Long Beach Arena- Long Beach Convention Center And Entertainment

Came here for a convention. Nicely decorated lobby and the outside is nice. The seats are awful though! I can’t sit down too long or my entire back hurts :/

disney on ice was my fist time here. the set and the props were amazing and my wife was quite impressed with the wardrobe change –since it had to seem «magical“so,“do i love you (cinderella on brodway) because i love you (the show, of course)».essentially, i was mesmerized and I’m a 49year old grown adult.

Concession «service» is AWFUL. Employees move slower than molasses, causing you not only to be gouged for a water, but also miss your show. Yes, employers need to take better care of their employees in general terms, but these employees don’t deserve jobs. Unacceptable.

So I go to the easy rider show and the convention center website says free motorcycle parking. But, when I get there it’s $ 5. Every employee just goes ‘hmm, thats weird but it is ONLY $ 5. I would hate to just say ‘false advertising’ or ‘bait and switch’ but… needless to say I won’t be returning for any other events or recommending anyone else go, that’s for sure…

I was at the LBC Arena for the international motorcycle show, and it was very exciting to see all the Vendors showcase their bikes. This place is huge and offers variety options for both consumers and business owners. It also didn’t hurt that they had awesome food trucks outside

I have actually been here a few times, but went this past weekend for a Jui Jitsu event called Metamoris and found that everything ran smoothly. The setup for the audience was outstanding along with the snack and refreshments that were on hand.
I hope to be back.

This review is for the IMS (International Motorcycle Show 2014). My first reaction upon entering was «What’s happened to the Powersports industry? Back in 2008, this used to be a Rockin’, busy show packed with Moto vendors. This show has become a joke now, with all of these Non-​Industry related vendors pawning thier wares and services here. I came here to see Motorcycles and buy Motorcycle related items. Instead I am plagued with Stooges and Goons selling time-​shares, vacations, insurance, toys, sunglasses, posters, coloring books, massages, chiropractic services, «Shamwow «, Pop a Doodle Doo popcorn guy, peanut guy, Jerky guy, shoe cleaner guy… Where are all the Motorcycle Vendors??? This place has turned into a swap meet. And a bad swap meet at that. I want my money back. I could go to Chaparral in Berdoo and see more Moto stuff than this whole show had to offer. «Shut it down… Shut it down NOW…»

I don’t have a ton of experiences in Convention centers, but this event is sooooo pleasant. Salon Centric Event

Just watched Disney on Ice, 11:00am show, the sound system was horrific! It was very crackly and tinty throughout the whole show. You could not make out what was being said and the music was distorted. I had been to one other DisneyOnIce at the Honda Center in Anaheim a few years ago and thought the same quality of show applied elsewhere, apparently not. Don’t waste your time spending your money or time for this type of event at the Long Beach Arena — it was embarassing. I had 8 other members and kids and we all felt the characters and show was let down by the Long Beach arena. We rarely focused on the characters and what was happening in the show because of poor and irritating sound system in the Arena, it was shameful what Long Beach Arena did to this show.
No proper signs and direction leading directly to the Long Beach Arena, most drivers were parking in the convention center parking lot and walking the distant to the Arena, approximately ½ mile away, when there were plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the Arena that were not used or identified as Arena parking.

The ballroom is an updated space, a bit chilly, but I am always cold.
The lunch yesterday was ok, typical reception food. The staff was quick to turn over the courses for everyone at the table.
There were nice refreshment options during our breaks but I wish there were some other caffeine options than coffee or Pepsi.

Drinks were good! Shots of patron were $ 10 each. Restrooms were always packed but clean! Seats are really close together so be prepared for a tight squeeze lol but good leg room… Well for me considering I’m 5’3″. Don’t show up late if you don’t want to have a hard time finding your seat. The employees didn’t even bother to help us. They just told us what row we were in and said we had to find them ourselves. Didn’t like that at all because our seats were in the middle of the row so we had wait for ppl to leave to find our seat.

This place is definitely downmarket. The seats were barely clean, and they date back to the Roman era. Before the show and during halftime, there is a massive crush of vendors, walking around selling food and trinkets. It is particularly annoying to see them tease young kids with toys that their parents do not want to buy for them. And the prices are beyond insane: $ 22 for a toy that costs maybe $ 1. Parking is $ 10, but you can probably find free parking if you look in the downtown area.

Came for Long Beach Indy race. Company function and this place was very convenient. Well done
