Medico Professional Linen Service

This company is appalling in quality and customer service. I’ve been using them since October and it has been nothing but frustration. First of all, the linens come so tightly over-​bundled that there are unsightly creases and puckering. There are at least a few that go straight into my reject pile for this reason alone. I’ve asked them to bundle less of them per package but there’s no change. For every 100 linens I get, about 10 of them go into my reject pile because they are ripped or badly stained and unsightly. Lately I’m getting a bunch that aren’t standard size and barely cover our tables. We are supposed to get credit or replacements for the rejected ones but do I ever? No.
Worse than their linens is their customer «service». Right after my first invoice I noticed an «up-​lift charge» of $ 12 to reach a minimum delivery amount. Did anyone explain this when I signed up? No. I called right away and said if I“m getting charged they might as well add more linens, pillowslips and towels to meet the minimum. I signed and faxed a request that they confirmed was received. Two more deliveries go by with the same uplift charge and none of the additions I requested. Finally I got a hold of my account supervisor who admitted that he never put my request through. It seemed an honest mistake and he said he would credit me for the previous delivery to make up for it. I thought that was a fair olive branch. Well the credit never arrived. They kept telling me to wait for it on the invoice. Now it’s 3 MONTHS LATER. I call every few weeks. Meanwhile that supervisor moved to another position but he passed along this issue to his replacement who ASSURED me that he would follow through. 4 phone calls later and more assurances, I am still waiting and by now fuming. I just emailed again last week to ask him to please look into it AGAIN or he would lose me as a customer. DId I ever get a reply from him? No. Then I get an invoice for a delivery yesterday charging me $ 8 for a Misuse fee. Coincidence? It’s such a joke. Every week I leave a pile of unusable damaged sheets for them to pick up. Sometimes I end up having to use a bad sheet anyway because I run out (due to all the rejects). I never get compensated for those but I get these mysterious misuse fees that no one ever explains to me. How is it possible that they have zero quality control for what goes out but apparently they do for what comes in?
Do not use this company unless you enjoy beating your head against a wall. I’ve never experienced worse service anywhere.
P. s. After posting this I got a text from my office mate. The delivery person dumped the delivery outside our door in the hallway and never even picked up my dirty ones. This after I gave them a key to the office and it also begs the question: if they never picked up my dirty linens, how could they have added a misuse fee?

They decided to ignore me again after having issues! I have never dealt with a company that has this bad of a service. They are happy to take your money for their poor service but never take care of their clients. Please stay away from this company. Nothing more can be said about their horrible customer service.

Medico has been a great partner in providing quality service since the inception of the Kids’ Community Dental Clinic back in 2002. We rely on the high quality! We would not be able to serve the local community without them! We love this company!!!

I agree with everyone about this company. I would give than a negative 5 stars if I could. They provide old weary gowns and when we contacted them to get out of the contract, they made us to choose between paying them two and half years (around $ 3000) since we have a 3 years contract or stay in the contract till it expires.
What should I say !!! They care way more about money than their customers satisfaction!!! I wish I went over these reviews before I signed that contract.

Sorry but they are a horrible company who send people to collections when they terminate there account mutually!

for those of you who are a small business and are considering Medico DONT!!! When I brought on there services to my small business I was told that I would have to sign a 2 year contract. I was extremely hesitant about doing so however the sales rep assured me that if for some reason my business would go under that i could in fact terminate my contract. Unfortunately I had to stop service! I was told that I could terminate until 6 months later I get a call from a horrible collection agency saying I owe them 52 months of service! They are now trying to sue me!!! Sad to say just another company going for the small fish!!!
It’s awful and I don’t welcome the stress to anybody!

All I expected were clean coats and towels for my health care facility on the day they were expected to come. For the past year, this company has been going down hill. I rely on them to provide me with a service for which I pay for. However, for the past several months, they have been charging me for coats and towels that were never delivered. There were many excuses made. No follow up. I finally decided to cancel my service with them because I’m so dissatisfied with their service.
BEWARE! This company has poor company policies as well. Contracts renew automatically so they will charge you to cancel! IT’S ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!
JUST DO YOUR JOB AND PEOPLE WILL BE SATISFIED.

Medico Professional Linen Service has been providing our company with outstanding service. All of the staff is very professional and courteous especially Mr. Frank Rosario. He responded quickly to my request and returned all phone calls promptly. I am very satisfied with their service and highly recommend them to other medical offices. Thanks again Frank for all of your help.

I don’t know who you all are dealing with; these guys are awesome! I have been with them for at least 10 years. Always on time, always friendly. Have there been billing issues, yes, but Fernando in San Diego always takes care of it. If I am really busy and need more sheets, they are there within 24 hours. I call that service!

The manager did try to work with us for a better service now. So, we will keep you updated with what happen. Hopefully, I can provide better insight than my previous review.

I am writing this amendment to provide an update to my previous negative review of Medico Linen Service. In response to my earlier posting, I received a phone call from Victor who is part of the management team at Medico. He gave me an opportunity to voice my concerns and provide further clarification on the issues we have been experiencing. I gave him the names of the individuals that I have interacted with, and he assured me that he would address my concerns with them, and provide additional training if necessary. He also let me know that this would be taken as an opportunity to examine their accounts receivable process and make any necessary improvements. Victor’s follow-​up was much appreciated, and he was very respectful and interested in my feedback. I am amending my rating in light of this.

To give some context, I am the supervisor of a medical group which has contracts with Medico for two of our office locations.
I almost never write negative reviews on here, but my advice is to stay far away from Medico. This company has some major systematic issues.
Their invoicing process is one of the worst that I’ve ever encountered. The way it works is their drivers email you the invoice after visiting your office. We have two offices using their services, and it took us several months to figure out that no one was receiving the invoice copies. Not the administration office, not accounting, not the office manager, NO ONE. When I called them to find out where they were sending all of our invoices, no one seemed to be able to give me that information. I process over 100 invoices per month and it’s basically impossible to keep track of what invoices we haven’t even received. After several months of this, we were sent statements for each of our two offices, with invoices going back almost 4 months. When I call to request invoice copies, they inform me that they will charge for them. Charge me for invoices you never sent me in the first place? I don’t think so. Half the time we never receive the requested copies, and I have to ask again and again. Furthermore, while we are working as quickly as humanly possible on getting these 80-​something checks cut and mailed to them, I get emails from their accounting department saying they are going to turn us over to collections because they didn’t receive payment in full in like, one day.
It took me 4 months of persistant emailing to FINALLY have my email address added to the account, so that we can actually receive the invoices and pay our bills on time. So much wasted time and energy. Apparently there is only one person who can make this change, and it takes 4 months of asking to get him to do that.
Lastly, now that my email address is finally set up to receive the invoices, I have noticed that they sometimes mail statements out before even emailing the invoices. This confuses our accounting department to no end, and it makes everything really difficult to keep track of.
I am at my wit’s end, and would love to switch vendors right away. However, upon speaking to other offices who use their service, I find that everyone is locked into a 36-​month contract, and if you try to cancel early, you start hearing from their lawyers.

I’ve had Medico for my business for the past 4 ½ years. Though they haven’t been perfect, no business is, I am impressed that they went out of their way to make it right when I told them I wasn’t completely happy with their service. They reached out to me and were very eager to make sure that they were giving me good service. That says a lot about a company. As a business owner I applaud that kind of commitment to the customer.

Customer service is horrible. I just got off the phone regarding a price increase in the bill. (an increase that doesn’t bother me, it was understandable for a business, and it was only pennies) but it increased twice in the last month without any notice.
The part that absolutely killed me is that I requested THREE TIMES a statement for a bill we already paid for, and they told me there would be a $ 5 charge for a statement that they NEVER SENT. They also tried to bill us on a «late fee» for a statement that was never sent to us…
Every time a call is made to the company the customer service people are decent, but the accounting department constantly sounds annoyed. I could go on and on about what is wrong with this company.
On the other hand…
The driver that delivers our linens to us is WONDERFUL! He’s nice, corgile, and prompt. the one star for my rating goes soley to the driver! He is GREAT!
