I called in first, estimating my screen window is approx 4×5. Their quote was $ 20 – 25. My measurement was wrong because actual price came out to be $ 14.
Took in after work, before 6 pm. He gave me the updated quote and picked it up next day at 8 before work. So convenient.
Friendly service, precise work and convenient business hour for customer… want more… Decades of experience!
They repair or replace not only screens (various materials available) but glass windows also.

Just down the street from me. Took my broken window in (avoiding house call charges). Had it new glass installed and ready in a couple of hours and an affordable price. Reinstalled and looking great.

I went here based solely on peoples Unilocal reviews. The place was easy to find and there was street parking. I was greeted immediately by someone-​dunno who, who listened to what I wanted. It was pretty simple. I brought in a couple old screens and wanted new ones just like them.
He told me how much it would be and I pre-​paid cash. He then asked if I could go get lost for awhile or come back tomorrow. The place was empty and I hee and hawed till he said he would make them right then and there. As I was waiting in the shop I noticed other peoples new screens were stacked here and there with the prices on them. Everyone elses screen was cheaper than mine and they were bigger. In addition ALL the prices were round numbers 50.00 bucks for 3 screens here, 17.00 for one screen there. Whereas my two screens were 41 and change and yes I paid cash.
My screens must have been the Rolls Royce model because they were more than any he had waiting for customers in the shop. But what could I do I already paid and he made them already.
I do not mind the messy place, and the service was fine. What I mind is feeling ripped off. My screens were 7 – 8 bucks more than anyone elses and I really would like to know why. I think he shoulda showed me a few options and told me the prices upfront so I could choose.
Anyhoo, I am confident I got the same screens as everyone else-​I just paid more. I’m not too pleased because in addition to the price thing one of the screens took 30 min to pop in and bent easily.

My dog somehow pulled my bedroom window screen out of the window and chewed through the frame (yep…right through the metal), so I needed to replace the whole thing. Unfortunately, my windows are oddly shaped (very tall and narrow, and every hardware store I checked only had square screen frames for DIY projects.
So I did a quick google search, and found Robert’s. I stopped by mid-​morning on a Saturday with the chewed up frame, hoping they could help me out. I was in and out in 10 minutes with a custom made frame and screen that fits my window perfectly for less than $ 20! As others mentioned, the store front is cluttered and messy, but the employee was very friendly and took care of me quickly. I can deal with a little mess for great service!

Needed a sliding glass door replaced because mine was shattered by a marble (tempered glass) and these guys had the best price, came out within a couple of hours and fixed it right up. I was very happy. Quoted 175.00 plus tax and clean up for a total of only 195.00. Every where else was higher. It would have been less had I known how to remove the door myself and bring it in. So all in all not too bad for an unexpected expense ! I recommend these guys too. Oh and let me mention I am on the second floor with a narrow stairway so they had their work cut out for them !

Only there once for a special order of tempered decorative glass. The price was almost half of what others quoted. Delivered on time with no flaws. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Update: I bought 30 screens from Dan and they were all perfectly sized and perfectly square. Once more, they killed the competition.

Pretty much like Robin said… The place looks a little messy, but they know how do do screens, and for the right price! We did a quick price check for some screens we needed replaced at one of the large chain stores whose initials are HD. It was $ 30 per screen Robert’s wanted $ 17 (cash) and only $ 12 if we reused our frame.
Now we’re sportin new screens and we plan to have him do our sliding screen doors next!

WIndows and Doors need screens to keep out the bugs, and that includes people. I got a couple screens to spruce up the old homestead, and Robert is a cool enough guy to do business with.

It’s a small place, dirty and unkempt. Proletarian. You enter into a much-​used office where piles of papers hide the desk and stacks of dusty window sashes, screens, panes and building material makes you wonder if you’re not in the wrong place. But this is it. There is no show room, no fancy tiled gallery of products and services. There are only one or two employees gallantly trying to maintain a manageable hold on a shop offering window glass and screens, tub and shower doors, security guards, sliding glass doors and awnings.
Having used this shop several times over the years, I’ve learned that there is nothing formal about contracting work here, the paper receipt but a byproduct of a firm handshake. Dan and Lin know what you need and with a nod, a smile and a «see ya in a couple days», you can expect your needs satisfied with little regard to profit. There is no middle-​man to gouge or coerce, just them and their work, which they seem to love.
So if you’ve come home drunk, couldn’t find your keys and kicked the kitchen glass door in*, don’t fret yet Chet, see Dan or Lin and ask for tempered glass this time.
