It’s been a long … Very long time since I’ve had good Thai food. Long story short I worked at a Thai food restaurant for a short period of time. But in that span I got to try everything on the menu. That food became my standard… And finally honestly 10 – 15 restaurants later one has came close. /cheers I’ll be coming back often for pad kra pow and pad Thai.

Whenever you allow yourself to eat something that is not quite so healthy, please have the crispy pork with the Chinese broccoli and rice combo. You will not regret it. The flavor profile is so good. We go out of our way to come here and eat.

Came here, it was nice and cozy. Had a tv on for me. I been here before had the that boat noodle and hated it, tasted like charcoal and wood. So i decided the spicy noodle soup. First of all it wasn’t spicy at all, I like my booty hole burning by the end of the night. But it sure was delicous. Good service, always refilled out drinks. I like this place, i wouldnt prefer coming here but i wouldnt avoid it. It’s a very nice establishment.

+ Lots to choose from + Tea always being filled up + Quick service + Clean I came here with some friends of mine for some lunch, had the panang(curry). I’m not usually out in this area much, but if I am, I’ll make sure to come back again. This is a very authentic Thai restaurant, and serves lots of that southeast Asian flare. The dish I had didn’t disappoint me, nor did it disappoint my buddies. We all left pretty full and happy. One thing I’d like to point out was the service. Very friendly, upbeat and always making sure we’re taken care of. There’s not much to say about this place, except that I’m a fan and would definitely come back again.

No star … Pictures of food was deceiving, it has no flavor at all. Tasteless wontons ! Chicken tastes weird ! Phad Thai was greasy and a few pieces of chicken … It was a bad idea to try this place …

Best homestyle thai food ever. Affordable and friendly atmosphere. After the redesign, has a café feel and gotta love the free chrysanthemum tea!

My favorite type of food is Thai food, but hands down this is my favorite restaurant period! Been coming here since I can remember. Things have changed over the last 20 years but for the better. I love love love their crispy pork with mint leaf especially with a fried egg — off the hook. I crave it again right after I finish the plate. My husband loves their pad see eww and boat noodle.

Came here last week around 7PM. The place was empty. There was only one other couple who dine there. We ordered the crispy pork with mint leaves and crispy pork with chinese brocolli, topped them with eggs. This place is OK. Compared to Pa Ord in LA, their crispy pork is more on the soggy side, and the time it took for the food to be served was 15 mins longer than Pa Ord when there were actually nobody there. I would prefer Pa Ord, but 3 stars for nice workers there and easy parking. Cash only.

Sizzling Wok was my first experience for Thai food. What flavors to experience! This restaurant is strictly a «Mom & Pop» type joint but the food is 5 star restaurant quality. The staff is efficient and friendly. All you have to do is ask and they will do their best to accommodate your order. My daughter always wants extra veggies and half meat. Many restaurants won’t even listen to a special order. I love their Thai iced coffee & tea. My fave is the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli & crazy for the coconut milk chicken soup with lemon grass. Absolutely delish! It is very clean in this restaurant. Ample parking, the wheelchair ramp is right in front of their restaurant.

I was so excited about this place because I LOVE Thai food. Everyone here was really friendly and helpful. I ordered their most popular dish, the crispy pork and Chinese broccoli. I was really sorely disappointed. I really was only given about five pieces of pork, a mountain of slightly overcooked rice, and some broccoli. The pork pieces were very burnt and tough to chew, but the broccoli was good and flavorful. I didn’t like what I was served, but I am willing to go back to try their curry dishes.

I haven’t written a review in a long, long time and today I felt compelled to do so. I should have taken a picture but I had touched my plate already and decided not to. Anyways, I decided to try this place out since I had gone to House of Fondue right next door(so odd, two Thai restaurants next to each other) and I work across the street. I went with their stir fried Chinese broccoli with crispy pork lunch special for $ 5.95. I’ve been to several Asian restaurants with lunch specials and this place has got to be the skimpiest yet. I probably got like 5 tiny little pieces of pork(mostly fried skin), two pieces of Chinese broccoli, a good size amount of rice, tiny salad, and two wontons with nothing in it. The menu said desert and drink but because it was take out, it wasn’t part of the deal. The food was good but let’s just say I HAD to eat the rice in order to fill myself up. Next time, I’ll just go a la carte. Or next door to House of Fondue.

Sizzling wok is one of our favorite local Thai spots in Lakewood/Long Beach. They give out complementary chrysanthemum tea, which is similar to a sugar cane sweet tea, so good! We always order the crispy pork w/broccoli over rice. The pork comes out super crunchy and goes great w/the sauce. The staff is super friendly, if you’re unsure about what to order, make sure you ask them! Lunch specials are cheap!

I just love this place! The price is decent, good quantity of food, friendly employees, and authentic taste. If you have not tried this place and like Thai food, try this place :) They also give you sweet cold tea for free as water, which goes really nice when you get your food spicy. Can’t wait to go back!

If you want Thai boat noodles, then this is the place for you. It is made with a beef based soup packed with flavor with a spicy kick. You also have to try their crispy pork with mint leaves served with rice and a fried egg. Comfort Asian food at its best! If you dine in, they serve this complimentary chrysanthemum sweet tea which is light and refreshing. My only complaint about this place is the small portions, which maybe isn’t a bad thing for us overweight Americans. Cash only!

Unilocal explains it best: «Eek! Methinks not.» This place is a below average Thai food joint for me. I ordered the crispy pork, the mussel pancake, and pad thai. I don’t know what the hype with the pork is about but it was extremely underwhelming for me. The portion was also tiny(except for the rice, there was alot of white rice) and it was just bland overall. The mussel pancake was so greasy that even my dog wouldn’t go near the left overs.(dead serious) The pad thai was as average as it gets, nothing that makes it better than any 2 – 3 star Thai place. Portions were very underwhelming for the price(I paid between $ 25 – 30), after everything is said and done; I felt pretty ripped off. Owell, good thing there are other Thai restaurants in the area.
