Don’t ask for a large iced Thai tea because you’ll literally get a large cup full of ice. Horrible service and the guy at the desk did not want to give me another one. I am very upset with his level of customer service. They didn’t care whether you were happy or dissatisfied with the quality of the food/drink. The guy was slender around 5’10 light skinned with NOCOMMONSENSE and soft spoken with broken English.

So I ordered for delivery today and I got 4 items the spicy spaghetti(thinking it would taste like noodle worlds) but not even close the beef larb which I felt lacked the signature lime grass flavor. The yellow chicken curry which was powered by coconut milk and a large Thai tea which probably would be the only thing I’d ever order from there again. I was truly disappointed everything lacked flavor… I thought if I got a variety of things I would enjoy a nice lunch but now I’m regretting choosing this spot rather than going somewhere familiar. Sorry but I had to be honest… First time ordering here and probably the last… :($ 37 wasted because nothing was appetizing super sad!

Recently remodeled exterior. This has long been my favorite delivery spot. The BBQ Dinner is excellent. The Pad Key Mow Is good. The war wanton soup is good as well I could go on Wings of angel, shrimp of angel … Even coconut ice cream ! Now I am hungry again. Good thing that deliver. You can order by phone, on line, in person. BTW the dinning room is not fancy but clean and good service.

Never had a horrible lunch special like this. Their chicken is just dry. Fried rice has no flavor. For $ 8 lunch special I would prefer to go to any other chinese lunch special for more and tastier food.

Ordered in for delivery, pretty much the fried rice was good. The dumplings were soggy, the shrimp was rubbery. The pad thai(medium) was tasteless, I dumped chilli sauce on it. Here is the best though, when I asked for limes on the side. they give you lime/lemon juice(?) in a cup. No thanks, even my friend said the soy sauce packets tasted a little off. For 30 bucks we had the mongolian beef(super dry) and pad thai(dry chicken, no shrimp) and the 2 dumplings and shrimp that it came with. YUCKY, and disappointed. Too many other options to try again.

The food is good but service is terrible. They used to take about an hour to deliver but now it averages around an hour and a half at best. Its not worth it. Order from somewhere else and save yourself the hassle.

This is one of the few places outside of LA and Burbank where the Thai food is excellent. They deliver too!

I had the orange chicken lunch special, great portion for a good deal. My delivery was free of charge with a $ 10 food minimum; even better! The large Thai Tea was only $ 2.50! Very delicious :)

I ordered dinner from Thai Charcoal Pit through the Eat24 app. As soon as I submitted my order, Eat24 sent me a notification with my delivery time. I ordered the Pad See Ew and a thai tea, and I really like both items. Both had a very large portion size, so I was able to have leftovers. The Pad See Ew had great flavor(not too salty or bland) and I really enjoyed the meal I ordered. The reason for a lower rating comes from the delivery. My order arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes past the estimated time! I understand that things can happen that can delay orders, but the restaurant did not let me know that my order would be so late, and said nothing about their lateness when they delivered my order. I know lot’s of people did not experience this problem, so maybe it was just a busy night for them, but it would have been nice if they simply updated me. Even though I didn’t have the best delivery experience, the food was great.

Food is alright but really convenient whenever I need takeout. I’m big on Grub Hub! I ordered the papaya salad with a side of sticky rice. It took pretty much a 30 mins to an hour to get to my house(which was the norm) but when I finally received my phone and sat down and got ready to eat it, I realized my side of sticky rice was missing! I ordered about 2 hours before I had gone into work so I could have lunch at home. Anyway, so I had called the restaurant and told them that my food didn’t come with sticky rice that I had ordered and they stated that the driver must have forgotten. There was a little silence over the phone because I thought he was going to say something like, «Oh, we’ll refund you!» or something but nothing. so I asked him what could they do because I didn’t plan on eating the papaya salad without my sticky rice. I told them I had work in a little over an hour and a half so I would need my sticky rice ASAP; they said that he wouldn’t make it and at this point, I got really upset with them so they said that they would call the driver and see what they could do because there was only one driver at the time. I stated that was fine. They called me back about 20 minutes later saying that he would be there in about 10 minutes. …He literally took a half an hour. I figured, but the least he could have done was just to be honest about how long it would take! I barely got to eat any of my food; I took the rest for lunch at my job but pretty much worked throughout the day with an empty stomach. So two stars for the bad customer service and the lack of sympathy.

Wow, I just love this place so much. I’ve ordered from here, and dined-in a bit more than I probably should have, but let’s get onto the review. The staff for one are just exceptional! They are polite in person and over the phone, and very thorough in everything they do. They are incredibly prompt on their delivery times, and the food is always hot and fresh. Seriously, sometimes I have to wait for it to cool down because it’s so hot and fresh tasting. If you deliver, know that there is a $ 12 minimum, but it’s free delivery and it’s not that hard to make the minimum — you actually end up with more portions that way! No cons about this place thus far. Amazing service and I’m so glad I found this place!

Ugh. I hate having to give this place two stars. They were the best Thai delivery we’ve found. Unfortunately tonight killed it. Ordered through Grub Hub and were given our estimated delivery time. This came and went and we called twice and were told«it’s on its way; just 10 minutes» before we’d even told them what we ordered or who we were! We finally cancelled the order and the person on the phone had the cheek to tell us WE were responsible for telling the driver it was cancelled. Be honest. Don’t bloody lie to me and say your driver is «on his way» when they clearly aren’t. At least offer your unhappy customer a discount, don’t say, «Well YOU can tell the driver it’s cancelled». Sorry but you’ve just lost customer :(

So today was my first time dining in. I have ordered delivery numerous times and have never been disappointed. I was in the neighborhood and a friend wanted Thai and I said I know a spot. My friend ordered Spicy Eggplant which came with rice & I had the Spicy Spaghetti. I tried his order and it was very good. Mine was super delicious. I wanted to stop eating so I could take some to go but I couldn’t. It was packed with flavor, flavor, flavor. As always your meal is not complete until you order Thai Ice Tea. The server was very kind and attentive. It’s an at home atmosphere. FIVESTARSALLAROUND!

Very good deal for dinner. Dinner special and the BBQ Dinner special is a TONOFMEAT. The waiter was very helpful and I think they get a lot of orders for delivery since you can see the delivery boy walking in and out while you sit and eat. The family that owns the restaurant clearly has good taste in movies too because they were watching Sister Act 2 when we came in. Would love to come back or even order for delivery.

The food here is great! I love everything i have ever tried especially the tum yum koong, shrimp pad sew ew, pla koong, spicy garlic shrimp, shrimp fried rice, and the fried shrimp appetizer. The service has always been good as well; very friendly staff. The place itself is cozy, laid back and clean. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Just a couple of days ago I ordered delivery from the Eat24 app through Unilocal and was a little nervous after reading the reviews. A lot of people complained about how long their order took, but I was given an estimated delivery time of 50 minutes and received it in that exact time. Its really the same as ordering a pizza to be delivered so I didn’t mind. All in all, this has been my favorite place in Long Beach to go to for good Thai food since I first tried it a few years back. Must try!
