One word: Ghetto. I thought coming to this venue would yield a nice boat to party on. Apparently not. I went on the Party Boat at around 10pm. I think they departed at 10:30pm and got back to shore around 1am. It was supposed to be 1;30am. The reason why they came back early was due to someone getting into a fight. The boat was quite small. There was only one restroom facility if you can call it that. Oh and you have to pump the water in there. My friend made reservation to this boat. This boat had a make shift pole. HAHA At least there was a short line to get drinks(one ghetto alcohol station). There were nice views of Long Beach from the water. This is not a nice venue. I know there are other boats that are more classier than the Party Boat

My nephews and I found the Rocket Boat when we were wandering around enjoying the view of the boats and ocean. The picture on the flyer showed a bunch of people smiling with their hands up riding a speed boat. We were intrigued and thought we’d give it a try. On your way up to the boat a guy takes a picture of you that you can purchase at the end of your ride. The captain greets you as you board. You can sit at the back of the boat, we were told that’s where you get the wettest, or you can sit at the front. They have rows of chairs that are bolted onto the boat. The ride starts out slow as we exit the marina. It’s a nice ride, you pass the Queen Mary and see seals resting upon little docks. The real fun begins once you pass the break water. The boat starts picking up speed and water is spraying along the sides. People are screaming and laughing when the boat picks up air and splashes down. Some have a beer in hand as they enjoy the ride. All the while the captain has loud music piping from the speakers. We are having FUN! The whole things lasts about 40 minutes and costs $ 15 for adults and $ 10 for children. They sell beer and snacks on board and there is a bathroom. The Rocket Boat turns into Party Boat on certain nights were you pay a single fee and you can party on the boat as it drives around the marina. Sounds like fun, I want to try that very soon. The Rocket Boat is great fun! My nephews always want to go on it when they come to Long Beach. We have gone on it several times, each time taking different people to try it out. We love it!
