Ochoa Tire Service

Bad service… I came here for a tire change… I was told It would be done in 25 minutes… Instead they make me wait for more than 1 hour and still didn’t get to my tire… Lies after lies

never come here, these people don’t know what there doing after being told that they replaced my arm control come to find out my arm control was never the issue the issue was my sway bar link and they never replaced it just just took my $ 270 just to help you guys out they’ll be nice to you and tell you they will take care of you but there not

My spot when it comes to tire service the owners are friendly, helpful and most of all honest which goes a long way in my book.

Excellent customer service. I utilized their services for a front and rear alignment. The car was still pulling left a little bit so they switched the rear tires to the front and re did the alignment. They even gave me a printout of the alignment so I could see for myself. The people at Ochoa’s are very honest and have great customer service and pricing. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family.

UPDATE:
It was clear from the beginning that the «owner lady» (who was, in fact, co-​owner Dolores Ochoa) did not want to give me the time of day and made every conceivable attempt to blow me off.
In order to have them take me seriously, I had to: send certified letters with return receipt requested to the shop owners at the business, to the owners’ home address, and to the out-​of-​state home address of the individual who owns the property on which the business is situated; put them on blast all over social media at every available opportunity; and file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Business and Consumer Alliance, and the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair. I also filed with the L.A. County Department of Consumer Affairs, but they didn’t actually assign the case to anyone for over three weeks, by which time this was already resolved.
On March 4^th, the local CA BAR Investigator personally visited the Pep Boys I subsequently went to, who confirmed the findings of pin-​sized holes in the sidewall, verifying my story. The next day, he went to Ochoa’s in person and immediately upon arrival and announcing why he was there, had to leave and go to another shop for an hour to let the «owner lady» cool down (*sniffsniff*) — she was all hot about the fact that I wouldn’t just go away. Upon his return to Ochoa’s after that hour or so, she provided him with the contact info for the shop to which she sent my tire. He called them himself and they first of all confirmed the pin-​sized holes that I had reported, but as they were obviously in collusion with Ochoa’s, were trying to claim road hazard, which of course would have prompted Ochoa’s to deny my refund. He negotiated with them and convinced them to cover my tire anyway, so they reported accordingly to Ochoa’s. Ochoa’s then agreed to put a money order for $ 80.00 in the mail and signed the CA BAR Investigator’s report accordingly, which arrived this week. I was then able to cash it to finally get my money back in my own wallet.
The thing is, Ochoa’s has a history (read the reviews) of selling tires that magically go flat within hours of being put on the car and then giving the customer all kinds of grief over whether or not to refund their money. They like to claim ‘road hazard’ as a catch-​all category for why they don’t want to refund your money. «You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.» Road hazard means I drove over some object in the roadway that caused damage to the tire, a nail or some other debris, for example. A pre-​existing pair of pin-​sized holes in the sidewall, on the other hand, is a manufacturing defect, which is altogether different. This was a defective product, not a road hazard issue.
I was polite when I first went to their shop almost a month ago and requested a refund for an unserviceable tire. All they had to do was open the till and pull out $ 80 and I’d have been on my way. I still would never have done business with them again, but I would not have taken any of the steps I did to recover my money. It shouldn’t take that kind of effort for a merchant to make good on a bad sale. So much for customer service.
Don’t want to have to go through this kind of experience? Don’t do business with Ochoa’s. Period.

This place is amazing! They gave me a great price and told me what I need for my car unlike firstone did. Firestone wanted to change me $ 589 for service that wasnt even needed for my car. I highly recommend them!!! Im ine happy customer and I will be coming here for all my car needs now :)

Rude and extremely uneducated. I’m referring the the owners wife that runs the front desk, if it can even be called a front desk. Either way I took my truck in to have a few things done and upon picking it up I noticed a big dent in it. After hashing it out with this lady she agreed to pay for the damage. However, once I brought her the quote she turned into a body shop expert and had me going to every one and their mother to get a cheeper quote. Once that didn’t work she said she would pay for the damage in work and to make a really long story short she didn’t even want to do that after all. She did however after much back and forth pay me for the damage. That’s how you lose a customer dummy.

Fast service at a great price!
Went in to get 4 wheel studs replaced. I was immediately assisted by the owner and quoted a great price.
My vehicle was attended to almost immediately and was out in about 30 – 45 minutes from start to finish.
I will return in the future.

BAD BUSINESS! RUDE OWNER! Unprofessional unethical arrogant attitude!
I took my Benz E320 for rear brake job on Sunday evening. Brakes were finished and I took the car home. First of all the Owner lady is very rude! I Paid $ 50 for rear brake installation and turned the rotors on Mercedes, a job for a skillful mechanic.
According to them i need to brake 30 times at, so the squeaky noise will cease, I come back Tuesday morning with same squeaky brake issue, the reason I took it there in the first place. The «owner lady» would not allow work on my car, because my auto zone lifetime warranty brakes were not good, and my old rotor they turned was no good. The car was ready to go when They released it on Sunday.
Now I still have squeaky brakes after spending 50+30.

Just got two 19 inch tires and my alignment here. Great Friendly Service. It’s about 5 minutes from my house, so it’s very convenient for me. I was going to cancel my alignment service appointment, but I ended up get a good deal! Thank you for your Service!

I’ve been going to Ochoa Tires for years. I have purchased both tires and wheels from Eli and his family. This is a top shelf family business, Eli is a great guy. Ochoa has earned my repeat business and my recommendation. This is an honest hardworking family that develops lasting relationships with their customers. Prices are great, Eli always remembers you and always will take good care of you.

I am giving five stars for receiving great customer service for a non-​service. Let me explain…
The low tire pressure indicator light came on for my 2010 Civic. To save time in putting air in the tires, I removed the caps on each tire. And as I did, I discovered a nail embedded in the side wall.
I slowly drove to Ochoa’s, hoping I would get a little glimmer of good hope regarding the tire. As I pulled in the lot, a lady (did not get her name-​but believed she was the owner) asked what the problem was regarding the tire. And as I slowly walked to show her the problem, she looked at me and explained what I had hoped I would not hear; that the nail was in the side wall.
She called her technician who took the nail out with a pair of pliers. Luckily for me, the nail did not completely puncture the tire, more specifically, destroying the tire wall. The technician examined the tire and placed silicon to see whether there was a leak; which did not.
The lady said, «That’s it. The nail did not break the tire» and she walked off. I asked how much for the cost of looking at the tire and she replied, «Don’t worry about it.»
I was much obliged to hear her statement and know there are still businesses that operate with integrity and people service. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who might need tire replacement and service.

Okay, so I live right down the street from this place, my mom has been going to them since we moved to the neighborhood 15 years ago, and my mother will still stand by them.
They are cheap. You can get all four tires replaced there for under $ 100.
However, their tires are defective. We have had to get the tires on our Toyota Tercel replaced 5 times.
The last time that this happened, (the tire was brand new) my sister had to get a tow, and the AAA guy takes a look and right off the bat says these are defective tires.
He asks her where she got the tires from, and she tells him Ochoa Tires on Cherry and Artesia, and he told my sister to never go back there again, they buy and sell defective tires.
They do provide a warranty for the tires that they sell you, if you haven’t gone over the mileage limit, and will replace your tires for free if there’s anything wrong with them, but after 5 blown tires, we’ve had enough of them. Don’t use it.
And on a side note, there customer service sucks. When my sister took the car in this last time, the shop manager lady, or whoever she is, gave my sister a bunch of attitude, saying they don’t replace tires for user damage, and don’t cover road damage and all this crap.
My mom wound up having to go back later that day and sort it all out.
Definitely do NOT use this place.
