I absolutely love this place, good food good deals, those mint noodles and the sweet and spicy soup is the best. Very small hole in the wall, so get there early if you want to dine in. Very friendly staff, clean location. The major issue is that you never know when they’ll be open. They don’t go by the days posted online or on their doors. So you have to call in or drive down to see if they’re open. Other than them not being consistent with business hours this place is great. Update: 2÷3÷15 called in today multiple times and finally got through so they were open headed down 20 minutes later and they were closed it was only 1pm. They stopped answering their phone. Turns out when they get large orders and only have 1 cook they close up shop and only do the take out until it’s complete then they open up for business once they’re finished.

This place was a shot in the dark. It’s small and in a sketchy strip mall but the food is good and made fresh. Definitely will become a new favorite of mine. It’s hard to find Thai food places in or by Compton and this place very close for us.

It’s 1:40PM on a Tuesday. I’m in front of this restaurant right now. There are signs that say Open/Abierto, but the doors are locked and no one seems to be inside. There are signs that post business hours of 11:00 to 9:30. Am I missing something here?

When you are in the mood for Thai food this is a good spot in a pinch. They used to deliver, but not anymore. The Pad Thai is yummy with chicken and shrimp. The Thai BBQ is okay. Not my favorite. I do recommend the yellow curry which is served with white rice.

Been to this place many time and it’s been great every time. Eat in, take out or have your food driver. Good for eating alone, with coworker or just order out. Willing to go back and eat there again anytime.

The food was ok. Tasted more like the express Chinese food spots then Thai food. We ordered the Thai pad noodled, my husband loves those… Well not from here, they were sticky & dry. We also got the Orange chicken lunch, it was ok. The BBQ chicken was super average. Food was average that’s all I can say to describe it. Also over priced for the quality. Portions were kind of small.

I always come here for their Chicken Pad Thai to-go… very flavorful, and huge portions! Loved it. Feeds two, and we were both stuffed like turkeys. Friendly customer service!

Papaya Salad — I ordered the«medium» spicy level to split with my fiancé, thinking it was a safe bet. I sadly seem to have forgotten that Thai cuisine can sure pack a punch. After my first three bites, I started to tear up. My ears popped. My face started stinging with icy hot sweat. But that didn’t stop me. The papaya salad is a refreshing kind of agony. The temperature is cold, the texture is fresh with a crunch, and the flavor is good. But the heat brought tears to my eyes as I cycled through«I regret this decision» and«I want another bite» again and again. I was grateful for one of the owners who kept the water refills coming, because I really needed it! Pad Ka-Prao(Menu Item #76) with ground pork — The portion size was generous, and we were glad we’d decided to split the papaya salad and the Pad Ka-Prao dish because there was no way that I could eat one on my own. After my taste buds recovered from the papaya salad’s burn, I quickly picked up the sweet-savory flavor of the pork, delightfully yummy, with a soft kick of chili and bell peppers over rice. The fried egg on top of the dish is a nice touch and works well with the overall flavor. My fiancé and I kept nodding our heads and agreeing that we would definitely come back here for more. Honestly, this is one of the best Thai places I’ve been to in a while. Our bill came out to be about $ 18 for the two entrees, very reasonable for the portion sizes. I’m glad I ventured out of the«pad thai» /«pad see ew» comfort zone to try a Thai dish I’ve never had before(Pad Ka-Prao). The owners are also very friendly and hospitable. We could see the food being cooked fresh since the grill is up front. I was not disappointed at all. Will definitely return for more papaya salad goodness(MILD next time!) and more adventures down the menu.

This was my first time as well as my last time trying out this hole in the wall restaurant. All of our 3 entrees — Chicken Pad Thai, Thai Boat Noodle Soup, and Sweet Sticky Rice with Fresh Mango lacked authentic flavor and were rather bland. There was no customers in sight when I walked up to the cashier; I would have like to see an attentive and friendly waitstaff. Cheers to good eats and living life fully!

We found this spot via Unilocal a long time ago but we were met with a locked door during hours that should’ve been open.(Apparently it’s a common occurrence) We decided we’d try our luck today &WHOOHOO they’re open! This place is seriously a Hole in the Wall… a tiny little place but great friendly service, huge portions of great flavorful food. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I came here on my lunch break from work. I ordered the egg roles and Thai boat noodle soup. I must say that I’ve had better. The egg rolls weren’t the norm for me. they were a little sweet tasting without use of the sauce. Thai boat noodle is probably my favorite soup and I really feel like they half assed it. It tastes as if they cooked the steak separately and then through it in the soup in the end. I wouldn’t recommend either of these dishes for the future. It’s hard when you’ve had really good thai food and then another place doesn’t really compare. I probably wouldn’t come back.

I’ve had wayyyyyy better Thai food. Also, the waitress took my order wrong(I asked for chili on the side) I tried to eat it without complaining, but it was too spicy. When I sent it back I got and attitude. It’s really close to where I work, but no thanks, I’ll pass! First and last time client.

I happened to just stumbled upon this place with a friend. The joint itself is very small and maybe has about 4 tables or so. When you walk in kitchen is to your immediate right and you continue down the a hallway like walkway to the seating area. The food isn’t the best but they give you a huge portion. We ordered pad see ew chicken pad tai papaya salad and some beef sticks. The pad see Ew is really plain and lacking flavor. They don’t use the traditional broccoli but the American type so eh I’ll pass on this dish. The pad tai is pretty good the noodles were just over cooked a bit so as you’re eating you get some that are clumped together and soft. Papaya salad is ok, not enough spice even though we asked for spicy. Beef sticks were just ok also, a few prices were kinda tough but none the less has a decent amount of flavor. All in all this place is just eh, nothing to rant and rave about. The good thing is that it’s open pretty late. I suggest That if you’re going to be paying $ 8 – 10 a plate might as well go to a better place like Panvirman off of carson and paramount.

#1 Poor customer service, server hardly speaks/understands English which leads to incorrect order. When you complain to the owner and ask for correct dish he gets upset and tells you to pay additional because he is wasting food. #2 prices went up by $ 3 on all dishes without notice, they don’t honor menu prices. #3 Bathroom in middle of kitchen, need I say more! #4 Mango is nasty because it isn’t in season, understandable. So don’t sell it! I asked for sticky rice only, he refused and said he doesn’t care if mango isn’t good. #5 No more delivery #6 I was a long time customer but will find another restaurant for Thai Dining, not returning, upset customer.

PADTHAI! Too delicious. They put chicken and throw in a few shrimp. Unlike other spots where they make you choose. Orange chicken is my other favorite from here. Crunchy but cooked just right. I tried something new my first time and didn’t like it. I had stayed away for a while. Taste buds weren’t sophisticated yet I guess. Went back after a couple years and now I’m hooked again! Tiny, hole in the wall, small and cramped, ghetto, you name it! It’s true! But looks can be deceiving and the people working there are very friendly. Call ahead and order so you don’t have to wait! :D y mouth is watering just writing this: D
