I’ve been a cross stitcher my whole adult life and have been to dozens of cross stitch shops. MariPat’s is the best! Mary is so wonderful! She loves needlework and shares that love and knowledge with everyone that walks in the door. She will pull all your threads, fabric, and other supplies for you. She makes you feel like your project is very special. Since moving from Long Beach, I’ve had a very difficult time finding a shop that comes close to MariPat’s.

Love love love! I started a new and rather complex cross-​stitch project today and decided to stop in here rather than go to Joann’s. I am so happy I did — this will for now on be my go-​to place. It is so organized and the woman who helped me was so awesome and friendly. (I’m not sure if she was the owner, I was remiss to ask). I told the Hubs that I felt like I stopped by a neighbor’s to borrow something rather than a shop. I love supporting local business and it’s so great that I have a shop nearby that I not only need but to which I’m happy to give money. Needlepoint, cross-​stitch, knitting, crochet… They’ve got supplies for all of it.

I came here yesterday as a total cross stitching newbie, wanting to stitch a gift for my parent’s anniversary.
Mari Pat is a fun and generous woman who helped me with EVERYTHING! The pattern, the customization, and she also gave me a mini-​course in cross-​stitching.
An abolute recommend.
