I was never the type to go and get massages but it was an emergency because I had a lot of pain in my back. Lucky John was able to take me in at 8pm! When I got there he was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. You could really tell he knew what he was doing and he did a great job on my back. His prices are great and for a broke college student I will definitely be going back for a second appointment.

Great massage by a great guy. I was so excited to finally have time to get a massage and decided to try someone new. I usually like deep tissue because my job is very stressful and at this point, so is my personal life. I explained to him that my shoulders and neck were giving me the most trouble and he actually listened! He focused on my shoulders and neck and really loosened me up. I felt 1000 times better afterwards and scheduled my next appointment right then and there. I highly recommend him for any of your massage needs!

I have had horribly painful knots in my upper back and shoulder and neck due to a highly stressful job. I’ve been to several massage therapists to absolutely no avail. I’m so happy I stumbled upon Jonathan’s services, he is an exceptional masseuse with a true passion for the craft and has the drive to constantly educate himself and others about therapeutic massages. I thought I would have to live with my knots and that they’d just be a part of my life but Jonathan worked his magic on them through a blend of traditional and his own personal techniques which slowly melted all the pain away! I would give him 6 stars if I could!

I walked into the office and was very pleased with jonathan professionalism and his kind demeanor. All though I was nervous jonathan relaxed me and reassured me that I was in good hands. The massage was much needed, I am so happy that he and I crossed parhs. I will definitely return and have another massage. I highly recommend his services.

For the last six months I have had pain in my right wrist. I went to the Doctors a couple of times and since, I have a medical history of Lupus, my doctor just assumed my arthritis was acting up, and told me to continue with my medication. My wrist was painful, stiff, tingling, and I had some numbness.
After a quick evaluation Jonathan stretched my wrist out, moving down my forearm, I thought wow he has no idea what he is doing!!! However, with his deep strokes he relieved all the pain instantaneously!!!
Three days later I still have no pain! Jonathan is a well informed, educated massage therapist who I have a new found respect for. Definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs to relieve stress, be recharged, or just unwind.

At this point in my life, i would almost consider myself a massage connoisseur! I have tried all types of massages from the inexpensive $ 20 Foot Spa massage all the way up to massages provided at full service spas such as Burke Williams, Glen Ivy or upscale hotels — and of course — everything in between. I know how beneficial they can be in regards to pain management, stress reduction and just a plain olé enjoyable time!
Jonathan provided me with a Back, Neck and Shoulder massage and I was surprised with how knowledgable he was with my problem areas just by feeling around with his hands. He pinpointed each of my knots and possible reasons as to why they were there/​what caused them. He was attentive & a great listener who adjusted his gentle approach to DEEP tissue when I vocalized my preference.
One of the most valuable and unique parts of the massage was the stretching, even though this is common in most massages. Jonathan was able to do some thorough, deep yet gentle stretching (to your level of comfort/​ability) both BEFORE and AFTER the massage which is what made it unique. He mentioned that this stretching helped loosen the muscles/​surrounding areas enough to allow his hands to maneuver the knots/​have more room to work initially — then, to solidify the breaking up of the knot afterward. This is something that NO OTHER massage therapist had ever told me or practiced on me and I truly feel that this small addition made a BIG difference! I still am feeling loose and relaxed nearly a week later.
Finally, Jonathan helps you to understand the importance of good posture /​rolling shoulders backwards in order to sit appropriately, etc. He is an extremely kind hearted and warm natured person and would recommend him to all my friends!

Jonathan has come to my place the last few weeks to give me a massage. First of all he’s very in tune with injuries. That’s a plus. The next thing is that he fine tunes his massage to your needs, which is pertinent to a good massage therapist. I’ve booked an hour to 2 hours with him and now he’s my regular on Sundays. He can handle stress relief to injury– which I toggle between. I highly recommend Jonathan Massage for anyone!
