What happened? When this place was on 4th and Grand it was amazing. today I gave them my second try since the move and I can say the quality and service has gone way downhill. I made a to go order while the restaurant was empty. Waited over 30 minutes for my burger and fries. When I finally got my order it was clear it had been sitting around for a while. I used to recommend MVP’s, but I just can’t do it anymore. Today will be my last visit.

If you can’t get a basic order right it’s time to rethink your business model. My wife likes hamburgers with just meat and bun only. We went to MVP’s Grill & Patio because we kept driving by this location and we wanted to try someplace new. My wife ordered her hamburger with meat and bun only. The person at the cash register repeated the order to make sure she had it correct and my wife emphasized the importance of meat and bun ONLY. We received our order and drove back home. When my wife opened her hamburger she discovered that it not only had the meat and bun but it also had cheese and some sort of nasty looking sauce. I call the location to complain and was told I could come back to get a new hamburger but that offer was only good for that same evening and the next day. We had planned on getting out of town on that day so we did not have any time to drop by MVP’s to get a new hamburger. I would HIGHLY recommend that people check your order before you leave this location to be sure you get what you ordered. I can honestly say that we will not be going back.

So many great choice to choose from also different type of food. Every time I order something it was very delicious. It’s so close to home that it makes it even better.

Once i came here at 8:40am and they were closed. Posted business hours was 8:30am so i was disappointed. Had hoped for some breakfast to go. But tonight i got a bacon cheeseburger to go and it was tasty. Took kinda long time so i took 1 star off for that and one star off because it was good but not great. I will come back and try other things. The meat and ingredients were all good. No pictures i ate it all

We decided to try this location because the location on 4th Street has roaches and it took over 20 mins for 4 people to make 3 burgers and an order of fries. And while we were waiting 2 different people placed orders after me and got there orders within 5 mins. thumbs downs to MVP

I use to get dinner here often but the last few times the quality is not as good. Burnt fries left items out of my order. They use to have such good quality not sure what happened

Not bad… I tried the Pete Sampras, greek salad in a pita bread… I would order that again. If you’re not aiming for a burger or fries. try it! I hate placed that charge to use a debit or credit card. it’s rediculous and I must say I much rather go to the other location they have. other than that, I’d still be back due to it being considerably close.

Fresh food. Polite staff. I’ve never had an issue here. While it is quick food it is by no means«fast food.» It can take some time especially on the weekends when they get backed up but it’s worth it. Fresh food takes time to cook and it’s seems like everything is made to order. Great breakfast burritos and burgers.

The lady and I had their Harry carrey club and the Mike Tysons vurger. The club was good but the burger jacked us up. It was honestly one of the best burgers I have had in a long while. Only problem was it was so big and had so many components that it was kinda hard to eat, haha. Definitely recommend.

They take cards here, and only cash at Stearns location. I never have a problem with the service at this location. Consistency of our food is on point.

This was my first time coming here and my group of friends proposed this so why not? Lol. It is in a corner between two streets and parking is compact. Have fun. I ordered the Diego Maradona(5.85) with full bag of regular fries. Omg. When I ordered full, they literally filled filled the brown bag with fries. I didn’t even finished it. It was salty though :(Full bag of fries is like 4.85. All of these for 10.50 something dollars. I got the sandwich and it was so good! However, there was too much mayo and not enough cheese to satisfy myself with the ham and pineapple heh. Presentation was good, but it is a mess of mayo lol. I’ll come here again to try another.

First time trying their food. Ordered delivery, showed up within the specified time.(45 minutes, they use maritime bike couriers) Fries were good. I ordered delivery so obviously they’d have been better fresh. But no complaints everything was still as hot as it could be and the portion is huge. I got the double bacon avocado burger combo cooked medium well(I’m a stickler about ground beef) it was a perfect medium well, thumbs up. This thing is monstrous. I mean, like, I need to unhinge my jaw to eat it. But it was damn good and I got through ¾ before I had to tap out. I’ll be heading to the physical location in the future so I can try everything super fresh. Overall met my expectations and I’ll def be a regular customer.

I had their Cristiano Ronaldo sandwich with Cajun fries and oh man was it good! It’s perfection with the melted cheese and pastrami… Need I say more?! Lol the Cajun fries are a must. The portions are pretty big so I was only able to eat a half of the sandwich.

LOL this place is terrible. I’ve gone at least 10 times always hoping it was just an off day or a new person working, but there’s always something wrong. The food usually tastes ok but it’s never consistent. *their burger sauce is gross. There is too much pepper on the burgers. The buns are usually twice the size of the burger patty. how hard is it to get matching buns? The sandwich meat varies in quality from«great» to «eww, I’m not eating that.» Actually it’s been a long time since the meat was great. Also, $ 8 for a burger, fries and 16oz drink combo? Even drunk, it would be better to Über to In n Out than to eat at this place. Or anywhere else. You make my neighborhood sad, MVP.

Small place outdoors seating only. King of a hole-in-the-wall joint. I must say after seeing this place I wasn’t to sure the food would be so great but turns out I was wrong great service, quality and quick food. I ordered the chilli cheese Cajun fries with onions and the order was made to perfection. The chilli has a great taste! Must try if you like Chilli. I will say I’m impressed a lot better than expected!

MVP is on the way home from work for me, so sometimes when I have a burger craving and don’t want to go to a sit down restaurant or pay $ 10 for a burger, I’ll stop by this MVP. It’s a little stand with a few tables out in front on the patio. I’ve run into a few questionable characters while I’ve waited for my food there, so I always take my food to go. The burgers are pretty good in size and there is a really good selection with regards to size and toppings. First, you can choose between 1 and 3 meat patties. The toppings aren’t anything out of the ordinary(such as: bacon, pastrami, avocado, mushrooms, etc.), but they have some pretty unique combinations there. There is something for everybody. There are a variety of sides too — I’ve only had the seasoned fries and the regular fries. I’m not a huge fan of either — and I think the seasoned/Cajun fries are far too salty. It’s just the regular fries tossed in seasoned/Cajun salt. After trying both, I opt out from getting them anymore. They taste just like regular fries from the freezer. The prices here are really good and the burgers are pretty meaty and large, but my hugest problem is that my burger is ALWAYS soggy(the three times that I’ve been here). I only live 5 minutes from here, but by the time that I get home, I always find a soggy mess, especially the bottom bun.

Unlike a few other reviewers, I can’t state that I’ve necessarily had a problem with this place. While perusing reviews, I’m elated to see that they’re expanding. I believe they’ve even been reviewed a time or two as having«Long Beach’s Best Burger». That’s another check mark upon my bucket list. I’ve come here on many occasions now and while I’m not an avid burger boey’ by any means, should I have a car full of people that I want to feed without breaking our wallets OR, should anyone crave an alternative to In N Out, this would by far be the place to go. Some of MVP’s locations aren’t exactly within the best areas; point deduction for being in the hood yet not providing bullet proof vests with the side of fries and ketchup. I’m trying to die from caloric intake and high blood pressure… NOTDRIVEBYSHOOTINGS— Those that can stand the above ^ are rewarded in grilled perfection as the burgers here rarely ever disappoint. The wait can be somewhat lengthy(similar to that of a restaurant), but as with any place else, sometimes rewards are worth waiting for. Sidebar: THEYNEVERANSWERTHEPHONES. it’s a waste of time to even try phoning in advance. Just show up hungry and get in line. I’ve actually come to catch myself a time or 2, going elsewhere and requesting the Larry Byrd or Magic Johnson, lol. While I’d definitely like to see a drive thru surface somewhere within the very near future, I’m compelled to bite my tongue on that simply because as unhealthy as these meals tend to be, TRUSTME, you’ll need to walk it off — -
