I am very hardworking and professional. I love being around people– getting to know them and what they are about. Your hair is a window into your personality and expresses who you are. Before coming into the hair industry, I got a business degree at Penn State and studied little culinary and art… but I have found that doing hair is my real passion. I love the creativity and fast paced environment! I have worked very hard to learn and perfect my craft. To do so I trained next to an extension specialist, a hair color specialist and a salon owner. I use high quality tools and product. If you book with me, you will not be disappointed.

Amanda is amazing. I found her three years ago and couldn’t imagine going to anyone else. Over the years she has tried a number of styles and colors– all incredible and exactly what I asked for. I trust her completely. She is so passionate about hair and loves to learn continuously going to new conventions and shows to get the scoop on the latest trends and techniques. Not only do I walk out feeling like a hair rock star, but get loads of compliments. Now I have friends and colleagues going to her as well. So grateful to have a talented, grounded, and savvy stylist!

I love love Amanda! I found her off Living Social a few months back. The shop is in a cute location in Belmont Heights. She was friendly, knowledgeable and I was so happy with the haircut that I went back today for bayalage color. I have very dark brown hair. It can be tricky on doing any type of lightening. I’ve had other hairdressers in the past fail and give me ugly orange or yellow stripes that I ended up dying it back to dark brown. I am beyond happy with my color. She was amazing. I haven’t been able to find a hairdresser that I’ve been happy enough to go back to more than a few times. I can’t imagine going anywhere else! Oh and her prices are very reasonable. You can’t go wrong with Amanda. I highly recommend trying her! Thanks Amanda, I love my color! :)

Amanda is amazing! So meticulous and professional! I got a Living Social deal but I think the price she normally charges is a good price for her skills, maybe even more. She also gave me a deal on a hair product after listening to my concern about my hair. She is very kind and easy going, good person to chat with. Will definitely continue to see her.

I started with Amanda last year and I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on my hair. I finally have nice hair and don’t have to pay an arm and a leg! I drive 2.5 hours to get to her… Won’t go anywhere else. Thanks Amanda.

I have been going to Amanda for a few years now after Groupon hopping for awhile. The reason I have stuck with Amanda is that she is able to take what you want (even if you can’t precisely explain it) and translate that into a style that will work for your needs. She’s been able to do that consistently for me from short to medium to long styles. She even has pulled up images online to talk about different styles and coloring just to make sure we were on the same page! And the bonus is that her prices are reasonable and that is very much appreciated. I just visited her today in the new location and it was a clean and quiet salon (I don’t like how most salons blare music so you have to scream to be heard) and easy to get to. I really used to hate getting my hair done as it took forever, cost a fortune, and I usually would leave with a headache and not be 100% happy with the color or cut. With Amanda, I really enjoy my experience and always leave with something a really like.
