiance leaves little to be desired. Stick with the BBQ chicken and spareribs w/extra chilli sauce on the side, and you won’t be disappointed. Portions are generous and come with shrimp fried rice. Stay away from the tom yum soup. Unlike typical tom yum soups, somehow their broth had a very fishy after taste and very bare basic ingredients. It almost seemed as if they just took old broth, threw in some tom yum flavoring, pre boiled chicken, mushrooms, and called it a day.

This place is now one of my to-go places when my mommy wants me to buy Thai food! Big portions, and I haven’t had any complaints as of recent. Food quality has remained consistently good. When I call to do a take out, the food is ready in 15 minutes. That’s pretty fast in my opinion.

I have been going to this place and ordering a mixed S-8(Chicken and Beef Sate) since I only knew of one location in Carson. So happy this one is closer to me! Their peanut sauce is the best I’ve had at any restaurant and the pink rice with shrimp that comes with the sate is amazing. The actual restaurant looks like it may have been a fast food place in a previous lifetime, but order this to go and you have a perfect date night at home!

I’ve been here before, as well as the other location in Cerritos many times. After a conversation about their stellar Pork Ribs(S-2), I had those bad boys on my mind for weeks. Sure, the ambience may not be as swanky as the Cerritos location, but their food is definitely on par. Seriously, just try their Pork Ribs. It is a dish I believe everyone should try once in a Lifetime. Their Pad See Ew is also another dish you shouldn’t miss; however, they do have their off days when making it. One problem I had was the server’s response when I asked for more sauce, to which she responded, «yeah, you have the sauce.» It was a to go order, and the little thimble they supplied was enough to quench my thirst for amazing flavor.

I like Thai food. In fact, Thai food ranks second(tied with Japanese) on my list of cuisines. So, one day, while off site with a coworker, pulled up Unilocal and found this place nearby. Ample parking in the lot or on the street. That was nice considering I’m used to prowling the streets praying for a space or just forking over some coins to pay for metered parking. And the place was empty! So, i figured we’d have excellent service and we’d be in and out so we could get back to doing nothing at work. I was wrong Service was not very good. In fact, when I asked for my dish(Drunken Noodles) to be Thai spicy — I was denied. Not only was I denied, she politely encouraged me to take it was it was served as it was delicious, full of flavor and already very hot. She was cute — she even told me that I wouldn’t be able to handle the spiciness level that they served. The wait for our order made me wonder if my fellow coworkers had sent out a search party. As we sat, business did pick up however, we did place our order before the bulk of the crowd arrived. At least the dishes were served fresh and hot. You probably guessed it but the spiciness level didn’t even make my lips tingle. The flavor was decent however, I was really craving a level that would make paint peel itself off. My friends dish(wish I had taken a picture) looked okay however, just dry. He opted for a chicken dish and it looked like it was overcooked. Anyway — the gripe I had about this location was the temperature. It was a little chilly out as the marine layer pretty much hovered all day long — and every time the door opened a blast of cool air made me wish I was wearing thermals — and there didn’t seem to be any heating system in the place. Makes me wonder if there’s a cooling system and how it might be in the warmer summer months. I didn’t mind my dish though next time I won’t back down from my request. After all, I am the customer. And I’ll remember to keep spare winter gear in my car just in case …
