We are a Lice Removal Salon. Shepherd Institute Trained and Certified. Don’t Panic, we will get rid of those pesky unwanted critters that have made your head their home. Our salon is very kid friendly with a play area for kids, free guest Wi-​Fi, TV’s and snacks so you can relax and enjoy your time with us. Ask about our special Holiday Pricing For December. We are available for After Hours Appointments, Please call to request an after hours appointment. Our Lice Removal Salon lets you relax while we take care of the rest. Lice Removal is a process that can be daunting but we are here for you. We also offer school clearance for your child to return to school with no Doctor visit needed. A lot of schools have a no nit policy, which means that OTC Products will not be enough. They only kill live bugs, not the nits (eggs). They are also Pesticides! Our products and treatments are all safe and non-​toxic. We stand behind our work 100%.

History

Established in 2015.

This all began with my lil son being sent home from daycare with LICE. At that point I had no idea what to do. After a daunting 3 days of doing 30 loads of laundry and cleaning the entire house, combing my son’s hair for hours, using what his pediatrician recommended «NIX» (which I did not know then was a PESTICIDE), going to a Doctor visit to get clearance for my son to be able to go back to school, only to find that he still had nits (eggs) and was still not able to return to school. Meanwhile I was missing work all through out this ordeal. Finally I found a Lice removal salon that I took my son too. And that’s where the idea began. I realized this is a much needed service & I wanted to help fellow parents. So I packed my bags and headed to Florida to the world renouned Shepherd Institute for an intense training course, to become a certified Lice Technician. We have since expanded the business & my business partner and I have traveled assisting at school camps! We are here for you!

The ladies here were so nice. They give you a lot of info about treatment and preventing re infestation. It is unfortunate that I had to use their service, but glad this place exist. My overall impression is that they are caring. My son was comfortable the entire process.
I noticed there were no prices posted, I had no idea how much this service was going to be until it was done. It’s pricey. They DO NOT charge a flat fee be mindful of this, however, I did not feel they took more time than necessary in order to drive up the cost to the customer. I would award five stars if I was able to see a price list before hand (but I happen to be very cost conscious).
I hope I NEVER have to get this service again, but if I do I will be coming back to this establishment.

Update: I went in for my one week follow up appointment, and I am excited to report that I am still lice and nit-​free! I have been utilizing all preventative measures (using lice-​repellent spray in my hair, using the nit comb periodically, pulling my hair up and wearing a baseball cap to work) and so far, I’ve managed to remain bug-​free in a «lice-​infested» classroom. I finally have piece of mind that my hair and scalp have a clean bill of health. Now I can sleep peacefully tonight without nightmares that I still have creepy-​crawlies in my hair. Thank you Magic Hands!!!

What can I say these two ladies have great personalities and customer service. I went in for a head check and they told me I was lice free. If this two ladies are in it for the money then I would’ve been one of their loyal customer bc I thought I had lice. They truthful have integrity and professionalism. The products they use are all natural not chemical.
Do not try the home remedies bc the treatments only kills the lice not the eggs and the longer u wait the worst it will get. If you or your child think you may have lice, go to them for a head check. They will tell u the truth n hook u up. Better to be safe than sorry.

Had an issue with my 14 year old step daughter. Found these ladies on Unilocal and hands down best customer service I’ve seen in along time. 1st called and left a message (before opening hours) and 1 of the owners called me back with 2 mins (impressed). The women who assisted us was amazing (Im embarrassed to say I didnt even get her name) but gave me everything I needed to know about this subject. My daughter was already embarrassed but felt completely calm and relaxed at your facility. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you so much for taking care of us. I cannot say enough about the knowledge and skills of Susan and Bailey at Lice Removal by Magic Hands! They are both the most professional and nicest people you will ever run across! The service is totally thorough with three follow up appointments so you are assured that those little buggers are gone, Gone, GONE! They fixed up our whole family and we love them for it! I brought my daughter here after calling another place that wasn’t available right away. Susan was able to see my daughter immediately. When we got there Susan and Bailey were so nice. Bailey treated my daughter right away and did a very thorough job. While she was getting treated they gave me a ton of information on how to deal with cleaning our house and about lice in general. Getting lice is not a fun experience but these ladies made it very easy to deal with. They were nice, professional, knowledgable and seemed to really enjoy and be proud of what they do. I would definitely recommend them.

I received a notice from my kids’ school that a student was sent home with lice. The next morning my daughter was an itching mess. I took both of my kids in so we could all get checked, and sure enough, my daughter had eggs.
Having never experienced lice before, I had no clue what to do. Susan and Bailey are both amazing!!! They are so knowledgeable, patient and great at what they do. I opted to have my daughter treated to remove everything since it was caught early, and I’m so glad that I did.
Both women shared so much information with me and really made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had always dreaded the idea of my kids coming home with lice, but with a wonderful place like Magic Hands, there’s no need to worry or be stressed. They assured me that the home clean up isn’t as bad or intense as people make it out to be.
I will ABSOLUTELY refer everyone I know to Magic Hands. You will NOT be disappointed!

I called Susan and with in an hour I had an appointment. She did an amazing job and is very informative. (I’ve never had lice before so I had a lot of questions) I would definitely recommend this service and these ladies, its worth it rather then trying to get rid of them yourself. She got everything in the first visit. I went in for my check up (two are included in price) and I have no signs of lice or nits!

I love this place!!! I got a free hair check for my husband, daughter, mother in law and I! I got treated by both the wonderful ladies who are so gentle !! I’m glad I found this place! I came here when I noticed my daughter had some possible nits… I panicked and called several people cause my eye sight is terrible.
Susan called me back immediately was calm and professional. She checked me too, cause I was itching. My daughter had an early case and was treated. All natural products were used and they even have movies to keep her occupied. She even has treats to give the kids.
I will never treat my own kids again. We followed up today, and no signs of anything:)
I highly recommend this place.

My daughter has had lice for four months. We have tried all the products imaginable with no luck. Driving by I decided to stop by to get some information. Susan was very knowledgeable and made me understand how lice ”works”. I made an appt for the next day and the process was easy and comfortable for my daughter (six years old) We have followed the after care instructions (simple shampoo and conditioning steps) and she is finally happy and free!
