I have been to this studio twice now, and would definitely recommend it. The first class I took was with a substitute instructor, not sure if he was a regular instructor at Pedal Spin or not. It was not super challenging, but still a good workout. Something was also off with the audio and I had a hard time understanding the instructor. I just followed along visually. My second class(yesterday) was with MK and it was awesome. MK has great presence and I really enjoyed the class in addition to having a great workout. The class was challenging; most of the time was spent out of the saddle. I’ve been spinning for years and I found this to be more advanced than most of the classes I’ve taken. I actually appreciated that! Sometimes with indoor cycling, you’ll have a great cardio workout, but you don’t feel much the next day. I’d say that was me after my first class at Pedal Spin. After MK’s class, I’m SORE today… sore in places I’m not usually sore, like my back and upper core. I’ll definitely be back for more classes with MK. One note: another reviewer mentioned the class was too advanced and that turned them off. I wouldn’t discourage beginners from taking this class. One of the great things about spin is that you can adjust to your own comfort and experience level. You don’t have to get out of the saddle every time the instructor tells you to, you don’t have to «turn right». I think they would be understanding if you mentioned it was your first class, and they’d give you advice on how to ease into it.

I tried the Intro class on Saturday and enjoyed it but was ready to get my butt kicked. Came back Sunday morning with MK and blasted through my hour class, and felt amazing and sore right away! I immediately bought the grand opening special and can’t wait to enjoy my month! Looking forward to many more classes!

I have been searching for a spin studio like Pedal. I am on a budget and most spin studios are either way over priced or run down. This one has an excellent groupon plus decent monthly rates. It has brand new with new bikes. Sounds system is great and the space is remolded and new. I recommend going to Mk’s class on Sunday mornings. Walked out sweaty and ready to take on my Sunday! I guess I won’t feel guilty at Sunday brunch! Update on 1÷17÷16 packed MK class! He hosted a great class. He helped beginners get adjusted and cheered everyone on. Recommend MK’s class along with Mark and Rico’s.

This is a fun studio with great coaches! The facility is new with state of the art bikes and complimentary towels. The atmosphere of the studio is a little«club like». The music is high energy with multicolored overhead lights and dark curtains. The instructors are very friendly and knowledgable. I have taken classes with MK, Mark, Cindy and Cynthia. All of them have personally introduced themselves and offered tips on form and bike adjustments. Today, the class was packed full and MK accommodated me by giving up his bike and teaching the class on his feet. Amazing! I have found that compared to other studios, the teachers here ask you to spend more time«out of the saddle». This may feel a little intimidating to beginners but there is also no shame in taking a break and riding a song(or two) in the saddle. Overall, a great studio and one that I will recommend to my friends!

I took my 1st class this morning and was not happy! Pros: Nice studio 1st class free Good music and ambience Cons: My instructor M.K. As with any group class you have to «vibe» with your instructor. My issue with M.K. is that in no way did he tailor his class to beginners; which is just bad instruction and customer service. I am not new to spinning — but was returning from a long hiatus, so it would have been nice to have an instructor that recognized the newbies in the class, making an effort to help with bike setup and offering alternatives to his more advanced techniques. Instead he spent the whole class«out of the saddle»(which is a standing position and ADVANCED move), plus cranking up the resistance at every chance. This is not the way to help someone who is justing starting to feel confident that they could maintain the 1 hour pace let alone survive the class and want to come back. There may be a teacher there for me that fits my needs but unfortunately due to my schedule I can only go on Sunday morning so I will not be returning.
