Endless Summer Tanning

I have been tanning here for just over 6 months, and as a person with very white skin that is hard to tan, I needed to find a place that «did the job,» and the Viper bed there does just that. I can pop into the bed a couple of times a week and that is sufficient to give me a nice color. The place is always clean, well maintained, and the staff is friendly. I recommend the place wholeheartedly.

Went here for 6 weeks and had a terrible experience. The owner is bitter. I used their sun beds and the strength of the bulbs was weak. Didn’t get tan at all. Waste of money.

First time there and I dug it. I got there late, and I half way didn’t expect them to even let me tan… (Because, well… I called in advance and the dude told me when they were closing. So I knew, I just figured I’d try n make it and if not, oh well maybe next time…) Anyway. So i tried it out, and coincidentally a guy got there right before me, and was using the bed I had planned on using… It was also 15 min before they closed… But the guy was SUPER helpful and really friendly…
And instead of doing the 12 min bed, that I usually do… I tried out the stand up equivalent., the Cyclone (aka my first stand up tanning experience)
The dude (can’t remember his name at all, sorry) was really great and explained everything really well.
The bed was CLEAN AND I GOT A GREAT TAN. PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST TANS IVE GOTTEN FROM A SALON.
Plus the fact that I can listen to is really swell for the 8 min that I’m in there and their choice of music was on point. (& when it comes to I’m hard to please, but you really cannot go wrong with Stand by me by King)

If /​when I end up arriving somewhere near closing time (by or within 30 min — close) — and the employee doesn’t send me away, especially @ a tanning salon… I’m always made to feel really uncomfortable by the attitude of the employees, & I completely understand why they might feel hassled by me holding them up… But Instead of being told that it’s fine, and then made to feel guilty for it… Like I’m ruining their entire life by being there 1 min… or @ most 5 min late… I would prefer them to simply say «no, were closing… sorry, maybe next time.»
But not only did the guy @ endless summer, let me tan…, he also made a point to assure me that it was no problem at all and that he had things he needed to do around the salon anyway… He didn’t cut my tan short or even give off resentful vibes even though it was 20 min after closing time when I walked out the door. He was actually just awesome about it.
So to sum it up…
I’m extraordinarily impressed with the service and great vibes! Sorry for being late, but the way y’all handled it couldn’t have been better, and I’ll be happy to return the favor by coming back!

Clean beds, friendly owners, close to home, good prices. Doesn’t get better then that!

I came to Endless Summer Tanning on a Living Social deal. I will say that it was an adventure if nothing else. It is run by a woman and her son who clearly don’t communicate with one another.
On my first visit there she made fun of the pronunciation of my last name. She commented that I probably got it «real good» when I was in school for that name as she laughed. I had zero amusement shown in my face whatsoever as she bellowed laughter. She told me that she was «shafted» by the Living Social deal and complained about it. Something she and her son both had in common was that they were moody, which was just uncomfortable at times. Sometimes they were full of smiles and jovial and others they seemed annoyed you were there (one time he barely made eye contact with me and said no words when I came too close to their closing time). On one occasion she was yelling at a small child (I assume her grandchild?), yanking them by the arm and aggressively telling them to sit down.
On another visit, I planned to use the coupon on Unilocal to purchase tanning lotion and while she let me, she visibly displayed how upset she was that it was on there. She seemed to think that Unilocal put the coupon on her business page themselves, but it was my perspective that it was her son.
I could provide several other examples of their service but I think this sums it up. I assure you, they astonished me regularly with their unprofessionalism. While it gave me some good stories to share with friends, it wasn’t worth how uncomfortable it made me.

Endless Summer Tanning Salon is a small convenient place to quickly get a great tan. I have been coming here for a couple years now and Tonya does a great job at keeping the place clean and comfortable every time I am there. I walk by the window almost everyday and Tonya and her family are always so friendly and inviting.
I recommend this salon if you want to help a small business thrive!
The variety of tanning beds is one of the many perks to this small salon.

Best spray tan EVER. I have done many spray tans in my day. The magic, the mystic, personal spray tans and this is by far the best color and most professional application I have ever had. Tanya and Julie are amazing. Very kind and helpful. They make you feel right at home. I work next door and my pasty white legs (as my boss called them) needed some help since I was wearing shorts on a hot day. In the middle of my shift I ran over to Tanya to help me from scaring away customers with my white legs and in the blink of an eye I went from feeling and looking fat and pasty to thin and tan. Well she didnt really make me thin but everyone knows a tan makes you look and feel 10 lbs thinner. Thanks Tanya for saving the day.

I love this tanning salon. its clean and private. the staff is always so nice ! I recommend this salon to any local lbc tanners… anyone for that matter!

I have not had an airbrush tan like this before. First she sprays you, then you do a quick mini bake in a stand up bed for a few minutes followed by a few minutes of drying in the fan. It’s awesome! I hate spray tan machines that are automated, they smell and are uneven and weird. Tanya is the best at airbrushing and very thorough. People were complimenting me on the street. My friends thought I went on vay-​k and the tan hid the fact that I hadn’t been to the gym in a few weeks. Def get the combo airbrush package. thanks, Tanya!

Awesome friendly staff. Love the location on Broadway and have never had to wait for a bed yet. Relaxing VERY clean and welcoming. SO glad to have found it! I can get my tan on and meditate at the same time!

I obviously used Unilocal to find a place to tan. The people here are very kind and easy to talk with. The place is very clean and the bulbs seem strong. I got the lowest plan bc I need a base first but with this plan I am get two free upgrades which is great! The prices are affordable and no stupid contracts or clubs to join. The lotions are priced great as well. I recommend fully!

I was an incredibly satisfied and returning customer for about 4 months. I never used their tanning beds, but I thought their spray-​on tanning service was an amazing quality for the price. I originally even thought they had great customer service and had brought a few friends to check out the salon with me. I had Tonya every time (and INITIALLY) thought she was so sweet, especially since she remembered me after my first visit.
The problem? She accused me of stealing her iPod the last time I was there.
What ruined this business for me was the way this «specialist» went about the situation. First of all, I would NEVER steal another person’s iPod. I can understand how terrible it is to have something stolen from you and how much it can ruin a good day, and most importantly, trust. But even after I denied it, Tonya continued on with her accusations, claiming that she had left her iPod in the spray-​on room and I was her only appointment for the day.
Hey spray-​on tanning lady! (I really hope you see this)
1. I most certainly did NOT steal your iPod. (Not that it’s any of your business, but just in case I have your attention, I would like to take this opportunity to stoop to your level and rub in your face that I just purchased the iPhone 5 with 32GB. Pfft. Like I would have even needed to steal your dumbass iPod).
2. Why you left an iPod unattended in a room with customer traffic in the first place is beyond me. You were literally asking for it to be stolen. So stop pointing fingers, you have no one to blame but your irresponsible self.
3. After I denied it, it was BEYOND unprofessional for you to keep me on the phone to continue accusing me of stealing your iPod while I was in VEGAS. I definitely did not appreciate such a rude call on my trip, nor do I appreciate the existence of this company.
I still can’t get over how insulting this whole experience was. There are dozens of other tanning salons in Long Beach, the beach, and a spray on salon with great reviews and Unilocal deals literally right down the street (Envy Spray Tan:
). Since there is absolutely NOTHING about this salon that makes it stand out against its competition, PLEASE don’t waste your valuable time or hard-​earned money on a company that doesn’t appreciate the importance of treating their paying (and returning!) customers with respect.

This no-​frills salon is exactly what I look for in a tanning booth: clean, effective, and fairly priced. Also, there is a really nice girl who works the counter and has a magic knack for remembering names. Sometimes I don’t come in for two months at a time or more, but she still remembers when when I pop in. It’s cray-​zay.

I got the best spray tan here. The girl working the front desk is very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience my tan has lasted over 2 weeks!

To be honest, I don’t really like going tanning all that much so when I have to do it, I want something quick and painless (that works well). Endless Summer opened up around the corner from me several years ago and when I met the owner, Tanya, she was very understanding and helpful in deciding what was right for me, which lotions to use, eye wear, post-​tan instructions for making tans last longer, etc. Since then it’s the only place I tan. In addition, I’ve started using her spray tan feature which has been a great benefit when you need a quick tan. If you live in the Long Beach area, do yourself a favor and come to Endless Summer. :)

I started doing indoor tanning at this place last summer when I lived in Long Beach and I miss it. Why don’t more places have indoor tanners with SPF like they do? I don’t know why so many people think that SPF will prevent you from tanning – not true. I had a great tan last summer, and I only got a little pink once during my first time. Now, I’m going to one of many tanning places that doesn’t have SPF indoor tanners, and after being warned that outdoor SPF lotions would be so terrible to use (I’m not sure why, I think this is a gimmick of indoor tanning salons since I’ve used them and been just fine) I tried using a regular tanning lotion. Even though I was a bit tan to begin with, I’m totally burned, and in weird patches all over my body. I know this is a bit of a rant but consider it a PSA for anyone who’s new to tanning who has concerns about burning and safety like I did – take advantage of some of the SPF lotions that this place offers.
Staff here is pretty helpful if you ask them questions, and I like that you can listen to the radio in the rooms. The place is clean, and it’s a good price; I started by taking advantage of the cheap unlimited one-​week tanning for new customers. I’d recommend this place.

The girl who is always working the front is friendly and helpful. I was nervous about getting a spray tan in the nude, but she made me relaxed and comfortable. Great place to go tanning.

No time to get a real tan these days.. .
When this happens, I call on endless summer. Its conveniently located and easy to get in and out without hassle. PROBLEM IS, I can never get in unless I stop by. The ads say they open @ 8am. They never answer the tele in the am or are late arriving. Its now 9:58 am and no answer.
THIS IS WHY I ALWAYS USE CALIFORNIA TAN ON SECOND STREET IN NAPLES. They rock! Clean, quick check in and very polite.
